CHAPTER:24 [Extermination]

The night was filled with loud noises…
"Please don't—"
Shiing
The sound of a weapon cutting through these noises echoed through this abandoned miserable building…
Thud
"When is the mass gathering happening and where?"
A woman wearing a sleek black battle suit with a hood on her head that hid her face choked the throat of the man at her mercy with her black boots.
The man was wearing a white mask with strange lines on it but his eyes glowed blood red in the darkness of the night and spoke with a frightful tone…
"N..now why would i tell you th–"
Before he could even finish the woman swung her two sickles chained to her wrists…
"Now then nex–"
She turned around only to find that everyone present was already dead.
Sigh
She sighed and thought as she sat down on the corpses of these scums in a tired manner…
(Damn it, I've been doing this for days now without rest, ah Shino why did i have to do this?)
It was Tina who ran away as she exited the dungeon, before she even thought of her next task assigned by Shino she fell asleep, looks like days of fatigue finally caught up with her.

The moon went down and the sun came up, light shone on the corpses and in those corpses laid their predator.
Yawn
Tina woke up from the light striking her eyes. Her original smooth curly hair looked like prickly thorns from all that blood she slept in…
(Ugh, ouch my neck)
She rubbed her eyes and left the building.
.....
She moved in the shadows to avoid attention and look for a water source to clean…
"Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm"
After a while of searching she finally found a middle aged man wearing headphones with a water pipe in a garden, she moved in and tapped him on the shoulder…
"Hmm"
He looked back and nearly shat his pants…
"Aaaaaa, a monster"
Tina blinked in confusion and thought…
(Surely, it's not "that" bad)
Tina ignored her thoughts and picked up the pipe and poured water on her head, as the water flowed the blood soaked hair turned from thorns to her original smooth curls.
After cleaning up, she entered the shadows and stole a cup of coffee, sandwich and a bunch of donuts. After eating, Tina pulled out a map that showed Shino leaving markers on buildings occupied by demonic humans, the markers were crossed with a red pen and she crossed one more now only one place was left to check..
"Last one huh"
She upped and left for the last location.
...….
After running for hours she finally arrived at the place marked in the map and unlike other locations which consisted of abandoned factories and other facilities this time it was a fully normal apartment complex.
She entered the shadows and moved at incredible speed while sensing demonic human, quite frankly it only had humans except for one room, she entered the room through the shadows and came out from it prepared with her sickles but fortunately the demonic human was in the shower, she turned towards the shower to kill him but the white envelope on the table caught her attention.
She moved towards the table and picked up the envelope, the envelope was sealed with red wax but since it was unsealed it didn't clearly show the insignia on it, she then heard the demonic human finishing up and left.
She didn't exactly read what was inside the envelope but she did remember something, she repeated these words as she sat on the edge of the rooftop of the apartment complex…
"Count Servio...tomorrow 8:30pm...Hilton Top"
She left after relaxing for a while.

Servio's mansion, Hilton Top, 8:15pm
A shit ton of people suddenly stormed the road to the mansion as they arrived the servants greeted them with respect as they entered.
8:25pm
Most people had already arrived, some were dancing, some were eating, some were planning, while some were discussing politics.
8:30pm
The guards closed the wooden gate then the count came and gave a long ass speech about unification or whatnot and then returned to his office.
8:50pm
Knock, knock
The guards heard the knocks and called the servant that had the guest list and asked…
"Hey, is there someone on the list that hasn't arrived yet?"
The servant answered…
"No, everyone has already arrived"
Then the guard said silently…
"Who do you think it is?"
The guard gripped his gun tightly, the servant thought for a moment then said…
"It could be an enemy although that is highly unlikely" the servant snickered "i mean like who do they take Count Servio take for"
The guard agreed and relaxed as he proceeded to open the gate…
"Wait, wait, wait"
The guard glanced back and said…
"Now what?"
The servant fixed his attire, positioned himself correctly, and closed his eyes as he plastered a wide smile on his face, the guard then proceeded to open the door.
Creak
The door but the one at the door wasn't a guest, it was a petite woman with pink curly hair in a black sleek battle suit holding a rifle twice her size and she spoke with a vicious tone…
"EVENING, BITCHES"
BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG,BRRERDRR
AAAAAAGH
She blasted the head of everyone present and those who dodged were strangled to death by their own shadow, after everyone in the luxurious hall of the mansion she found herself on the second floor in front of Servio's office.
She threw the rifle to the side and busted the door open with a kick…
"Welcome reaper, I've been waiting"
Tina asked with a confused tone…
"Me, reaper?"
The count had short combed black hair with some white in it and had ghostly pale skin with blood red eyes and said with a polite tone…
"Yes, you are the reaper, did you not kill every single one of my brethren?"
Tina's expression became serious and said…
"You mean SCUM?"
The count sighed as he conjured arrows from his blood and said…
"Quite frankly I don't care what you think of us but i will have to disappoint you that this is as far as you can go"
Tina summoned her sickles and said…
"A Vampire huh"
The count boasted…
"Yes, as you can see I'm immo–"
Before he could finish Tina threw her sickle at him, the sickle spun in the air and entered his skull through the forehead, the count still had the confidence in his immortality then suddenly black shadowy flames erupted from the wound and encompassed his body.
AAAAAAAGH
The count screamed and knelt in pain, Tina moved in on him and said…
"Sorry bitch, but the immortality thing doesn't work when I'm around"
The count screamed in agony and ultimately died not even leaving his ashes behind, Tina looked through things and found what she was looking for she burned the mansion to the ground and escaped.
She watched from a tree far away from the mansion as the authorities came to the burning mansion, she clenched her right fist and moved it closer to her mouth as she did that a red glowing magic circle appeared on it…
"Status Report: Pest Extermination complete."
