Edana turned to see Lynx gone. She didn't take him as the type to run. He's been wanting her head for a long time. She knew she had to be more cautious about contacting Susan and Jhonny. With Lynx knowing her whereabouts, he'll be watching from a distance until the right time comes to strike. She needs to be close enough to Susan to protect her and find Lynx. She transformed into her human form and looked around the woods before walking away. Beyond the trees Lynx watched Edana walking away. He held his healing throat and said faintly, "Wendy". It got dark and the night was cold. Back at the apartment, Susan looked out the balcony. Jhonny came in the room, "Susan, I know you were trying to help Edana, but we can't risk our lives. We have children, besides Edana said Lynx is capable of anything" He sat next to her. "You're right, but Jhonny, I feel this connection towards her as if I know where she's coming from and I don't mean Mordin but I understand her" "Susan, your work-" he was cut off by her, "It's not because I'm a psychiatrist, it's different" "Listen, whatever it is, I understand you wouldn't risk your life on purpose, but we have to try for Delilah and Noah." he help her hand and she eld his back, "I'd do anything for them and you," she said looking at him in the eyes. "I would as well" he leaned in and kissed her. "I'll talk to Edana and let you know what's going to happen, Let's get some rest ok?" Susan nodded and they laid down together in bed. Edana sat on the roof of a tall building. She had a great view of Jhonny's apartment. She can protect them from there; as she also looks for Lynx. If he was smart, he'd also disguise himself as she did. He knows well that angels like me and him cannot be known for our own sake. For a moment, she decided to actually relax and close her eyes as she felt the cold breeze blowing on her face and felt her hair flowing. She'd forgotten how good a dark night feels like. Lynx knows about Susan. In order for her to protect them, she'd have to leave Earth, taking Lynx with her if she doesn't end up killing him here. After all, Jhonny helped her as much as he could, she came to do what she came here for, and it was her time to leave. "That's the plan I'm sticking with," she thought. She felt like something was wrong. She looked at the apartment, but there was nothing there. She looked down at the building and saw Lynx in human form. He wore a suit, his wings were hidden, and he looked up at the apartment complex. She took flight fast towards him and landed behind him at a good distance but close enough for him to hear her. She then transforms into her human form. "You're brave showing up here, Lynx, did you come to me so I can end you?" He chuckled, "You know why I'm here, you think I wouldn't know about who's helping you" he turned to face her. "Nobody is helping me" "You can stop pretending, I know about Jhonny and Susan, oh and I can't forget to mention the family they made together" Edana felt anger and she approached him fast with her dagger to his throat, "You are to keep away from them because you know I'm not scared of you" "You think your confidence is going to stop me from killing you and the ones you love and grew close to" he pointed a finger at Jhonny's apartment, "before your eyes" he continued. She pressed into his throat deep enough to make him bleed. He quickly grabbed her arm and twisted it, making her turn around and he pushed her to the ground. She quickly got up and looked at him with a serious look, "First, you hated me and tried killing me, but never the ones I love. I understand why you want to do that now" he looked at her curiously, "Why? If I may I ask" "Because you think I killed your parents" "So you think I believe it?" "Of course you do, because I didn't do it" "Oh please, Edana, we're your enemy, so don't tell me you don't want to watch Crystella crumple to the ground and turn to nothing. You killed them to get a step closer to that goal" "I'm going back to prove them wrong, but I'm not going back until I finish you" she said stepping forward. "You saw how that fight of killing me turned out," said Lynx smirking at her and not in a friendly way. "You didn't defeat me, Edana" "But you sure ran from it the moment I took my eyes off you" Lynx was shocked, but his expression was serious and he didn't want her to ask questions about it. "Turns out there was a coward in you," she said. He stepped closer to her, "Listen to me, I wouldn't run from you because I'll gladly kill you whenever I get the chance." "What exactly did you run from? Why didn't you fight me?" "I don't need to explain anything to you" "Did you really come here to kill me? or is there something else you came here for?" she said. "The only reason I came here is to kill you" "Well, I'm right here Lynx, and I suggest you do it now before I'm the one that kills you instead" She had both her arms out waiting for him. "I thought so," she said. She ran to him with her dagger at hand. Lynx didn't move, he just stood there starring at her. When she was close enough, he grabbed something behind him. It was rock and he hit the side of her head hard enough for her to fall to the ground as she held her head in pain. He grabbed her from the back and pulled out a syringe from his suit. He quickly pierced it on her neck, before she could do anything and blacked out.
