Shirogane POV
I made my way to the student councils office to finally decide to join the student council. Although my only big hurdle as of now is Nagumo but I hope he can trust me enough so I can join. Kiyotaka-san and Kaguya are counting on me to give them the information I can provide on the student council.
I took a few breathes before going into the room. I opened the door and I saw Nagumo currently doing some paperwork it seems.
"Nagumo-senpai"
"Ohh I wasn't expecting any visitors." He spoke
"Who are you?"
"Ohh right, I'm Shirogane Miyuki from Class 1-S. Nice to meet you" I bowed but at the same time I feel a bit nervous coming face to face with an enemy.
"Class S?" he asked with intrigue as I raised my head.
"That's right"
"I see now, I've heard of you Mr. Shirogane. I read your files; you were formerly a member of the student council in your previous school. To be more precise, its student council president, yes?" He asked
"That's correct Mr. president" I said. I can hear Nagumo chuckling to himself
"I have to admit, your work ethic is interesting I'll give you that and the fact that you had the luxury to be placed in a special class rather being in Class A and even surpassing them is quite impressive." Nagumo said
"Well, thank you. It's all in the hard work they say"
"Hard work, yes that's what everyone says. But tell me this, what is this school built upon?" he asked
"What do you mean?"
"Well, in a school as prestigious as ANHS, you can understand how things work here right?"
"That's right."
"Good, but in a school like this. Hard work isn't the only way to get by. You have to be recognized by your superior talents, prove that you are willing to do whatever it takes to stay on top" Nagumo explained
"I can tell you have potential, Shirogane. In fact you can be the most successful student in this entire school if you have a ruthless mindset of course"
"What are you trying to say?" I asked
"Let me answer the question I just gave you. This school is built upon meritocracy. I'm sure you already know that right?"
"I-I do"
"And you have the talent to meet these high standards. I can tell, you're not just here to say hello. You're here to apply for the student council, correct?"
"Yes, I do. I want to be part of it even if I'm not the president like in my previous school" I said as Nagumo suddenly smirked
"Well then, since you are from Class S and given how you are in a very well performing class. I'll let you in."
"Wait really?!" That was easy
"Of course, under one condition." he said
"What condition, are you planning to trick me?" I asked
"No, no, there are no tricks. My hands are clean"
"I know you're an honest man, but we already know what dirty trick you pulled back at the camping trip. So don't try anything to pull one on me" I said
"hahahahah, you really think I'm playing dirty? All I did was follow the rules. Tachibana-senpai got into an unfortunate situation that's all. Although it does infuriate me that somehow, they still maintained private points and had their class points kept safe even when they saved Tachibana-senpai" crap does he know about what Sora-san and the rest did?
"I'm sure you and this class of yours had nothing to do with this right?" he asked me as his face is now close to mine.
"Of course not, I mean we are a top class, but we don't care about the other classes" I lied
"Well then, I'll tell you, my condition. Give me info on all of the Class S students and I won't consider targeting any of you in the future or else" he said now glaring at me
"Or else what?" I asked and he went close to my ear and whispered
"Then I might just expel your girlfriend"
"What!? you can't do that!! Leave Kaguya out of this!" I shouted
"haha, I knew you would say stuff like this, but this is your opportunity. You want to be part of the student council, right? Regain the glory that you once had back in your previous school. Don't you want to be president when my term is over?"
"President?"
"That's right, you do everything I ask of you and if you do it successfully, I'll even personally choose you to be the next Student council president"
I can't believe it; it feels too good to be true. I shook my head saying no I can't sell out my own friends and my girlfriend. But Kiyotaka and Kaguya want me to be in the student council to get info. What should I do? I want to join the student council but at the same time, I can't get manipulated by him. I guess I'll just ask Kiyotaka-san or Yuuichi-san for help if I need it.
"Alright, I'm in"
"Good" I can see Nagumo form a wide grin
"Well then by tomorrow you are officially part of the student council. Of course, there are a few paperwork's you need to do tomorrow once you are in"
"Understood"
"Well, you are now dismissed" he said as I left the office.
I was already out of the office. Now I just have to contemplate on what I need to do. Nagumo is willing to even expel Kaguya if I don't do what he says. This is going to be tougher that I thought but just before walked a girl suddenly bumped into me. When I looked it was that short girl from before. I think her name was Nanami Chiaki I believe.
"Are you okay?" I asked
"I apologize, I was too fixated to my game again" she said
"That's fine"
"Hey, you're Shirogane Miyuki from Class S, right?"
"That's right"
"You were here to apply for the student council, aren't you?"
"Well yes, I did already apply so I'm going to be an official member tomorrow" I replied
"I see, but let me warn you about something" she said
"Warn me about what?"
"You're playing a dangerous game here, a game that has the highest difficulty imaginable"
"What do you mean?"
"Miyabi is an honest man but don't trust him and don't give in to his threats."
"I know, that's why I need Kiyotaka-san to help me"
"Good, because you're going to need all the help you can get."
"Because I'm not allowing him to expel anyone"

Ayanokouji POV
It was morning and I somehow woke up late. But that's not my concern right now so Immediately got up, brushed my teeth as quickly as possible and left as soon as I had my uniform on.
On my way to school, I noticed that Tatsuya is receiving gifts from the girls. Ohh I almost forgot that it was Valentine's Day already. Time does fly really fast. Anyways I continue my walk and I saw Light having a conversation with Nishikawa from Class A. Wait a second is Light dating someone already? Well, she is a smart girl herself, so I guess it makes sense. Hopefully this could lead to Light allowing her to give him info on Sakayanagi.
I also saw Karma being followed by girls from the 2nd year and giving him chocolates. Aru is hanging out with Fukuyama. What's with these Class A girl's being attracted to the men from Class S?
Looks like I also saw Suzaku hanging out with a Class D girl, and it was Nishino. Well given how he's physically strong and handsome. I guess someone would have a crush on him eventually. Lelouch also has girls following him and even giving him gifts. I guess Class S really is that popular huh.
Anyways I made it to school, and I saw Sora and Shiro along with Nanami-senpai giving each other gifts. I think Sora gave Nanami-senpai a new gaming console in which Nanami-senpai did the same. Sora also gave Shiro a gift which looked like a PS5. They really love their video games don't they.
I continued my walk and I saw Kazuto giving Asuna a necklace as a gift, well that's perfectly normal. I also saw Miyuki doing the same with Kaguya. Yumeko was also being given gifts by the boys from the other classes and even someone from Class B gave a gift to Ryuzaki. To be honest I am a bit jealous that everyone in Class S is having fun on Valentine's while I haven't even experienced such a thing that is until my phone rang and it was from Karuizawa. She wants me to meet her later after class.
I arrived at the classroom and Houtarou was already there along with Yuuichi and Kei.
"Hey Kiyotaka-san" Kei greeted me
"Hey"
"Have you received any gifts?" Kei asked
"I don't think so" I replied
"Well surprisingly Yuuichi-kun got a gift from someone"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, it's kinda weird. A girl from the 2nd year just gave me chocolates and she said that I'm cute" Yuuichi said1
"Wow that's unusual coming from you" Houtarou said
"Yeah, it's rare seeing Yuuichi-kun being given gifts on valentines." Kei said
"Well actually there's this one time that Shiho gave me chocolates, I told her that she shouldn't waste money on me, but I had no choice and accepted it"
"Ohh another piece of your past that you haven't talked to me about yet Yuuichi-kun?" Kei asked
"Anyways I didn't get a gift, but I decided to randomly just give someone a valentines gift to the nearest person for fun and I ended up giving a gift to Yamamura from Class A" Kei said
"She was shocked at first that someone would be willing to give her a gift, but she accepted it either way" he added
"So, the three of us didn't receive any gifts?" I asked
"Yeah, but I'm used to it" Houtarou said
"Don't worry Houtarou-san I can buy you one later as long as you buy me one as well"
"*sigh* fine"

It was the end of the class as I immediately left the classroom. I went to where Karuizawa wanted me to meet.
"You're here, took you long enough" she said
"So, what do you want?" I asked
"Ohh I just wanted to talk to you that's all" Karuizawa said as she slowly turns red?
"I see, so how's your studies?" I asked
"It's been fine, Hirata-kun and Horikita-san have been helping me out so at least there's progress" she replied
"I see"
"But can I ask you a favor?" she asked
"What is it?"
"Can you help me study? I mean you've been helping out Yukimura-kun and the rest for quite some time, so I'd like your help too" she said
"Sure, but you do remember what you still need to do right?"
"Of course, I'll continue to look into whatever Daigo-kun is planning" she replied
"Good"
"So..uggh...anyways here" she said as she handed me a box of chocolates.
"Is this for me?"
"Of course, it is silly"
"You do know that people might think we're dating if anyone saw us" I said
"Well, I-I...just pay me back later for it besides I ran into trouble buying these for you after all" she said
"Ohh is the king hunting for his prey?" a voice was heard, and it was Hashimoto who joins in
"What do you mean by that? and why did you call Kiyotaka "king"?" Karuizawa asked
"Hahaha, I mean look at you two. You both look like you're dating" he said
"No, we're not besides isn't this just a formality? anyone can give chocolates to anyone, crush or not on Valentine's" Karuizawa said
"Ohh sorry, I must've misunderstood" Hashimoto said while bowing as he suddenly pins her to the wall.
"Hey! what are you doing?!" she screamed
"You know since you and I are single since I heard that you broke up with Hirata recently. I think you and I could, hang out?" he said
Hashimoto is trying to provoke me obviously, but I ignored it and left as I saw Karuizawa doing the same.
When I went back to my room. I saw multiple chocolates in my bed. This was surprising. I thought that I wouldn't be given gifts aside from Karuizawa but I was wrong. The list of people that gave me gifts that was present were from:
1. Haruka
2. Airi
3. Hiyori
4. Matsushita
5. Nanami
To be honest, I am quite happy that there are people who would give me gifts today. But Matsushita was surprising. I don't know her too well aside from the info that Kaguya gave me, but it doesn't matter. Nanami-senpai even gave me a gift as well and it even had a Nintendo switch to go along with it. I told her I never played much video games, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.
