They look at each and walk towards the crowd. A girl was standing in the midst of the crowd looking panicked and flustered holding a shopping bag with a shop attendant standing next her
"What's going on here??" Ivy asked creasing her eyebrows
"This lady is a fraud" the shop attendant standing next to her said "she was shopping and now she says she has forgotten her credit card and her phone at home" she continued with a mocking expression
The girl quickly shake her head "I'm not trying to steal any clothes, I forgot my card at home" she quickly explained with a panicked expression
"I'm sure it's one of those poor brats who is trying to experience the life of a rich kid too bad she got caught" a mocking voice could be heard from the crowd
"You're right, the last time I went to the mall a girl was shoplifting luckily before she could go she was caught" a woman wearing a flashy thick makeup said
"I wasn't trying to steal anything I asked one of you to lend me your phone so I can call my brother but you refused" the girl said trying to calm the crowd down. She felt a little bit annoyed because she really wasn't trying to steal anything.
"Okay everyone should calm down" Ivy said "what if she really forgot her credit card and phone at home??" She continued getting angry because the people weren't willing to listen to the girl and they were not even willing to let her prove herself. This was one of the things she hated about most of the wealthy people they were quick to judgement. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself down
"How much is she suppose to pay??" Ivy asked
"55 000 USD" the cashier responded
Everyone was shocked when Ivy paid with her card Lina just stood at the said smiling at her friend she felt so proud.
The crowd disperse seeing that there was nothing interesting happening. As Ivy and Lina were leaving the girl quickly run after then. She stop Infront of them saying
"Thank you for helping me" she said smiling with a grateful expression "can I have your account details, when I get home I'll make sure to send the money" she continued
Ivy nodded took out a bloc-note from her bag, wrote down her account details and gave her
"By the way my name is Elvira Robinson. Can I get your names??" Elvira smiled brightly
Robinson the name sounded familiar to Lina but she dwell on it much
" Well I'm Ivy and this is my bestie Lina" Ivy replied with the same energy
"Nice meeting you. I'm new to town I came to spend some time with my elder brother. Can I have your contacts??" Elvira asked excitedly
"Sure we'll be glad to have someone new as our friend" Ivy said and gave her their contacts
Elvira took it said goodbye and left. They left the mall and went directly to the place whete they were suppose to meet Leonard. When they arrive they pass their order while waiting for Leonard
"You look nervous girl" Ivy said sipping her cocktail
"Not at all haha why would I be nervous, I'm imperfectly fine" Lina said with a nervous smile while bitting on her thumb nail
"You just said 'I'm imperfectly fine'" Ivy said laughing "you speak gibberish when you're nervous ma'am" she continued
"Okay fine I'm nervous I haven't seen your brother for almost 3 years" Lina said feeling fustrated "how do you expect me to feel" she continued covering her face with her hands
"Wait don't tell me you're still have a crush on that stuid brother of mine??" Ivy said almost choking on her drink
Before Lina could reply they saw Leonard walking, she was about to smile when she saw him holding a girl hand
