Ayanokouji POV
The sports festival has finally begun and so far, both Red and White team are neck and neck, of course that's in part of the fact that Kei and Suzaku are dominating the individual events like it was nothing. They're both equally impressive physically I have to admit, they would make great rivals. They are the current aces of their respective teams.
Even though the rest of the classes have pretty good athletes like Sudo from Class D who has been motivating the rest of the class, Hashimoto from Class A who I've heard from Light was pretty good at tennis and surprisingly played a game with him before. On the other side, the best one in Class C on the male side is Albert while the female side has Ibuki. Class B according to Kei's info was Shibata.
Things are even so far given that most of the teams got carried by Class S' best athletes like Karma, Kei, Suzaku, Kaguya, and Tatsuya. I know it's ridiculous, but it is true. Which is why the points are very even with red team having 430 points to white team's 425 points.
I looked around as I noticed a girl walking towards me, ohh it's just Karuizawa.
"Hey! looks like our team is doing pretty well huh?" she said
"Yeah, even with Sudo as Class D's best athlete, your class has a lot of good athletes." she added
"Thanks, I guess. Anyways I want to discuss something with you later"
"Wait really? fine just tell me when Kiyotaka" she said
"Hold on, when did you start calling me by my first name?" I asked
"Ohh it's natural since I did call Hirata by his first name when he was protecting me so I think I should do the same with you" she explained
"Hey!"
"huh?" we both looked at the person who spoke and it was Yuuichi who just finished the three-legged race earlier with Ryuzaki and got 2nd place.
"What's going on here? don't tell she's going to spy on us?" he said as he looked at Karuizawa
"N-no you got it wrong. I mean Kiyotaka promised me to protect me after all so since I'm on his side that means I'm also on your side too"
"Besides I heard that Manabe and her friends were suddenly afraid of you whenever someone mentions your name in front of them. Did you do something to them?" she asked
"Yeah, I did, you could say that they kinda treat me like a king since then" he replied
"ohh, okay I'll be heading back now" she said as she walks away
"Kiyotaka"
"hmm? Sora?"
"That Karuizawa girl, I bet she likes you" he said while smirking
"What makes you say that?"
"Well, Shiro and I did some investigating, and it seems you two quite close. Don't tell me you're holding out on us?" he asked
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said as I heard Yuuichi chuckled
"Yeah, I thought you're using her not date her" Yuuichi said teasingly
"Haha good one Yuuichi" Sora started laughing
"I don't get what's funny"
"Seriously? have you ever even laughed before?" Sora asked
"I don't think I ever did" I replied
"Alright then once this is over, Karma and I are gonna come up with the funniest jokes known to man and WE will make you laugh Kiyotaka" when did we turn this into a try not to laugh challenge all of a sudden. Either way I ignored most of it in the end.
"Hey where is he!?" I heard a loud voice, and it was Sudo. It looks like he's trying to find someone.
"Seriously first Koenji wouldn't bother joining now the other guy is gone too?" Sudo said
"Don't worry Sudo-kun, I'll find him." Kushida said as she ran off somewhere
Understandable that Koenji wouldn't willingly join given his attitude but the other guy, could it be Daigo? I'll deal with it later.
Right now, the next event of the sports festival has begun, and it is the Pole toppling event for the first-year boys. The defender on red team is Class A with Katsuragi being in charge while white team's defenders are Class B lead by Kanzaki and Hikigaya. So, he did take my advice somewhat. Red team's attackers are Class D as well as a mix of the chosen Class S students being Miyuki, Tatsuya and Suzaku while White team's attackers are Class C with Class S mixed with them consisting of Kazuto, Karma, and Light. Now in terms of strength, I think just from the white team, Class C alone has the advantage with Albert but there's also Karma from our class but on the red side, Class D has Sudo, but I don't think someone like him can't overpower Albert or Karma but with Suzaku and Tatsuya, it will be an even match.
Sudo tries to use brute force to break through defense, but he was immediately stopped by Class B all the while Suzaku and Tatsuya effortlessly pass-through Class B's defense however what they didn't notice is that Karma used Albert's back and used it as a launching pad to jump and he kicked the pole with all his strength knocking it down. Both Suzaku and Tatsuya were caught off guard by this sudden strategy Karma used to knock down the pole. From there white team took the victory.
"You two are fast, I'll give you that but there is more than one way to win you know" Karma said as he casually walked towards me.
"What do you think Kiyotaka?" He asked sounding as confident as ever.
"It was impressive but how did you convince Albert to let you do that?" I asked
"I mean you know he speaks English, right?"
"Yeah, actually I did learn a bit of English from a certain someone but there's no time for me to tell that story" (A/N: I'm sure you can guess who he's referring to. You know the only one from Class E to get high scores in English)
Aside from the shocking win, I noticed that Sudo got beat up back there and Ryuen was looking down on him.
"kuku, what's wrong?"
"Hey! that should've been a foul there" Sudo shouted
"Sorry, I didn't know you were there" Ryuen said as he left.
Class D went to calm him down a bit but to no avail. Either way the event continues as now I joined in as well. I went through the obstacle course race event for the males like it was nothing, earning 1st place in the process. On the female side, Horikita was also in the obstacle course event and she's currently racing Kaguya who were neck and neck, but I noticed that Horikita was suddenly looking back and forth until she collided with Kinoshita from Class C which led to Kaguya getting first place for the white team and Horikita was in 7th. She was limping after that collision, must've hurt her leg from the fall. I heard her explain to the rest that Kinoshita was calling her name which distracted her and causing this "accident".
Next event was the women's cavalry battle where Class C where intentionally gang up on Horikita while Class A didn't help for some reason while Yumeko and Shiro didn't help since it seems that they know what Class C was up to. Ryuen must've set this up. On the boy's side, Yuuichi, Suzaku, and I prepared to go on the full offensive, but we let Class D take the charge first with Hirata, Sudo, and Akito being the ones to charge in. Actually, it was Suzaku's. So that Class A can pincer with us to break through but we noticed that Ryuen was provoking Sudo which prompted him to go in recklessly colliding with Ryuen causing Ryuen to take advantage and took the headband from Hirata.
Sudo was clearly pissed by this and wanted to stomp his way to Class C for their foul play, but Hirata tried to stop him, but Sudo argued back and even punched Hirata in the process. Seriously this is really troublesome.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Yuuichi arrived to check on him
"It's okay Katagiri-kun, I'm fine" Hirata said
"Listen we don't need you to screw around any further, if you wanna win then calm the f*** down!" Yuuichi said
"Don't tell me what to do!" Sudo said in anger
"Stop, we shouldn't fight at a time like this" Miyuki joins in trying to break this fight.
"You big idiot, I want you to listen and listen carefully" Yuuichi said as he walked towards Sudo who was fuming.
"If you don't stop now, you'll make it worse for the rest of us, and we don't intend to lose"
"Yeah, you wanna go to-"
"Don't even think about it" the atmosphere has changed again, and I can tell we're about to see this version of Yuuichi again.
"If you're going use your fists to solve your problems then how about I cut them off right now and see how you like it" Yuuichi's tone change to that of a psychopath like before. This is not good.
"What kind of nonsense are you on abo..." Sudo suddenly went from angry to uncomfortable upon hearing Yuuichi's laugh and making a demonic face
"It's better for you to calm down Sudo, I mean it" even the hot-tempered Sudo became frightened by Yuuichi's change in demeanor just like before.
"Alright, geez I'm outta here" he said while walking away.
I saw Yuuichi suddenly looked back at me while I also looked at some of the Class D students that were there. They looked scared as well, probably PTSD.
"Well, that should tame the guy for a bit" he said reverting back to his nice guy self.
"*sigh*" I looked around again, the rest of Class S weren't bothered by the situation aside from Yuuichi becoming a different person but either way I walked to where Horikita is.
*The competition will resume in the afternoon after a 50-minute lunch break*
"What do you want?" Horikita said
"If you want me to bring Sudo back, that's not going to happen plus you have your own class to deal with remember?" she added
"Then why did you ask if you know already?" I asked
"Seriously I don't understand why you're helping my class when you should be helping your own"
"I already told you; it would not be interesting for me or Class S if any of you don't put up a fight." I spoke
"If you don't bring your "ace" back, then not only that you'll lose but our class will also lose as well."
"What's that matter to you? you already have more points than Class A at this point so why are you helping me?" she asked sounding irritated
"Don't you get it, compared to any of you from Class S. I'm in no condition. Class D is in last place right now and I don't think it would be possible to turn it around." she said. This girl is really pathetic sometimes, but I'm not going to throw her away just yet.
"How long are you planning to be useless?"
"Huh?! what are you saying?"
"You know what I mean. Besides I don't intend on holding back but if you hold us back, then you are useless" I said with a cold tone
"That's unpleasant coming from you. I'm more useful than those idiots" she retorted
"But I can't help that this unfortunate accident just now..."
""Unfortunate you say?"
"You really think your injury as well as Class D's predicament are coincidences?" I asked
"What do you mean? It's obvious that Ryuen is playing tricks with us."
"What should I even do?"
As much as I want to crush Horikita's dreams here and now however since we are on the same team in this particular situation. I have to at least give my assistance.
"Find yourself a weapon you can use" I replied
"Weapon?"
"That's right, it is worthless if you fight alone but I told you before that you need allies and so far, you have failed to find one even though that ally is already right there."
"There is a limit to working alone, and you can't do anything on your own" I added
"That's..."
"Horikita, I'm giving you a chance to prove that you can beat us. So, I want you to find a way to overcome your own weakness"
"My weakness..." she said
"Sudo Ken is your weapon to overcome that weakness." I spoke
"So, what will you do now? I asked
Horikita was silent and couldn't answer back but that's fine.
"I'll leave you at that, you'll need to figure out the rest yourself" I said as I left her

It was break time and I'm with Yuuichi, Kei, and Karma. We were discussing how things went for each of our teams.
"Ha! did you see the look on that guy's face when I ran past him so easily? haha" Kei laughed as he was telling us what happened at the 100-meter dash event.
"Yeah, you are quite fast Kei-kun, I'll give you that" Karma said
As I was looking at the rest of the Class S, they were also discussing how it went for them. Light was with Ryuzaki, Lelouch and Suzaku. Tatsuya is with Akise, Kazuto, and Asuna. Houtarou was lying down somewhere. Yumeko, Kaguya, and Miyuki are hanging out and Sora and Shiro are playing video games as usual but they're with Nanami-senpai? I guess given that they both have the same interest in video games it would make sense for them to be friends but when did this friendship come from?
"Hey Kiyotaka"
"Karuizawa right? what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be with the "boyfriend" of yours?" Kei asked teasingly
"Come on now, can you let me in sometimes, besides your class did help me after all right Shinomiya-kun?" she asked
"Yeah whatever" he said
"Anyways aren't you going to tell me about that traitor?" she asked as Yuuichi, Kei, and Karma looked at her with puzzled looks.
"Traitor?" Karma asked
"I thought the traitor was the mastermind?" Kei said
"Huh? you know something Shinomiya-kun?"
"No"
"Sorry I can't tell you" I said
"Huh? why?"
"Karuizawa, I want you to tell Hirata and Horikita about this. Understood?" I spoke
"Understood, but wait where is Horikita-san? I don't think anyone from our class saw her"
"Let her be, she's only doing what she only she can do" I replied
