(Michelle Lui's POV)
Our second clue was… worse than the first.
"Where music hides in silence,
Where voices linger without sound,
Find the Keeper of Echoes."
Vince stared at it like it personally offended him.
"What is THIS? A haiku written by an overcaffeinated ghost?!"
Andy clapped him on the back. "This, my dear pirate, is what we call art."
"This is what I call nonsense," Vince muttered.
I reread it.
Music… but silent.
Voices, but no sound.
And then it clicked.
"…The piano room," I said.
Both boys turned.
I explained, "Remember the small grand piano tucked behind the side hall? It's not being used tonight—so the room is silent, but it's meant for music. And it's used for vocal rehearsals too."
Andy's eyes sparkled. "My Chelle, you genius."
I rolled my eyes. "Stop calling me that."
"No," he said cheerfully.
Vince grinned. "Okay team — TO THE PIANO!"
Andy linked his arm with mine dramatically. "Forward, Moonlight Warriors!"
