"I'm so sorry sir,I never intended to,I'm really sorry sir"The lady said trying to wipe off the content from his jacket.
"No,it's fine,I know it wasn't your intention,I can definitely take care of myself,don't worry about that"Alex replied trying to check if Kafy was still in sight.
"I'm sorry sir, please don't inform our manager about this if not,I will be fired"The lady pleaded,bowing.
"Oh,you are a staff here?that's nice. hope to see you some other time" and with that,he hurried out to see if he can still catch up with Kafy.
Alex was the heir to the Wilson's corporation,the largest business group in the whole world. They are widely known all over the world. Though,he was part of the Wilson but he was unknown. He made himself unknown because he dislikes the public attention. He is a very private person.
The Wilson and the president both run the country. They are simply above the law. They are the wealthiest in the country even wealthier than the president.
When Alex mother gave birth to him, due to series of complications,she died the following day leaving him alone with his father. His father than took up the responsibilities. He showed Alex both motherly and fatherly love. His love for Alex was beyond measures. He gave him his all. He also refused to get married for fear that Alex will be maltreated by his stepmother so he took it upon himself to take good care of Alex. Alex grew up to become a really handsome man. He was tall,elegant and has a nicely built body. He has a skin like milk,curly black hair,ocean blue eyes and a full pink lips. He possess an intimidating aura. He has being pestering his father to get married right from when he was 17 years of age but his father refused,saying Alex is the main reason for his existence. He finally agreed to get married when Alex was in his early thirties and the preparation for his marriage is currently going on.
When Alex got home,he immediately went to the bathroom to run a cold bath. Everything that happened today still seems like a dream to him. He left home feeling happy but he returned feeling bittered. He couldn't believe things were really over between them. He remembered when they started dating two years ago,they had met at a mall.Her credit card kept declining so he took it upon himself to pay for everything she bought. After their first encounter,they went out together a couple of times later before he gathered the courage to tell her about how he had always felt about her,she accepted immediately saying she had always felt the same way and with that,their love affair began. He had always been happy about their relationship despite the fact that he knew she was cheating on him with two different guys,he still loved her unconditionally not until this evening when she cut the tiles between them.
His ringing phone brought him out of his thoughts.
"Hi dad"he said faking a smile so his father wouldn't notice the sadness in his voice.
"Hi son,how have you been?"
"Have been good dad,what about you?and how is your wedding preparation going?"
"The preparation is going smoothly Alex but you know I really need you by my side,if not,I will conclude you are not in support of the wedding and I won't hesitate to call it off"his father said with all seriousness.
"I'm sorry dad,I don't think I will be able to make it there. I'm supposed to attend with my fiancee but she already ended our relationship. I intended telling her about my true identity at the party but I guess that won't be possible any longer. I just need a little time to pull myself together,I will return home after the wedding. You know I decided to stay here just for her but since it's really over,I guess I will be returning to Mexico then but not until after the wedding"Alex replied trying hard not to tear up again.
"I'm sorry about that my boy but you really have to be a man. you just have to pull yourself together. you should have told her about your identity right from the start,if you had,she wouldn't have dump you and don't tell me you won't be attending my wedding party just because of a lady. Come on man"His father said trying to cheer him up.
"Dad,I need a woman that will love me for who I am, not for what I have,I wanted to tell her about myself two months after we started dating but she was cheating on me.
I'm sorry dad,I will return home after the wedding. I still have some businesses to deal with here though. Besides you will be going for your honeymoon immediately after the wedding so I guess I will be fine and over her before you get back.Bye dad"
With that,he hung up and headed towards his closet.
