Ren was tapping on his Keyboard and mouse as he played games for hours. With thousands of hours of game time, we could say that he was a hard-core gamer at this point.
He was playing diverse games and we could say he was also a strategist and a cunning one at that. He also played Kingdom Building games and strategy games. The strongest games he played were MOBA and souls like games. Relying on his fast hands and reflexes that were high tier. And also his calculative decision makings in the game itself.
The fun ones were his horror games that he often streamed. Yes, he was a streamer and a gamer. He often streamed the games he played and then he could at least make the journey worthwhile with his funny remarks and reactions while playing.
The thing was, this made him a global hit on his streams and his recorded videos. Making him earn money for his family. His play was short-lived though, as he died of a heart attack while playing.
His death was recorded live on his stream and then he just closed his eyes and dropped dead on the floor from his chair.
When he opened his eyes, he woke up from his bed and then saw the unfamiliar place he had been sent to. He saw that it was not medieval like the ones he had read from Isekai animes.
"Wait, I have been transmigrated?" His voice was pitchy and younger than he had imagined. He also watched his face in the mirror and it was different. A kind that you would jolt to the sheer surprise of the unknown face of the one you were facing. He then felt that it was his body that he had transmigrated to. His face was tanned and round cheeks. Slightly cute when smiling and sky bluish hair that was pointy.
He could not remember how he ended up here but then his past memories surged up and then his body's past memories resurfaced. It made him almost collapse to the pain. He bears it out until it subsided and his mind became clear. He was named Ren and his supposed body was also named the same. He could remember memories that were not distant but his own. Or so what he felt was that he became one with the soul of the body he was in. He became Ren and Ren became him. Two souls fused to one.
He then remembered that he will have a Class awakening that will happen on his fourth birthday. He would awaken his class. Or so what does this world normally have.
It was not unknown to him as he has read tantamount of novels related to this type of phenomenon. Only that, he could not believe as real but a work of fiction. But now, it was the opposite. He could see that it was true after all!
The thing was, he was excited. As his memories have told him. This world has Heroes as Hunters of Dungeons and Villains. They also streamed their heroic works that made them popular. It was the trend of this time and he could relate to this type of entertainment as he was one of the few that streamed their games in the past.
As he scanned through his memories more. This kid he was on, was a fan of Heroes and his favorite one was the greatest hero of all time "Might!". He was renowned to be the strongest hero of all time. Punching villains with one punch!
As he also remembered. He was growing in interest too as he was also feeling the feelings of this body's Ren. It might become mutual enough to have interest.
He also wanted to see him in action. And that was when the streaming industry came to life. The fans wanted to see their hero in the works and in action.
The Heroes all went to rich with them fighting the villains and conquering dungeons. Slaying monsters and all kinds of evil.
The thing was, in ancient history, the world was without monsters. Then they came, the portals that spewed monsters and demons. Humanity was taken aback and then were slaughtered. Only a few survived and made colonies. Safe haven from monsters. But not all were tragedies. There came the essence that were also from another world that gave powers to humanity to fight back.
And then came the first Awakeners that were soon called Heroes. They were the first to have class awakening that was from the essence that was from another world.

They stood against monsters and demons and then built the Hero Association. They forced the monsters and demons to go back to the portals to where they came from. Though one thing was unclear, how do they close the portals? But then they all discovered the boss of each portal. By slaying them, the portals would cease to function or exist.
Ren then immediately went outside his room and saw his father and mother cooking. He watched the TV and they were broadcasting his favorite hero of the time. "Might!" His young voice screamed and his eyes shown interest in the broadcast.
He was fighting the Villain that slaughtered the village nearby. He was watching with his toy held in his hands.
He punched the Villain and then it was sent flying, the fight was over. The enemy gone into the farthest parts of the country.
"Yes!" All viewers screamed in unison and they all sent likes and hearts to show support.
Ren on the contrary could not hold his excitement and wanted to be a hero too in the near future. But his mature old soul inside was still calm and composed.
He went to see his father Mills and mother Mia. He was grabbed by his father and carried him to the chair facing the table. Ren nearly screamed but he saw that food was served and so he immediately manned up.
The thing was, he also had a baby brother and he was in his toddler stage. He was holding a spoon and fork and was eating oatmeal with milk.
"See, your baby brother behaves and does not cry." Mia said then put a spoonful of oatmeal in his mouth.
"Tomorrow is your birthday, we will go to your awakening!" Mills said to him. Patting him in the back.
"Aren't you excited?" Mia asked.
"Of course I am!" Ren said to them.
"Good! What class could it be? I am wishing and expecting great for your birthday!" Mills said then smiled.
*How about a Warrior class? Do you like Warriors? Or perhaps Mage? Or sneaky ones like Rogues?" Mills wondered and was imagining.
"Mills, leave that to our Ren, let's eat now or else the food will go cold." Mia interrupted.
They eat and like a happy family they had, they all were merry that night. Ren then was excited to see his Class tomorrow, of what it could be!
