Chapter 28 - First time: Outside, snow; inside, fire.

We didn't talk at all about what Clara had told us. We stayed silent throughout the flight and landed in Switzerland. Doesn't that seem strange to you, my friend? As for me, I spent the time thinking and came to two conclusions. The first is that I'm going to write my own story—even if it's a story full of pain—but I will find a way to make it fit, as best as possible, within the seer's advice. I'm strong, but that doesn't give me the right to be stupid. The second is the most important: I knew it! I was shocked when she said, "You're going to love many more than two." Hearing that while I'm completely in love with Killian felt like a slap in the face, but let's be honest: I'm only twenty, and I already love two people. Wait… did I really just say that? No, I didn't mean it… I don't love Lucius… or do I?

The cabins are a damn snowy paradise: massive, luxurious, and above all, they smell like chocolate—because yes, there's a lot of it. Annia and Evangelina put on their ski gear and disappeared the moment we finished unpacking. And speaking of Evangelina, I need to tell you something: what Clara said about the signs matching the color of my eyes… something inside her shifted. She's been watching me more closely than ever, and damn, her ass looked perfect in that ski suit. If the Longfield boys weren't so insanely attractive, Evangelina could easily have been my third almost-love.

Killian wrapped his arms around me in the cabin's kitchen while I was opening the fridge. He kissed me and said,

"I've got the cure—the perfect solution for all that overthinking you've been doing. I can see you're fascinated, but worried at the same time about what the seer told you."

I answered,

"No, it's just… I realized I'm like those little girls whose parents take them to school for the first time, and a month later the teacher tells them their daughter is a genius—and they had no idea. That's exactly how I feel. This is the first time I've truly stepped out into the world—a world where men like you should devour inexperienced, broke, orphaned girls like me, with everything you already know about me—and yet here you are, in love with me. And sorry for bringing it up again, but Lucius wants me too. I'm sure Evangelina is on that same list, and Annia only showed me affection at first, but I feel her getting closer every day. Tell me, Killian… what do you think about this supposed new power I apparently have? Or wait… maybe it's not even new. Maybe I've always had it, but I never had anyone to explore it with. Because Carol loved me too. I don't attract bad people… I'm sure of that. Come on, tell me! Am I strange, or is this more common than I think?"

I spoke so much and so fast that Killian, looking completely serious, said,

"This is worse than I thought… yeah, you definitely need the cure. Give me your hand. We're going shopping right now. I'm going to force you to relax and forget all that mental chaos by taking you to Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich."

I had no idea what he was talking about, so I just widened my eyes, waiting for an explanation.

Killian exhaled and said, pretending to be offended,

"It's one of the most expensive streets in Europe. Do you know why? Because Bahnhofstrasse is home to the most exclusive high-end designer boutiques in the world. I'm taking you shopping right now."

And that's exactly what he did. An hour later, we arrived in Zurich. On the way, Killian drove the sleek black sports car he had taken out of the garage. That's when I realized the cabins belonged to the Longfields too. In the first store we entered, Killian spoke with the manager, and immediately three saleswomen approached me with excitement. They took me by the hand and led me into a spacious, luxurious fitting room, where they brought everything from skirts and shoes to haute couture dresses. I liked four different outfits, and every time I approved one, they opened the door so I could show Killian, who was sitting at the end of a long carpet like a warrior king.

I quickly realized none of this was normal. At first, women were staring at him from a distance—only at him—admiring his looks or wondering who that man was. But as the minutes passed, every time I came out to show what I had chosen, they started looking at me. Only at me. I had no idea about the prices; I asked once, and the women helping me refused to say. The oldest one was the only one who gently advised me,

"Enjoy this, dear. It's not every day that a gentleman only wants the very best for his wife."

I froze. She said "wife," and I almost tried to correct her, but I ended up smiling like a lovestruck teenager and couldn't look at Killian without falling even more in love with him.

They brought me a silver evening gown covered in dazzling stones that practically blinded the eyes, along with a matching purse and shoes. I thought it wasn't for me, but in the mirror, I had never looked more beautiful. One of the women said, "It was made for royalty," and I asked about the price again. She stepped away and came back with the manager.

The short, elegant man told me,

"Your husband instructed us not to discuss money with you. We are only to offer you the best we have, with the single condition that it highlights your eyes and your skin. I've never heard anything more romantic in my life, so please don't ask about the price again. The dress you're wearing has a hundred real diamonds. See that sparkle? There's no other way to achieve it."

When I stepped out to show it to Killian, several other customers who had gathered to watch began applauding. He stood up, walked over to me, and kissed me like in the movies, setting off a wave of excited squeals and dreamy sighs around us.

Three stores and twenty bags later, we headed back to the car as the sun began to set. I felt incredibly special and deeply in love—his hand resting on my thigh, slowly sliding higher and higher, me letting him, caressing his strong arm… it turned me on.

Back at the cabin, we couldn't stop kissing. I explored his torso while snow began to fall outside. The massive fireplace lit itself, and he—like a colossus of muscle and charm—opened some chocolates and brought two glasses of wine. We drank them lying on the rug in front of the fire.

Lying there side by side, I couldn't stop looking at his green eyes glowing in the firelight. He slipped his fingers into my mouth and I let him, while I caressed his perfect face. He lifted my clothes and began kissing my breasts, then slid his wet fingers lower and touched me with skill and raw passion. A few minutes later, I was completely naked, unable to hold back any longer. I was at the mercy of his mouth and tongue. I never wanted it to end. He took off his pants and positioned himself over me, but I pulled him back so I could look at him like that—so aroused, so much a man.

I took him in my hand and brought him to my mouth. He was so big he filled me completely, so hard it felt like steel heated in the coals of love.

Annia and Evangelina knocked on the door. We weren't going to open it. I wasn't going to let go until this time he could finally reach his climax. He squeezed my breasts and warned me he couldn't hold back. I wanted to taste him, wanted him inside me. The girls stopped knocking, but we knew they were still out there, listening to his groans and mine. Killian's eyes now looked like those of an animal—a primal beast with only one thing on his mind—and he told me,

"You're mine now… lie back."

I obeyed. With my back on that soft, cloud-like rug, I spread my legs. He moved over me like a beast in heat, and when he finally entered me, I cried out in pleasure and couldn't help digging my nails into his waist. That only aroused him more. On the third thrust, I had the most incredible orgasm of my life. He didn't stop until I reached another, then he turned me over and kept making love to me until I had a third. My whole body trembled with pleasure. The thought of getting pregnant didn't even cross my mind; I wanted him to stay inside me, but Killian—skilled like a stallion—spared me that concern by lying down beside me again.

I kissed him with all the love I had, thinking that not even in my dreams had I imagined a first time so intense, so sensual. Then he got up, took a condom from one of the drawers, put it on, and came back for me. He lifted me in his arms, kissed me as he carried me to the bed, and his fiery gaze burned even hotter when I opened myself for him. We did it again. I dug my nails into him as I felt him deep inside me, his thrusts making me cry out in pleasure. As we both kept saying "I love you… I love you… I love you…" we finished together. I ended up exhausted and smiling; he gently covered me. Outside, snow. Inside, fire. With Killian beside me… I can't describe it any other way: he is my complete happiness. I am his.

We fell asleep. A few minutes later, I took a bath, reliving every moment. When I came out wrapped in a white robe, I heard knocking on the door again.

I opened it, and Evangelina was standing there like a monument to feminine beauty. She wore a flowing silk dress with nothing underneath, her full breasts clearly outlined. She smiled at me and whispered, careful not to wake Killian,

"We heard your moans. These walls don't hide sounds very well. More than congratulating you on your first time, I should congratulate that lucky man sleeping like a lion in there. The four of us are having dinner tonight. I came to tell you that… and to try to steal a kiss."

Right then, Killian's phone rang and he woke up. A few seconds later, he appeared at the door, fully dressed. He greeted Evangelina and said,

"Annia's father and mine want to have a video call in ten minutes. I'm going to get her and we'll take it from the cabin next door. Wedding matters—it'll probably take an hour or two."

Evangelina, quick as a cheetah, said,

"Don't worry, I'll stay here with Carmilla. Go ahead, and we'll have dinner together once you're done."

Killian gave me a tender kiss and left. The moment he was gone and she stepped inside the cabin, she pulled me into her arms. Even though I laughed nervously and shook my head no, when she ran her fingers across my lips… I opened my mouth.
