There are Three kinds of energy used- Magic Mana, Weapon Zes and Divine Shen
Magic mana is just Mana that is used for Magic spells.
'Zes' is a converted form of Mana, Kind of like Weapon qi.
'Shen' is a completely different power with no connection to Mana. To explain what it is, It's like Divine Holy power used by priests.
There are a total of 12 Elements for magic. Yes! 12! Fucking 12! And they are....
Fire, Water, Wind and Earth are called Basic elements.
Lightning, Nature or wood and Light are called Advanced elements.
Space and Time are called Cosmic elements.
Dark, spirit, Neutral
To use magic spell, The mage need to know about the spell itself in theory, How the outcome looks like, The ability to imagine the spell, the specific mana flow necessary for that spell and he should be worthy of that spell. Means, A Low-rank Mage cannot cast a High-rank spell even if he has a large mana pool and all the info about that Spell.
