"Congratulations man," Xander said excitedly, a smile on his face as he clapped me on the back, the action jeering me out of my thoughts. "I didn't know you had it in you."
"Asshole," I muttered under my breath as I registered his words, a glare directed at him which only made the idiot smile wider.
"Thank you doctor," Debby uttered in appreciation while Xander gave me weird looks and I tried to make sense of everything that was going on, my brain finding it hard to process such intense events in a span of 2 hours. "Can we see her yet?"
"Most definitely," he gave permission and Debby sighed in relief. "She's currently sleeping and should be up soon. It's a miracle the fall didn't cause any sort of damage."
"Thank you God," I exhaled while Xander continued to grin at me. I had decided to start ignoring him at that point.
"Like I said the psychologist—" the doctor began but Xander didn't let him finish.
