"Mom, what... what are you planning to do to Olivia?"
His voice started to tremble uncontrollably.
"Whatever Olivia did to my daughter, I will make her pay back tenfold."
"Mom!"
Thomas couldn't help but shout sharply.
"You have no evidence at all, what gives you the right to insist it was Olivia? You're abusing your power and disregarding human life!"
Evelyn couldn't be bothered to reason with Thomas anymore. She smirked and let out a cold laugh, saying:
"I don't need any evidence. I know it was her, so it was her."
After saying this, she got up and went upstairs, ignoring Thomas's calls without stopping for even a moment.
With Evelyn gone upstairs, Charles followed, having no desire to exchange even a single word more with Thomas.
Once both parents were upstairs, Thomas knew there was no hope for a plea. Holding onto the last sliver of hope, he turned to Edward, his voice trembling:
"Big brother..."
"Butler, please see the second young master out."
