The first day is paperwork.
This is not what Yeon Yujun expected when Seo Hwigeon said they were moving first, but Ki Yeonbom, it turns out, has very strong opinions about documentation before raids and is not shy about expressing them.
"Detection protocol," he says, putting a stack of printed forms on the table in front of Yeon Yujun. "Each team needs to know what a fresh stone looks like versus a dormant one. The signatures read differently in real-time scan conditions."
"Can't you just tell us?"
"I am telling you. It's in the documentation."
Yeon Yujun looks at the stack.
"Yeonbom-nim."
"Page three has diagrams," Ki Yeonbom says, already walking away. "Read page three first."
Pouch, from his jacket pocket, looks at the stack of papers with the expression of a creature that is very glad it doesn't have to read anything.
"Lucky you," Yeon Yujun tells it.
"Pupu~" Pouch agrees.
He reads page three.
