Alex stood in the middle of the half-destroyed Lux Club. Blood was flowing from his nose, and a clear bruise adorned the area under his eye. His clothes were disheveled and covered in blood and alcohol. In his hands, he firmly gripped a piece of metal pipe from a pole. Alex's gaze was fixed on his brother Lucifer, who was also not in the best condition.
Lucifer's neat suit was rumpled and soaked in alcohol, and blood was also flowing from his nose. Lucifer clutched a broken bottle of expensive whiskey in his hand—the very one he had bought at an auction for a very large sum of money.
Dean watched all this calmly, leaning on the bar counter and sipping beer. Behind the bar stood Mazikeen, who was slowly stirring a cocktail in her hands.
The reason for Alex's current state was a series of events that had occurred several hours earlier. It all started with a harmless joke that Alex decided to pull off in order to prank his brother and, at the same time, introduce him to the others.
Together with Castiel, Alex had thrown the fake Lucifer into the portal, which Dean and Sam had watched. Dean did not want to miss such fun, as he knew Alex's entire plan. And Sam simply did not want to miss anything again, believing that now he needed to be aware of all the events that would happen around him.
After throwing the fake Lucifer into the portal, Alex and Castiel laughed, imagining their brother Lucifer's face. Upon entering his penthouse, he was supposed to see the bound fake double. Before carrying out this prank plan, Alex had shared his idea with Castiel. And what surprised Alex the most was that his brother Castiel readily agreed to help implement the plan.
While Alex and Castiel continued laughing, Dean joined them, fully appreciating such a joke. Dean was only glad that the bastard who had thoroughly ruined life for him and his family would ultimately run into the real Lucifer. Sam, watching the three laughing men, was the only one who believed that something like this never ended well.
The reason for such thoughts from Sam was not that Alex decided to prank his brother, but that Sam had seen more than once what situations turned into when Alex and Dean were in the same place and decided to do something together. And it always ended in catastrophe.
Memories instantly surfaced in Sam's head of the most recent adventure of Alex and Dean, when they were looking for any object that could stop Amara. Then Alex and Dean went to Egypt and found an ancient pyramid, under which was an underground city. There they managed to awaken an entire army of mummies, after which they successfully collapsed the entire cave onto the underground city along with the ancient pyramid.
At such a moment, Sam sincerely hoped that nothing bad would happen and everything would be fine. Although even he had huge doubts about such thoughts. Sam wanted, as always, to remind them of this, but the trio of still-laughing men had already left the utility room, leaving him standing completely alone. Sighing heavily, Sam followed them.
Meanwhile, Alex was already fully imagining his brother Lucifer's face when he found the gift on the floor of his penthouse. Still chuckling, they returned to the library to the others. But as soon as Alex and Castiel crossed the threshold of the library, their faces instantly froze and their smiles disappeared immediately. Dean, walking behind Alex, crashed into his back by inertia, slightly pushing Alex forward.
"Hey, what the hell did you freeze for?" Dean asked, looking out from behind Alex.
Looking out from behind Alex, Dean saw an elderly man calmly sitting at the table. He had gray hair neatly combed back and a neatly trimmed beard that made him look like a kind grandfather who had come to visit. He was wearing a light, elegant black vest, from the button of which a thin gold chain stretched, disappearing into a pocket. Under the vest was a neat white shirt with gold cufflinks.
A light, kind smile played on the man's face, which by its very appearance inspired absolute trust. On the grandfather's lap sat Alessa, whose face shone with a rare smile. And what was also important, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch hung peacefully on the arms of this elderly man like little koalas.
Frowning slightly, Dean looked at the frozen faces of Alex and Castiel, then shifted his gaze back to the elderly man. Sam, who approached last, also stopped, examining the guest with enormous interest. Dean and Sam did not know who this man was, but their inner senses clearly told them that this elderly person was directly connected to Alex and Castiel. And the only one they could think of was the True Creator himself—the Father of Alex and Castiel.
Realizing exactly who had come to the bunker, Dean and Sam also froze in place with surprised faces. After all, unlike Chuck, who always looked like a loser and an idiot, the elderly man before them looked exceptionally neat and even approachable with his soft smile. The girls sitting at the table saw the frozen faces of the guys and could barely hold back their laughter. The girls were especially amused by Alex's reaction, who had been cheerfully laughing just a moment ago.
"It's…" Dean muttered, swallowing, without taking his eyes off the Creator.
"Yeah, it's him…" Alex nodded, forcing a strained smile.
"So…" Dean continued, trying to choose the right words.
"No, we didn't screw up… It's just the end of the job," Alex said quietly, reassuring Dean.
Hearing this, Dean breathed a sigh of relief, placing his hand on his chest. He thought they had completely screwed up when they blew up an entire sector of the Galaxy just to kill Chuck, and now they would be harshly scolded for what they had done. But hearing that the Creator had simply come to visit, Dean felt a strange sense of relief. At the same time, he thought that this was very similar to the situation when a friend's parent unexpectedly came to visit just to check on them and see if they were misbehaving.
Sam stood with his mouth open, feverishly trying to process what he was seeing. He could not deny that compared to Chuck's pathetic appearance, the Father of Alex and Castiel looked exactly as he had always imagined God. Neat, well-groomed, and approachable just by his presence—that was exactly what God was in Sam's imagination.
Still trying to smile, Alex awkwardly coughed into his fist and patted Dean on the shoulder, showing that they both needed to sit down. Dean nodded in shock and carefully sat down at the table under the Creator's attentive gaze.
The Creator watched all this with a soft smile on his face, especially amused by the awkwardness on the faces of his two sons. When Alex, Castiel, Dean, and Sam finally sat down at the table, the girls unanimously said they would go prepare tea and snacks.
"Thank you, dears. And I apologize for the inconvenience. After all, I dropped by without warning," the Creator said with a soft smile, carefully watching the departing girls.
"It's nothing, Father. You are always welcome in our home," Lucina replied softly, slightly shaking her head and showing that there were absolutely no problems with his unexpected visit.
"Yes, yes. And it's not every day you see such an expression on Alex's face," Alice said with a wide smile, cheerfully raising two thumbs up.
"Can I take a selfie?" Enid said in a cautious tone, taking out her phone.
"Of course, dear. You don't even have to ask, we're family," the Creator replied with a smile, chuckling slightly at Enid's awkwardness.
Enid's eyes immediately widened with joy, and she deftly jumped to the Creator, standing next to him to take a selfie. Pointing the camera at herself, Enid raised two fingers in a peace sign, while the Creator smiled softly, moving closer so that Alessa, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch would definitely get into the frame too. After taking the photo with the Creator, Enid practically squealed with delight, wanting to post the picture immediately.
"No one will believe you anyway," Wednesday reminded her in a cold tone before Enid could upload the file.
Enid slowly turned her head, giving Wednesday a completely blank look, and decisively tapped the screen to post the photo. Enid did not care at all that no one in the world would believe her that the photo captured the Creator himself. The main thing for her was that this was Alex's beloved Father, and everything else was minor trifles.
Watching this, the Creator chuckled softly with a gentle smile, tenderly stroking his granddaughter's hair, which made Alessa squint contentedly. Dean and Sam, sitting nearby, watched this interaction between the girls and the Creator with their mouths hanging open. They were increasingly inclined to think that Alex and Castiel's father had simply come to visit to check on his children. Dean nudged Sam with his elbow and could not help but say that the Creator had taken a selfie. In response to these words, Sam nodded in shock, still processing everything that was happening before his eyes.
By this time, Alex and Castiel had returned to their usual behavior. Especially Alex, who lazily stretched his legs forward and relaxed. When the girls went to prepare tea and snacks, the Creator watched them leave, then shifted his gaze to his two sons.
"So, my dear sons. I can say that you did an excellent job. Especially you, Alexander… As for you, Castiel… I understand that my rule tied your hands throughout your entire path. But you still did an excellent job," the Creator spoke in a soft tone, continuing to stroke Alessa's hair.
"Thank you, Father… I did not want to interfere, but the desperate prayer of the previous Castiel, whom I eventually replaced… Forced me to intervene," Castiel said calmly, nodding slightly.
"You're paying me for this, I did what I always do… So it's time to talk about my fee," Alex said in a sarcastic tone, rubbing his fingers and showing that he was waiting for his payment.
"We'll have time to talk about your payment, son… Dean and Sam Winchester… Despite all the hardships you went through, you both did magnificently. I know you both have many questions. But I think my son has already given you answers to all these questions," the Creator said softly, waving off Alex and turning his gaze to Dean and Sam.
"Um… Thank you. We did what we were taught. Saving people and hunting monsters. Right, Sammy?" Dean said in a nervous tone, nudging Sam with his elbow.
"Yes, yes. We… really tried… But you… well… Wow," Sam spoke awkwardly, not knowing how to choose the right words to start the conversation.
Hearing Sam's awkward answer, Alex and Dean synchronously slapped their foreheads, realizing that Sam might now go into fan mode and start asking too many questions. If, of course, he could even pronounce them without stuttering like a schoolgirl in front of a guy she liked. Hearing the slap, Sam turned his head toward Alex and Dean and immediately saw their gesture.
Irritably clenching his teeth, Sam shoved Dean hard in the side, causing him to nearly fall off the chair and almost drag Alex with him. Barely avoiding falling, Alex did not remain in debt and sharply kicked Sam under the table, causing him to instantly hiss and grab the bruised spot. Dean also did not stay idle and hit Sam again with a juicy elbow to the side.
Soon a full-fledged scuffle broke out between Alex, Dean, and Sam, from which Castiel tactfully retreated, moving his chair as far away as possible. The Creator, watching this farce, sincerely laughed, slightly stroking his neatly trimmed beard. A moment later, Alex was already pulling Dean by the collar of his jacket and continued actively kicking Sam's leg.
In response, Dean braced his dirty sole against Sam's chest, and his hand death-gripped Alex's face, not letting him completely pull him off the chair. Sam furiously pressed his palm against Dean's face, trying to throw off his leg, while under the table he convulsively tried to fight off Alex's relentless attacks. Everything very quickly turned into their usual chaotic scuffle between the three of them.
And it was to this wild noise that Enid and Samantha came out from the kitchen, hearing the familiar swearing that was clearly audible even through the thick walls. Seeing what exactly was happening in the library, Enid and Samantha wisely decided that absolutely nothing out of the ordinary was happening, and calmly went back to the kitchen to the other girls.
"Son, maybe we should talk about your payment now?" the Creator asked softly, continuing to watch the scuffle.
When Alex heard these cherished words, he deftly threw Dean and Sam off their chairs and instantly straightened up, adjusting his clothes. Crashing to the floor, Dean and Sam began to grumble irritably, slowly getting up. Sitting back down on the chairs, Dean and Sam looked at Alex, who once again looked absolutely neat and tidy—as if it had not been him who had just roughly thrown them to the floor.
Dean irritably jerked his neck, thinking that in the future Alex would definitely run into harsh karma. And Dean did not yet know that this would happen very soon, and it would bring him a lot of sincere pleasure.
Alex, for his part, paid no attention at all to the frowning looks from Dean and Sam, because all his thoughts were entirely filled with the upcoming payment. Alex feverishly went through dozens of weapon options that he would like to receive from the Father. After all, he sincerely believed that his collection of rare and unique weapons should continue to grow. Rubbing his hands in anticipation, Alex narrowed his eyes slyly.
While Alex was thinking about exactly what to choose, Doll came from the kitchen, carefully carrying a tray with a teapot of hot tea and light snacks in the form of cookies. Seeing the tea and cookies in front of him, the Creator smiled softly and thanked Doll. Doll shook her head with a soft smile, showing that it was not difficult for her at all, since they were all one big family here.
And while Alex was thinking about what kind of weapon to choose, old memories suddenly surfaced in his head, and from this his smile became even wider. Dean and Sam also showed lively interest in the payment that Alex was about to receive from the Creator. They both knew absolutely nothing about these cosmic fees, and therefore they were wildly curious.
"Three payments," Alex said in a serious tone, confidently raising three fingers up.
"Three? Really? May I ask why the price for your services has skyrocketed so sharply?" the Creator asked with interest, slowly stirring his tea and looking at his son with interest.
"I think I should remind you of how I ended up on Pandora. Then also in Yharnam. And there, let's just say, it was not exactly a resort. And, of course, this world. So three payments for three worlds," Alex said, continuing to stubbornly show three fingers.
"Oh, son, it seems you are very much mistaken about something," the Creator said with a smile, taking an unhurried sip of tea.
"Really? And in what way?" Alex asked with interest, propping his cheek on his palm.
"Since you want to know so badly, son, I'll explain everything to you in detail. First, Pandora. Your payment for it was an entire 'Helios,' if you haven't accidentally forgotten. Your four pets. All the rare materials you personally obtained on Pandora, and just a huge amount of data on unique weapons and everything else," the Creator began to explain, crossing his fingers under his chin and listing in detail everything Alex had received as payment for a single world.
"Okay, let's assume that's really the case. What about Yharnam and this world?" Alex said, clicking his tongue, displeasedly leaning back in his chair and tightly folding his arms across his chest.
"Oh, son. I just want to sincerely praise you for so brazenly demanding payment for a world that you were actually clearing as payment for your old debt to Yog… So, by my most modest calculations, only this one world remains for payment from me," the Creator said with a slight chuckle, confidently raising a single finger up.
Alex sighed heavily and clicked his tongue again because his idea had failed. Castiel, watching his brother desperately bargain, just shook his head, considering Alexander slightly stupid for even trying to pull off such a trick with their Father.
Dean and Sam once again heard something that caused another hard short-circuit in their brains. Listening to this entire discussion between Alex and the Creator, Dean and Sam thought that they had suddenly found themselves at some strange reporting meeting in a large corporation, where the payment of salaries to employees was being seriously discussed, and not the salvation of an entire world.
At the same time, Dean thought that since he had also taken direct part in saving his native world, he was now also rightfully entitled to payment. Dean raised his gaze and looked at the Creator, and their eyes instantly met. Dean did not even have time to voice his cherished request out loud when the Creator softly nodded, clearly showing that he perfectly knew what Dean was thinking right now and that his thoughts about payment were quite justified.
Seeing this, Dean was not just shocked—he could barely contain the emotions bursting out of him. After all, he had only one single desire inside, and his younger brother Sam had always shared exactly the same desire. They both simply wanted with all their hearts to see their long-deceased relatives again.
Dean perfectly understood that his thoughts about resurrecting his family might seem selfish from the outside, but at such a fateful moment he really desperately wanted to be selfish. Clenching his fists under the table, Dean thought that after so many long years he would finally be able to see his father and mother again.
After all, there was so much he desperately wanted to tell them. And most importantly—to feel again that forgotten feeling of a full, real family. With enormous difficulty holding back his emotions, Dean covered his face with his hands, because at that moment he was simply incredibly glad that his main desire could now definitely come true.
Sam, who timely noticed his brother's strange behavior, slightly nudged him with his elbow, quietly asking what had happened. Dean, reliably hiding his eyes behind his hand so as not to show his tears in any case, just silently shook his head, showing that everything was fine.
Alex and Castiel noticed the change in Dean's behavior and sighed simultaneously. Of course, they perfectly knew what Dean wanted most in the world. Even Amara, who at that time was busy eliminating the consequences in her already universe, clearly felt how brightly Dean's emotions had flared up.
Standing in the cosmic void, Amara sincerely wanted the one she cherished to finally find his well-deserved peace and never look back again when his cherished desire came true. After all, if it had not been for Alex and Castiel, who had acted ahead of time, she herself would have gladly resurrected Mary and John Winchester, as well as their old family friend Bobby Singer.
Smiling softly, Amara continued to deal with the elimination of the consequences of the battle. She wanted to finish all the affairs as quickly as possible in order to personally check on Dean and meet his returning parents together with him. Imagining Dean's face when he tried to introduce her as his girlfriend to his own family, Amara chuckled slightly, continuing to carefully collect the destroyed planets and restore them to their original appearance.
Meanwhile, in the bunker, Alex had finally decided on exactly what weapon he wanted to receive as payment from the Father. And this ultimate weapon should also help make Sam much stronger—whether he wanted it or not. The Creator calmly waited for his son to finally decide on his choice and continued to unhurriedly drink tea, at the same time feeding cookies to Alessa, GIR, MIMI, and Stitch. Noticing how Alex's gaze had predatorily changed, the Creator carefully lowered his teacup onto the table and smiled softly.
"I see you have decided on your choice, son. This time you thought much longer than usual," the Creator said, softly tapping his finger on the wooden table.
"It was too difficult to make the right choice… And now give me my Rebellion," Alex said, confidently stretching his hand toward the Creator.
The Creator chuckled slightly, and the space behind him cracked with a quiet sound, and from there the gigantic sword Rebellion flew out with a whistle. Grabbing the flying blade with one hand, Alex was wildly pleased. Dean and Sam almost fell off their chairs again from such a trick when the heavy blade flew right past them.
Turning to Alex, they stared wide-eyed at the sword in his hands. It was a long two-handed sword made of dark metal with light steel edges. Closer to the tip, the blade had a characteristic angular cut on both sides, giving the sword's point the shape of a massive arrowhead.
The main and most recognizable detail of this weapon was the guard in the form of a skeleton. It looked like a stylized ribcage embracing the base of the blade, transitioning into a creepy human skull right in the center.
Rising from the chair, Alex swung Rebellion powerfully a couple of times in the air to get a little used to its balance. Feeling the pleasant, colossal weight of this sword in his palm, Alex almost drooled with delight. After all, for a complete collection of legendary demonic swords, he lacked only this one specimen. Throwing Rebellion over his shoulder, Alex snorted contentedly.
"Excellent toy… Cas, get it out. It's time to finally carry out what was planned… And you, Sam, take off your bracelet," Alex said with a satisfied smile, first looking at Castiel and then at the quiet Sam.
Castiel perfectly knew what Alex was thinking and nodded understandingly, taking out two transparent vials from the inner pocket of his coat, inside which the grace of Gabriel and Lucifer from this universe lazily shimmered. Sam, for his part, understood absolutely nothing and just silently removed the bracelet from his hand that Alex had given him when they had arrived in Derry a long time ago.
And this bracelet had saved his life more than once and also allowed him to use the power of Michael's Spear without harm to himself. Not really knowing what exactly Alex had planned, Sam carefully placed the bracelet on the wooden table and obediently waited.
Leaning Rebellion against the edge of the table, Alex sharply grabbed the bracelet, and with his other hand seized the vials with the grace of the fake Gabriel and Lucifer. Loudly clapping his hands, Alex smashed the vials right against the bracelet on the spot, and pure archangelic grace began to rapidly absorb into the metal. When the energy was completely absorbed, Alex looked at Sam and smiled slightly, from which Sam himself instantly felt an extremely unpleasant premonition.
"Sam, now quickly stand up and press this bracelet to your chest," Alex said, accurately throwing the bracelet straight at Sam.
"Why? And what exactly did you plan?" Sam asked, frowning, but still obediently rising from his chair.
"You see… Here's the thing. My sword Yamato can separate absolutely everything. Including the soul into good and evil… But Rebellion works strictly the opposite. It has a unique property of uniting and fusing things. Do you understand now what I'm talking about?" Alex said thoughtfully, standing directly in front of Sam and confidently gripping Rebellion in his hands.
"Not really. And to be honest, absolutely everything in your words seems extremely suspicious and strange to me," Sam said, openly expressing his concerns about Alex's vague explanations.
"And not without reason. And now hold your panties tight, Sammy. Now you're going to have a wildly exciting carousel… Because right now you're going to take an express course on how to become many times stronger without doing a damn thing for it," Alex said, sharply raising Rebellion and directing its sharp blade straight into Sam's chest.
Sam did not have time to say anything or even refuse before the heavy blade of Rebellion pierced straight through his chest, passing exactly through the center of the bracelet. Sam stared in complete stupor at the blade stuck in his body, and then raised a wild gaze at Alex with a silent question: did you just seriously pierce my chest with a huge sword? In response to this look, Alex only smiled widely, clearly making it clear that the most interesting part was about to begin right now.
At that same moment, Sam heard a distinct, deafening sound of a heartbeat in his ears. Before Sam could fully realize everything, a furious, strong heat began to rapidly spread throughout his body, causing his legs to instantly buckle. Before Sam collapsed to his knees, Alex pulled the blade of Rebellion out of his chest with one smooth movement.
Sam fell to the floor, convulsively grabbing his ribcage with his hands and clearly feeling how wildly his heart was pounding and how something was happening to his own body that he absolutely did not understand. A wave of powerful heat covered Sam with such force that thick steam began to pour from his skin, and his body instantly turned red.
Breathing heavily and clutching his beating heart, Sam tried to remain conscious until the last moment. But in his ears the thunderous sound of a heartbeat rang out again, causing his eyes to instantly roll back, and he collapsed powerlessly to the floor, finally losing consciousness. Sam's body began to convulse strongly as he writhed on the ground while his physical shell and soul underwent forced transformation.
Dean, watching this, although he frowned, did absolutely nothing. He perfectly knew that what was happening to Sam right now would ultimately guaranteed save his life in the future. After all, their new enemies would now be far from simple earthly monsters and ghosts that could be easily shot and simply forgotten, lazily drinking cold beer and getting a good night's sleep in the bunker.
"I think at this moment I will leave you, children. It's time for me to return to my affairs," the Creator said, gently lowering Alessa from his lap.
"Don't you want to meet Lucifer, Father?" Alex asked, looking at his Father.
"I'm afraid it's he who doesn't want to meet me… I think after a personal meeting with you, son, he himself will decide to talk to me," the Creator said, softly shaking his head and taking out his golden pocket watch.
"Just say that you simply don't want to look at his eternally sour face once again," Alex said with a chuckle, easily putting Rebellion back into his inventory with a light movement.
"Don't talk about your own brother like that. He sincerely wanted a free life, and I gave it to him completely. And if I brazenly interfere in his affairs right now, then all my long-term plans for a future granddaughter will simply evaporate," the Creator said with a kind smile, carefully putting the golden pocket watch back into the pocket of his elegant black vest.
"As you say, Father," Alex said, rolling his eyes, once again clearly convinced of how much his Father liked the role of a caring grandfather.
"And you, my little granddaughter, I am really looking forward to seeing you visit me together with all your sisters. After all, we have already planned our future joint adventure together… And now hug and kiss grandpa goodbye," the Creator said with a smile, obediently squatting next to Alessa and widely opening his arms for a warm embrace.
"Okay, grandpa. As soon as we finally return home, we will definitely come to visit you right away," Alessa said with a rare, happy smile, tightly hugging the Creator around the neck and tenderly kissing him on the cheek.
Laughing, the Creator once again tenderly stroked Alessa's hair, already mentally planning the upcoming trip with all five of his granddaughters. Stopping stroking Alessa, the Creator looked at Alex and Castiel and softly nodded his head, saying goodbye to them. After saying goodbye, the Creator silently dissolved into the air, as if he had never been there.
Alex and Castiel understandingly exchanged glances and were already about to finally carry out their long-standing plan to return the full composition of the Winchester family. But before they could do this, a spatial portal quietly cracked open right in the middle of the bunker library, from which a man confidently emerged, dressed in an elegant black suit with an impeccable white shirt. A cheerful, anticipatory smile played on the man's face as he lazily fanned himself with an open white envelope.
Exiting the portal, Lucifer raised an eyebrow in surprise, instantly noticing the rather strange atmosphere in the bunker. Looking around, Lucifer first saw Castiel and was even more surprised. And immediately after that, his intrigued gaze fell directly on Sam, who was still writhing on the floor in strong convulsions, undergoing forced transformation.
"Castiel, my dear brother, am I late? Or did I just accidentally lose the invitation somewhere, which clearly indicated the place of our meeting after your rather unoriginal joke?" Lucifer said with a characteristic British accent, slowly waving the envelope in his hands.
"It wasn't me who invited you, Lucifer," Castiel said calmly, shaking his head negatively.
"Not you? Then who? Hmm… And why does this place seem so vaguely familiar to me… Hmm… Could this be the famous Men of Letters Bunker? And this guy on the floor must be Sam Winchester… And this one, looking like a devoted fan of old classic rock, must be Dean Winchester… And I don't know you at all. Although, I must admit, I sincerely like your style. It's definitely to my taste… So, who are you?" Lucifer said with lively interest, beginning to carefully look around and examine everyone one by one until his attentive gaze finally fell on Alex.
Continuing to fan himself with the envelope, Lucifer calmly walked up to Alex and stopped a step away from him, carefully examining him from head to toe. Lucifer still did not know exactly who Alex was, but this did not prevent him from fully appreciating his clothing style.
A black thin coat, under which was a black shirt, black jeans and white gloves with the seal of Cromwell on the hands, and most importantly—the ominous Ring of Death on the index finger. Having duly appreciated the clothing style, Lucifer nodded understandingly several times, lazily stroking his chin and with lively interest examining Alex, circling him as if evaluating a model on a runway.
Dean, for his part, was in deep shock that Lucifer turned out to be an almost identical copy of Alex, except perhaps for age. The same soft, annoying smile, manner of speech, and even the general clothing style. Dean could not even think that unlike Castiel, Alex and Lucifer really looked like real younger and older brothers.
"So, who will you be?… I don't recall any such character ever hanging around the Winchesters. And I have a strong impression that it was you who was the main instigator of this rather stupid joke with that fake that suddenly ended up in my penthouse," Lucifer said in a soft tone, brazenly waving the open envelope right in front of Alex's face.
"Oh, right, where are my manners. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alexander Voldigoad. It is very nice to meet you, brother," Alex said with a soft smile, bowing slightly.
"Brother? Now that is really unexpected… Only I don't recall anyone among our relatives who is as devilishly handsome as I am. Even that idiot Michael was far from as good-looking. And you are so much less handsome than I am," Lucifer said in an intrigued tone, brazenly squeezing his fingers right in front of Alex's face and showing how minuscule the difference between them was in this very handsomeness.
"Because he is the youngest. And not an angel," Castiel said, dryly explaining the situation for Lucifer.
"The youngest? Not an angel? Now this is getting much more interesting. So, I am very intrigued. And now satisfy my curiosity, my new younger brother. Who exactly are you?" Lucifer said impatiently, rubbing his hands in anticipation of who his new relative really was.
"I am a demon. Sort of the very first demon created by our Father," Alex said in a carefree tone, shrugging slightly.
Lucifer pulled his head back in surprise, clearly struck by such a revelation. He definitely had not expected that their Father could even create the First Demon. Running his fingers over his chin, Lucifer looked intently at Castiel, wanting to personally make sure that this was not some stupid joke.
Castiel nodded casually, showing that all this was absolute truth. At that same moment, Lucifer sincerely laughed, clutching his stomach until tears came. He could not even imagine that something like this would ever happen in his life. At that moment, his interest in the new younger brother grew even stronger.
Stopping laughing, Lucifer smiled widely and proprietarily placed his hands on Alex's shoulders. Now he finally understood why this guy had liked him so much from the very first glance. After all, this was exactly the perfect younger brother he had always secretly wanted to see.
"Excellent! Just wonderful news. So, my dear brother, we urgently need to drink and talk properly. We definitely have something to discuss," Lucifer said with a wide smile, tightly hugging Alex around the neck and rejoicing as if Christmas had come to his club much earlier than expected.
"I still have things to do… We can drink some other time. Dean and I still have unfinished business," Alex said, futilely trying to remove Lucifer's tenacious hand from his shoulder and pointing his finger at Dean.
"Hmmm… Dean Winchester, huh?… Ho, I see a rather interesting event has occurred in this universe. I definitely want to hear about it from the first sources! So you two are coming with me right now. And I categorically do not accept the answer 'no.' As the older brother, I am simply obligated to personally treat my younger brother and his friend. Forward, forward!" Lucifer said, carefully looking at Dean, and then deftly wrapping his other arm around his neck.
"Wait, damn it, we still have a ton of things to do!" Dean said irritably as Lucifer brazenly dragged him and Alex along with him.
"Leave everything to Castiel, all these minor problems of yours. After all, he loves helping with household matters so much. And we are waiting for a truly fun adventure in Los Angeles!" Lucifer said in a cheerful tone, with a light wave of his hand opening a sparkling portal right in the middle of his elite nightclub.
Lucifer did not care at all about all their protests; he simply dragged Alex and Dean into the rift without even asking their personal opinion. All his thoughts right now were entirely occupied with the new younger brother and those amazing stories he could hear from him. After all, he perfectly knew that Dean Winchester was supposed to be an ordinary mortal human according to canon. But here, as it turned out, a completely different, insane story had unfolded.
Alex and Dean desperately clung to the concrete floor of the bunker with their feet until the last moment while they were brazenly dragged toward the portal. But all they could ultimately do was see Castiel smiling and waving goodbye to them, loudly shouting that he would definitely personally look after Sam. Immediately after that, the spatial portal closed with a dry clap.
To be continued...
(So here it is, the Lucifer you've been waiting for. You know, I initially thought I'd be able to get to the events described at the beginning of the chapter. But as you yourself noticed, a lot has happened during this chapter, during this entire conversation. I couldn't just say, "Here's your payment, son, and I'm going." Nope, that one doesn't work. But I promise, we'll soon move on to Alex and Dean's adventures in Midgar. Because I'm really looking forward to it myself. After all, a very amazing surprise awaits Dean upon his return. And now it's time to eat and play FF7. Peace, love, and that's what you see but don't see.)
