Of course, Polly Sutton understood Mr. Walker's intentions, and she knew even more about the consequences of doing so.
"Professor, I once asked you, what's the significance of house design for us? You said that houses are for people to live in, and good design should have warmth, not just exterior appeal." Polly stood by the window, watching the hustle and bustle below, "But shouldn't a house with warmth first and foremost be safe? It should be designed to protect family members in times of danger."
Mr. Walker listened to Polly's words and fell silent for a moment.
After a long pause, he finally said, "You're right, but in business, this reasoning might not be compelling enough to persuade them."
"If Victor Parker commercializes what he wants to do, then he would definitely be a very successful businessman, but that thing would lose its meaning, and even couldn't be called a dream." Polly said softly, her voice gentle yet firm.
