How long was I unconscious? The moment my senses returned, the first thing I did was inspect the spiritual power coursing through my frame.
"It's surged incredibly!"
The spiritual energy vibrating in my body was incomparable to before; I'd estimate a five-fold increase at the very least. Not only that, but my physical size had ballooned. It seemed I'd evolved into a Huge Hollow. If you're wondering how I know I grew without a mirror—the world looks different when your eye level has shifted that much higher.
"Good! The plan went sideways, but since I've reached the level of a Huge Hollow, it's time to move on to the next phase."
Unlike my original scavaging scheme, I didn't get to feast on two full Adjuchas, but the scraps of flesh left behind provided enough Reishi to push me into this 'Huge Hollow' state. It was time to get moving again. This time, I wasn't looking for high-level predators like Adjuchas; I needed to find a hunting ground filled with basic Hollows and other Huge Hollows like myself.
"Nice! My Reiatsu has spiked, and the range of my spiritual sensing has expanded even further!"
The growth from just one scrap of an Adjuchas was staggering. Beyond the raw increase in spiritual power, my ability to detect Reiatsu had evolved, and my physical stats were through the roof. More importantly, that gnawing, bottomless hunger had vanished. Thanks to that Adjuchas meat, a heavy sense of satiety lingered in my gut.
"Should I just keep hunting for Adjuchas scraps?"
It was a tempting path. If I kept cannibalizing Adjuchas-class remains, wouldn't I eventually reach that rank myself? And if I could find a way to devour two of them whole instead of just picking at the leftovers, it would be a miracle of growth.
"No, it's too risky. That Adjuchas let me be because I was insignificant, but given the typical Hollow temperament, I can't expect to be that lucky twice."
Ultimately, I had to scrap the Adjuchas-hunting plan—it was too much of a gamble. That left my original strategy. The goal: evolve into a Menos Grande.
"God said it himself—as long as I grow steadily, reaching Vasto Lorde is a given. To become a Menos Grande here, hundreds of Hollows and Huge Hollows have to cluster together. To become an Adjuchas from that state, one of those hundreds must retain its individual ego, take control of the collective consciousness, and then begin cannibalizing other Menos Grande to evolve. Since I'm a reincarnator, my sense of self is naturally stronger than any local monster. Just like God promised 'smooth growth,' I doubt I'll lose my mind even if I'm mixed in with hundreds of other souls. It's all just theory, but it's a risk worth taking."
Only a single day had passed since my reincarnation into this hellscape. Yet, I had already ascended to a Huge Hollow and was already eyeing the rank of Menos Grande. This was only possible because I possessed meta-knowledge of the Bleach universe. Had I been dropped here blind, I'd likely be just another nameless Hollow wandering Hueco Mundo until I was torn apart and digested by a scavenger.
"I will survive with everything I've been given! I'm going to become the strongest!"
The first milestone: Vasto Lorde-class Arrancar! Once I reached that pinnacle, nothing in Hueco Mundo could threaten my life. Beyond that, the only Soul Reapers capable of standing against me would be the Captains—the perfect, absolute tier of existence.
With a clear objective in mind, I began to move. I traversed the white wastes of Hueco Mundo, carefully masking my presence to avoid any Reiatsu far beyond my current pay grade while systematically hunting and devouring Hollows weaker than myself. After about a month of living this predatory lifestyle, wandering the sands in search of my next meal, I stumbled upon a truly incredible sight.
