Brilliant purple sigils and runes flashed up the kraken slayer's shaft, illuminating the darkness with their fluorescent light. A rumbling quake spread through the earth as Asmodeus tightened his lower muscles to remain steady.
The kraken slayer shook violently as the engines powering the mana circuits hidden inside the support shaft hummed.
'This is quite an impressive weapon.'
Asmodeus curved his lips at the sudden pulse of heat leaking from the massive ballista, countless elemental spells interwoven to create the pressure needed.
His glance shifted to the Leviathan before scoffing.
