--Military Intelligence Department--

Inside a dimly lit room, the sound of multiple footsteps echoed through the darkness.

Tick… tick… tick…

The figures slowly emerged from the shadows wearing military uniform, walking toward a man dressed in a white coat who stood silently in the center of the room.

Hearing the approaching footsteps, the man did not bother turning around. His eyes remained fixed on the file in his hands as he calmly continued reading through the documents.

After a brief moment, one of the figures stepped forward from the shadows and spoke in a serious tone.

"Morgan… did you find anything?"

The man did not turn back after hearing the question. Instead, he calmly continued reading the file in his hands as though the people behind him did not exist.

Judging by his appearance, the man was already in his fifties. His most noticeable feature was his thick silver hair that flowed neatly behind him, accompanied by a well-groomed beard and mustache of the same color. Combined with his sharp eyes and composed demeanor, the appearance had earned him a notorious nickname within intelligence circles—

"The Silver Fox."

And that man was none other than Morgan Lansdale, the mastermind and main antagonist behind the events of Resident Evil: Revelations.

Currently serving as a general within the Military Intelligence Department, Morgan silently observed the classified report resting in his hands.

A file containing every known detail about Leon S. Kennedy.

After receiving no response, the man behind him began to lose patience. His expression darkened slightly as irritation crept into his voice.

"General Morgan," he said again, this time in a colder tone, "did you find anything?"

He paused briefly before continuing.

"The President and the Parliament are demanding answers as soon as possible."

Hearing those words, Morgan finally looked back slightly, though his eyes never fully left the file in his hands as he continued reading through the documents.

"Sorry, Mr. Steward," he said calmly. "At the moment, I have been unable to uncover anything related to the source of his powers."

He slowly turned another page before continuing in a composed voice.

"However, there is no need to worry. I will eventually uncover everything."

A faint smile appeared beneath his silver beard.

"Just give me some time."

Hearing Morgan's response, the man named Stewart let out a deep sigh before speaking once more.

"I know, Mr. Morgan," he said in a tired voice. "That is precisely why the government entrusted this entire matter to you."

Stewart's expression gradually darkened as he continued.

"Right now, Leon is practically holding the government in the palm of his hand, and we are unable to take any direct action against him."

The atmosphere inside the room became heavier.

"After the recent incident involving the complete annihilation of that military unit, the government has become increasingly impatient. However, no one dares to move against him openly."

Stewart clenched his fists slightly.

"He possesses far too many classified secrets and enough evidence to expose countless hidden crimes committed by the government."

A brief silence followed before he spoke again in a lower tone.

"And after what happened to the previous politicians who tried to oppose him… the current administration is terrified of suffering the same fate."

Hearing Stewart's concerns, Morgan slowly nodded his head before responding in a calm and composed voice.

"Do not worry, Mr. Stewart. I fully understand the current situation."

He calmly closed part of the file before continuing.

"And trust me, I have no intention of making any reckless moves openly. Not until I uncover the complete truth behind Leon's abilities."

Morgan's sharp eyes narrowed slightly.

"Sooner or later, I will discover every secret connected to the source of his power."

A faint smile appeared across his face as he continued speaking.

"And if possible… I intend to use that power for the benefit of both the military and the government."

The room instantly became silent.

"Imagine it, Mr. Stewart. An army composed of super soldiers possessing abilities similar to Leon's."

Morgan slowly lifted the file containing Leon's information.

"And even if we fail to uncover the source directly…"

His voice became colder.

"Then we will simply obtain samples of his blood… or perhaps even his DNA."

Hearing Morgan's words, Stewart slowly smiled in satisfaction.

"That is exactly what the government hopes for as well, Mr. Morgan," he said happily. "I truly hope you succeed."

A few moments later, Stewart suddenly pulled out his watch and checked the time. His expression immediately changed slightly.

"My apologies, Mr. Morgan," he said while putting the watch away. "Duty calls. I have another meeting waiting for me."

Morgan simply nodded calmly.

"Do not worry, Mr. Stewart. You may leave. I will handle everything from here."

Stewart gave one final nod before turning around and walking toward the exit without another word. Soon, the sound of his footsteps gradually disappeared into the darkness outside the room.

The moment the door fully closed, the calm expression on Morgan's face slowly vanished.

Creak—

Morgan tightly clenched his fist while staring down at Leon's file with cold, calculating eyes.

"Soon…" he muttered quietly.

"Soon, I will uncover every secret connected to you, Mr. Leon."

His grip tightened even further.

"The truth behind your powers… the source of your strength… all of it will belong to me."

A dark smile slowly appeared beneath his silver beard.

"And once I obtain that power…"

Morgan's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"I will build my own army."

The dim room fell silent for a moment before his final words echoed softly through the darkness.

"Soon… the entire world will remember the name Morgan Lansdale."

-- Leon's villa--

Several months had passed since that incident.

Ever since Leon's secrets had been exposed to the public, the entire media industry and even the government had been relentlessly pressuring him from every direction. News channels constantly spoke about him, politicians demanded investigations, and countless rumors spread across the country like wildfire.

Throughout all of it, Emma had been the one handling everything from the shadows.

From negotiating with government officials to calming down the media, she had done everything possible to ensure the situation never spiraled out of control. She carefully managed every statement released to the public, making sure nobody crossed the line or pushed the government into openly acting against Leon.

The pressure had become unbearable.

Taking a deep sigh, Emma slowly walked inside the massive villa.

The moment she entered, several caretakers immediately approached her.

"Miss Emma," one of them spoke worriedly, "could you please call Mr. Leon from his room? He still hasn't come out."

"Breakfast is ready, but he refuses to eat anything."

Hearing this, Emma quietly nodded her head.

However, sadness still lingered deep within her eyes.

Ever since Julia's death, nothing had been the same anymore.

Only a few days after her funeral, Leon completely isolated himself inside his room. Since then, he rarely came outside. Most of his time was spent alone, drinking alcohol endlessly while staring at old photographs of Julia for hours in complete silence.

Deep inside, Leon blamed himself for her death.

Even though he never openly expressed his emotions, Emma could clearly see the changes happening within him.

Day by day, Leon had become colder.

Quieter.

More distant.

The smile that once existed on his face had completely disappeared.

And behind those emotionless eyes…

Was a man slowly drowning in guilt and depression.

At the same time, Emma slowly walked toward the second floor of the villa before finally stopping in front of Leon's room.

Creak—

She slowly opened the door and stepped inside.

The room was completely dark.

Not a single light was turned on.

The curtains were tightly closed, preventing even the sunlight from entering the room. The atmosphere felt cold, lifeless, and suffocating.

In the far corner of the room sat Leon.

His back rested silently against the wall while countless empty alcohol bottles were scattered around him. In one hand, he loosely held a bottle of alcohol, while in the other, he tightly gripped a framed photograph of Julia.

His late lover.

The only woman capable of bringing warmth into his cold life.

Taking a deep sigh, Emma slowly walked toward him.

Her eyes filled with sadness the moment she saw his condition.

"Master Leon…" she spoke softly.

"You need to come out of this."

Leon remained silent.

"It has already been months since that incident."

Emma slowly lowered herself beside him.

"I know losing Julia destroyed you… but drowning yourself like this won't change anything."

Her voice became gentler.

"You need to move forward now, master Leon."

"This emptiness… this darkness…"

She looked directly into his tired eyes.

"It's slowly destroying you."

Leon slightly opened his mouth as if he wanted to respond.

But no words came out.

Silence once again filled the dark room.

Seeing this, Emma took a deep breath before speaking once more.

"Leon… did you forget what Julia wished for before she died?"

This brightened a little light in Leon's eyes but stayed silent.

Emma's eyes slowly moved toward the photograph within his hands.

"Are you really going to abandon her final words?"

A trace of pain appeared within Emma's voice.

"She wanted you to live… not slowly destroy yourself in this darkness."

Leon was completely caught off guard by Emma's words.

For several moments, he remained silent while staring blankly at the ceiling above him. Then, slowly, he took a deep breath as though trying to calm the storm raging inside his heart.

"I think you're right, Emma," he finally replied in a tired voice.

A faint trace of pain lingered behind his eyes.

"In my grief… I completely forgot Julia's final wish."

Leon lowered his gaze toward the photograph in his hand.

"She wanted me to keep moving forward…"

Before he could continue speaking, the sound of a phone ringing suddenly echoed throughout the dark room.

Ring… Ring… Ring…

Emma quickly pulled out her phone and glanced at the screen before looking back at Leon.

"I think it's a call from Julia's Orphanage," she said softly. "The one you named after her."

She hesitated for a brief moment before asking,

"Should I answer it first?"

Leon remained silent for a few seconds before giving a small nod.

"Yeah you should."

Emma quietly nodded before answering the call.

The moment she placed the phone near her ear, a terrified and panicked voice immediately echoed from the other side.

"Miss Emma! It's bad!"

The voice sounded desperate, almost on the verge of breaking.

"The orphanage has been attacked by armed robbers! It looks like they were fleeing from the police, and they stormed into the orphanage to take hostages!"

Loud noises and frightened screams could be heard faintly in the background.

"They attacked the staff and children badly! What should we do?!"

Hearing those words, Emma's face instantly turned pale.

Her hand holding the phone trembled slightly.

She knew exactly what this situation meant.

Julia's Orphanage…

The very place Leon built to honor Julia's memory…

Had become a battlefield.

And unfortunately—

Leon had heard every single word.

Fear immediately appeared on Emma's face.

She already knew what Leon was thinking.

If he decided to personally intervene, then things could spiral completely out of control.

"Leon, please calm down first—"

Emma tried to persuade him, but before she could finish speaking, Leon suddenly stood up from the corner of the room.

The darkness surrounding him only made his expression appear even colder.

"Emma," Leon said calmly.

Yet the ruthless tone hidden beneath his voice sent chills through the room.

"Ask them if everyone is safe."

His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Did they hurt any of the children… or the staff?"

The bottle in his hand slowly cracked slightly from the pressure of his grip.

"And tell me exactly how many of them there are."

Emma immediately tried to stop him.

"Leon, wait—"

But before she could finish speaking, Leon suddenly cut her off.

"No, Emma."

His voice was cold.

Ruthless.

Completely devoid of hesitation.

"You stay here and handle everything else."

Leon slowly stepped forward from the darkness of the room.

"I'll deal with them myself."

The moment those words left his mouth, Leon suddenly clenched his fist tightly.

Crack—

The alcohol bottle within his hand instantly shattered from the overwhelming pressure, fragments of glass scattering across the floor.

At the same time, an unbearable heat began spreading throughout the room.

Emma's eyes widened in shock.

Leon's body temperature was rapidly rising.

Dark smoke slowly emerged around him while burning magma-like cracks spread across his arm.

Then—

His eyes began glowing violently.

Molten magma slowly flowed from the corners of his eyes like burning lava.

The atmosphere itself trembled under the terrifying pressure surrounding him.

"These idiots…" Leon muttered coldly.

"They dared to attack Julia's orphanage…"

A terrifying killing intent exploded from his body.

"They're going to experience hell."

Leon slowly looked toward the darkness outside the window, his eyes burning like molten volcanoes.

His voice became frighteningly ruthless.

"I won't let a single one of them live."
