This is quite tough to describe how we ended up in a school full of elites of all places. I guess we both managed to make it here through sheer luck. Where to start? well, I think it pretty much started with this game we played, we got stuck in a VR game for like days maybe weeks, who knows since we spent so much time there that we lost track of time. Long story short we managed to make it out.
I got to meet her in real life, and we ended up dating. I was happy and she pretty much feels the same. I was the happiest guy in the world, well that's until I ended up suddenly getting expelled from my school because of my constant absences for multiple weeks. I couldn't believe it, I thought everything would go back to normal but damn. My life kinda sucks now but Asuna was there to help me regardless. It was tough finding a school since pretty much we had to straighten things up with our loved ones first especially my cousin. I wanted to make it up to her by trying to go to school again. She doubts it at first, but I want to prove that I can get a taste of the real world again and enjoying the normal life again, away from the Virtual world.
With that Asuna I came up with an idea, since she hasn't gone to school in a while as well and she even told me that even she got expelled despite her good work ethic there, I guess it's just a lucky coincidence that we both ended up in this situation. We both decided to go to the same school of our choice. We managed to find some part-time jobs which was tough if you're a high school student. But over an entire year or so, along with the savings from both of our parents. We got enough money to enroll in whatever school we choose.
Asuna suggested that we should find a school that we can somehow make it and that's when we noticed a school that really caught our interest. That school was Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High. It was a school that we never even heard of, and Asuna was interested, and we decided to look it up. It was a school like we never seen before. It truly was an advanced school as the name mentions. This is the school we wanted to go but the problem is that according to what we researched on the school; we pretty much have to stay there for the next 3 years. Asuna and I thought that we needed to discuss about this to our parents, so we did. I even asked my cousin if this was fine by me, she said I would end up not seeing her again. After a long talk, she did eventually support my decision to go to that school as long as I end up in college because of it since I did also mention to her that the school boasts a 100% college entry rate. So, she agreed.
Asuna also managed to ask permission from her parents and from there, we both enrolled at the same time and begin our new journey together.
We both made it, but we had to get through the entrance exams. Luckily before we entered. Asuna and I studied a lot, and I mean a lot before going to a school as prestigious as this. It was a painful experience to constantly study every day before enrolling but it was worth it. We were lucky to get high scores on our test and even did well in our interviews. We both made it, and we were so proud of ourselves. Not just that to our surprise, we ended up in a special class called Class S. I thought we would end up being placed in separate classes based on our performance and even our background (aside from the being stuck in SAO part), we somehow made it to this class. Asuna and I were pretty surprised to even be placed in a special class. I don't consider myself an elite along with Asuna, but I guess ever since we managed to escape SAO. Luck has been on our side ever since and we made it into a great school.
From there the rest was history. We're still dating to this day. I met a lot of interesting people like Tatsuya since he pretty much shares the same interest in technology as I do, and Asuna has been pretty popular among the first years, well mostly the boys so I kinda had to protect her on a daily basis especially the perverts. We made new friends and I'm glad. That we both decided to finally enjoy having a normal life for once. I was a beta, and now I think have the potential to be an elite if I can progress my studies and even started training self-defense and kendo again since I can't do the crazy stuff I do in SAO. I'm just glad that my challenge in life doesn't have to do with magic or monsters anymore. My....our real challenge now. Is real life
