The Puppeteer wouldn't be unconscious for long; the odds of him waking grew with each passing second. Once he did, the resulting chaos would be unimaginable. Time had suddenly become precious, yet the three of them stood rooted to the spot, wasting several minutes instead of heading for Exodus.
"Aren't we going?" Silvan tilted his head, golden hair falling beside his emerald eyes. He looked like a confused puppy. "Didn't you want him to go?"
Lin Sanjiu gazed at his pale, gaunt, and peaceful face, surprised to find herself hesitating.
'He's peaceful now, but what will happen when he wakes up?'
"He... I'm worried he'll go berserk with rage when he wakes up..." she said, biting her fingertip with worry. Exodus was her home, after all; she had no desire to wake up one morning in a pile of rubble.
