Each tick down from the sundial intensified the energy more and more, the seal holding its attack cracking further and further. Harvard would flick the seal over in an attempt to angle it right, but such a kick ended up ripping his leg apart from the frontal end. He'd wince as he'd realize the monster's magic was being more intense the longer he remained. With how everyone was fighting their own battles, each one being subjected by the misfortune in some shape or form, it was going to end in a slaughter for everyone involved before it was properly unleashed. He looked up at the beast, trying to see how he's able to get it out of the equation like before. It wasn't until he noticed Envy's struggles that he'd see the answer.

The Living Tar was bashing his own head in as he gets overrun by his thoughts. Axel's attempt to catch him off guard was always nearly successful, only interrupted by Zazel's or Tsukiya's efforts, while Bronx and Stolas keep the pressure going to ward off the gambler. Shots from the sniper, Draco and Taurus to act as bodies, even using the talismans to summon Yokai, living red and blue cloth dubbed as 'Akamanto', to try and sneak in for an assassination, watching the Gambler be strangled and torn through his stomach as he was restrained. Even with such against him, he kept pushing, using Midas to turn his body into gold and infect the spirits, letting them be corrupted and corroded to aid in his efforts, setting up some Dice to throw at the group.

KA-BOOOOOOM!!!

Explosives, with a higher number resulting in a higher bomb. He rushed on ahead, but Envy would be able to dissolve himself down to a puddle and slide across, forcing Axel to trip and suffer the consequences, his arms and legs quickly breaking, the bones protruding. He was taking advantage of the calamity raining down on everyone. "Good job. You avoided death again. Seems you may just be able to survive against this unfortunate encounter..." Sozo's voice was still echoing in the Tar's mind, prompting a slam into the wall, quickly caving in its own skull, damaging his mind as a result, letting the voices come in echoes, but not enough to drown out the sound. "Or... maybe not. You're not going to leave me, Envy. We're stuck together. No matter what you try, I will always feel and reciprocate those feelings in tandem. You should just give up and let the voices flow. Less mind numbing than attempting a self-lobotomy."

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! WHAT PART OF THAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!?!?" His screams triggers the beast's sundial once more, as Axel was quick to let the gold invade and regenerate his injuries, slowly damaging himself as a result, knowing fully well it will backfire and can destroy his inner body if left unchecked. Yet, it was a risk he was willing to take by any means. He'd blitz through the bodies of the fighters, a streak of gold to wash over and push them away, as he'd grab ahold of the Tar Man's neck, quickly letting it spread. In such vain, he'd let his head be severed and back away, letting a mouth grow on his hand in its place. Axel simply dropped the newly made statue and reached again, slashing into his abdomen, forcing the Tar Man to part it away and spit it out from his body like it was a parasite. Every attack was slowly having it lose its size. Coupled with his other friends and Alice having to match with each other's magic styles, Khonum specifically with his own supposed Book Magic and Deltoro trying to bar them from further advancing in his new form, the Card Magician knows there needs to be a push, a sudden switch that breaks the flow and gives them an advantage.

Harvard watched on at the monster made its next chime, looking at its molten eyes, as the fire began to stir once more.

"...You're hurt, aren't you?" He'd ask.

The beast growled softly, as if the scuffle unfolding before everyone went dormant. Quiet. The battle raged on, but the only sounds heard are from the Calamity of the Ninth.

In that instant, Harvard would cast down a card, de-spelling Eligos, cutting such tethers, freeing it from the connection to Theia as its Dyson Sphere. It was finally able to breathe again, to properly move, to intake its energy long and lost. It stared down at the boy, searching for its reason. It felt like seeing a familiar face, as if after all the decades, the centuries that went by, it finally found its owner again. "You're not MY Monster... but you're still a friend. My friend. You just want to rest. Let me help you get that sleep. Let me help you sleep... Xibal." The beast's eyes widened as he recognized its name. A Massive roar escaped from it, as it lit up as bright as the very sun above them, blinding anyone that were unfortunate enough to look at its direction.

"BANZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!!!!!"

KRACCC!!!!!

Right as he declared it, the roof broke in, as a Dragon was seen quickly swooping down, one which carried an electric current, blasting down bolts of lightning to try and electrocute the scuffle, an Electric Dragon, alongside its rider.

Taro Drawyrm.

"Sorry for the hold up! The children from my Kingdom can get pretty feisty for an opponent. Moreso if its two of them!" He'd laugh as he'd let it soar across the cave, seeing the monster properly awake, as even Harvard's friends were worried this would spell its end. Their horror turned to shock once they saw Xibal's influence, the Electric Dragon accidentally short circuiting itself the longer it circled around, hitting its nerves, letting it topple down and force the Human Vritra to fight on even ground, rushing towards Harvard as he recognized him as the only lone threat here.

Xibal has picked a proper side.
