Inferno was a hunting field. Vincent and the guards searched everywhere to find the source of the beam of light. Every angel in Mordin was scared. They feared what they did not know and were cautious. Meanwhile, outside the gate, inferno guards searched for their missing general. Peter, the general's top knight, walked with a fellow knight. "If we don't find her soon, we'll have to take matters into our own hands. We can't fail the king" he said. "Why should we keep searching, I mean, Crystella has already invaded the palace. I say we do something about it now or never" the knight said walking away from him. Peter thought of what he said, he had a point. But he's never acted on his own accord during a war, he needed Luna. Maybe, he thought, Luna would probably be disappointed for being sitting ducks waiting to be given an order under these circumstances. He then knew what to do. He got on top of a tall rock nearby. Everybody looked at him, with no idea of what he's doing. With a voice loud enough for the knights to hear, Peter shouted, "We've been searching for hours, and Crystella is inside the palace walls right now invading us. As knights, it is our first priority to protect our kingdom. If you were to ask Luna herself, she'd be disappointed we haven't done a single thing to protect Inferno. With or without our general, we must fight back and protect our angels!" They all gave Peter their attention and they cheered. "Who is willing to follow me into battle and fight back !?" he said as he raised his sword above him. With that, all the knights cheered. They were a few feet behind the gate and Crystella knights, who held them back, heard the commotion. Behind the gate, the knights saw them charging towards them and got into position to fight back. Miller meet Vincent back in his chambers, "It's best you come back and leave Inferno, There's nothing for us there," said Vincent. "What about the prince, we need to find him and protect him. As well as bring him back because he's the only heir to the throne and we need him to rule our kingdom. With the queen and king dead, only he can" Miller daid rather viciously. Vincent looked sadly at Miller, who calmed down his rage, "Forgive me, I understand how close and loyal you were to your majesties". "You were close to them too, Miller" Vincent sat on his chair. "Not as close as you were, my lord" Miller looked at him but Vincent looked down, "Edana will pay for what she's done," said Miller with rage filling up his voice again at the thought of knowing Edana killed the ling and queen, "I didn't find evidence of a fire angel in the queen and kings chambers" said Vincent, "how can it be her?" He said. Miller had a theory of why she would do it. "Well, because she knew we were going to capture her father and our knights at war was just a distraction for her to complete her true mission, after all, she wasn't in the war. Meaning that her plan all along was to murder the king and queen of Crystella," "Her father is captured?" Vincent stood up from his chair. "Yes, my lord" replied Miller, "And who gave that order?" "The prince" "Where is he captured?" asked Vincent, "He's at Inferno, being held by our knights until the prince appears and give us an order of what is to be done to the king" said Miller. "The prince, as well as Edana, are missing," said Vincent. "It appears so, Vincent" "The prince is not here. I command you to come back with her father" said Vincent demandly. "That's a start," said Miller, over the fact that everybody in Mordin was clueless without the royals. Except for the king of Inferno, king Brites. Miller left the room and Vincent needed to give someone a visit. He entered Winters chambers to give him the news. Winters was very old and weak, he laid in his bed resting as he always was. He was awake when Vincent approached him by the side of his bed, "Did I disturb you, your highness?" "I heard you come in, Vincent," he said in a faint voice. "I hope you are doing just fine" Vincent sat on the chair beside winter's bed. "I'll be alright," said winters. "How are you Vincent?" "That's what I came here to talk to you about" Vincent looked straight at Winter. "Your son and Allura have been murdered" Winters looked shocked and had trouble breathing. "Winters, it's alright" Vincent stood beside him helping him sit up. "Do you need some water?" "No, what I need is to see Lynx, where is my grandson?" "Lynx is missing" as well as Edana but Lynx captured her father" "Why did he do that for? Is Inferno falling apart?" Winters asked. "Because he believes she killed Anders and Allura. I didn't find the evidence" Vincent stood up and paced near his bed, "I plan to speak to her father and confirm if he knows anything about their death, after all, he coupd be helping her daughter. But for sure, he doesn't know where Lynx is" "How are you so sure about that?" "Because he was locked up moments before he disappeared" "Listen, Vincent, my son and Allura are dead, my grandson and Edana are missing, you should talk to king. As hand of the king, it's your duty to investigate what is happening between our kingdoms. Like yourself, I'm very sadenened this happened with the king and queen gone." Winter's accepted the fact the king and queen are in peace. He didn't shed a tear. He was old and knew everything has an end unless you keep them in your heart for eternity. "My Lord, I will find Lynx and I'll give it my all for the king and queen of Crystella. I will find answers" Vincent was confident, he wanted to find justice for Allura and Anders, find the Prince, talk with king Brites, and but everything together. He walked towards the door. "Vincent" Winter's called out. "Yes, my lord?" He asked. "The meds said I was too weak, and that I don't have much time left" Vincent stood beside him, knowing well of this. It made him sad. Winter's was like a second father to him. Ever since he became close to Anders when they were kids. "You're confident to say I'll succeed" said Vincent. "Because I know you're doing this for them, you have pure intentions, Vincent, and you never disappointed me unlike that dreadful day my son did" Vincent looked up at him. "What did Anders do?" He's never heard of anything dreadful Anders has done to Winter's. "I'm old, forgive my running mouth. You can head on now." Vincent stood up and walked towards the door, but stopped when he stood in front of it. He thought of what the king said, he didn't say it by mistake. Something was going on and he needed to know as much as he could so he can get to the bottom of it. He turned to look at Winter's his eyes were closed. He ran towards him and checked for a pulse. He felt his pulse and calmed himself. He left the room thinking about going back when he awakens. For now, he went to the dongeouns.
