I cut her off before she could say another word.
I knew she was worried about how I had reacted to Simon. She had even tried to stop me earlier, probably because she already knew how it would end, but for some reason I just hadn't been able to keep my mouth shut.

I really needed to stop thinking about what happened with Simon. I was already tired enough as it was, and dragging that whole mess around in my head was only making it worse.
I had just finished registering for one club, which meant there was only one left.

Jayden and the others should already be there by now, or at least on their way.
Ugh.
Of all the clubs in this academy, it just had to be that one. The one packed with the worst kinds of people. The one most guaranteed to drain what little patience and energy I still had left.
