Chapter 754 - "Chapter 753: Everything Between Brothers Should Be Resolved with Violence."

After the enthusiastically energized Lucifer dragged Alex and Dean into the portal to treat them to drinks from the heart and, as he himself put it, to listen to their amazing stories, only Castiel and Sam remained in the bunker's library. Sam was still writhing on the floor, continuing to undergo the difficult process of transformation.

Sitting back down on the chair, Castiel fell into deep thought about just how strongly inspired his brother Lucifer had been when he learned that their youngest brother had actually turned out to be the Primordial Demon. Lazily stroking his chin, Castiel initially thought that nothing bad would definitely happen if Alex and Dean spent a little time in Lucifer's company. But Castiel's hand immediately froze in fright on his chin when he vividly recalled the truly explosive tempers both of his brothers had — and Dean himself as well.

Castiel was especially absolutely certain that Lucifer would never in his life miss the magnificent opportunity to play some sophisticated prank on his new younger brother. Slowly lowering his hand, Castiel now sincerely hoped that everything would turn out fine and that Alex and Dean would safely return right after drinking a bit of good alcohol in Lucifer's company.

"I hope everything will be fine," Castiel quietly muttered, sincerely trying to believe that everything should go smoothly, even though he himself believed it with enormous difficulty.

"What exactly should turn out fine, and where did Alex and Dean disappear to?" came the sudden voice of Lucina right at the entrance to the library.

Hearing the unexpected question, Castiel calmly turned his head in her direction and explained in detail everything that was currently happening, including Lucifer's sudden arrival after their little joke and how he had brazenly dragged Alex and Dean away with him. The moment Lucina heard this, her face became completely blank. Wearily rubbing her forehead, Lucina was already distinctly feeling that this whole venture was guaranteed not to end with a couple of modest glasses of alcohol during peaceful conversation between two newly found brothers.

Removing her hand from her forehead, Lucina decided that she should immediately tell all the other girls about this, because her intuition was already screaming at full volume that something unpleasant was going to happen again very soon.

Noticing how sharply Lucina's expression had changed, Castiel tried to say that everything would definitely be fine and that this wouldn't cause any problems at all. But the moment he mentioned it, even his own voice was saturated to the limit with sincere doubts on the matter.

Lucina looked intently at Castiel and only gave him a strained, joyless smile. She had no idea what kind of character this real Lucifer had, but she knew her own husband very well and that problems absolutely always followed him wherever he went.

And those problems inevitably multiplied several times over when Dean was next to Alex, since he was likewise the ultimate magnet for all possible troubles they could encounter on their path.

"What's happening with Sam?" Lucina asked, shifting her gaze to the writhing Sam and posing a perfectly logical question.

Castiel calmly explained exactly what important process of transformation of the foundations of existence Sam was currently undergoing. To which Lucina nodded understandingly and immediately headed back to the kitchen to tell the other girls in full detail where exactly their eternally trouble-prone husband had suddenly disappeared to.

Watching Lucina leave, Castiel shifted his gaze back to Sam, who was no longer writhing on the floor but only breathing heavily, unconscious. Noticing that the hardest part was already over, Castiel snapped his fingers, sending Sam straight to his room. After all, after the difficult transformation process ended, Sam would need a very good rest to finally come to his senses.

Left in complete solitude in the library, Castiel took his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. He thought that if Alex and Dean didn't return within a day, he would personally go check on them.

At the same time, an enthusiastic Lucifer abruptly pulled Alex and Dean out of the portal. The moment they exited the portal, Lucifer immediately sealed the spatial rift tightly behind him so that none of the guests could accidentally escape. Straightening up, Alex began carefully examining the club "Lux," which he had previously only seen in the series. Everything here was exactly as he remembered from his memory. The interior looked quite refined and rather bright — precisely in the style that Lucifer loved so much.

Taking out his pocket watch, Alex looked at the dial to understand what time it was in this particular world. The hands on the watch face began spinning wildly until they fully synchronized with the local time. A moment later, Alex saw that in the world where Lucifer lived, it was now the height of midday. Dean stood next to Alex and was also looking around with interest, since he had already heard from Alex himself that this Lucifer had opened his own nightclub, which enjoyed enormous popularity among all the elite of Los Angeles.

"Well, what are you two standing around for? It feels like you've never been in places like this in your lives. Especially you, my dear younger brother," Lucifer said cheerfully, proprietarily wrapping an arm around Alex's neck and brazenly starting to drag him deeper into the hall.

Feeling himself being brazenly dragged again, Alex could only sigh heavily and allow Lucifer to haul him further. Sensing his feet lazily dragging across the floor, Alex glanced at Dean, who continued to look around the elite club with interest. Loudly whistling to call Dean, Alex casually waved his hand right after the latter turned his head toward him. Dean grinned understandingly and, shoving his hands deep into his jacket pockets, calmly followed after Alex and Lucifer.

A few moments later, Lucifer finally dragged Alex to the bar counter and proprietarily seated him on a free stool next to himself. Sitting on the stool, Alex looked at the woman behind the bar, who was still standing with her back to them, continuing to melancholically count the remaining alcohol after yesterday's wild opening of the establishment.

"Hey, Maze, look who I brought to us," Lucifer said, loudly calling the bartender girl whose name was Maze.

"And who did you bring, Lucifer?... Hmm... Who are these guys?" Maze asked, slowly turning her head in their direction and slightly raising an eyebrow upon noticing Alex and Dean sitting on either side of Lucifer.

"Why don't you guess yourself? Who do you think is sitting next to me right now?" Lucifer asked cheerfully, brazenly wrapping an arm around Alex's neck and pulling him tightly closer to himself.

When Lucifer's words sounded, Maze looked intently at Alex and slightly narrowed her eyes, immediately noticing the obvious resemblance in appearance between Alex and Lucifer. Stepping closer to the bar counter, Maze leaned heavily on it to get a better look at Alex, while Lucifer's face wore his usual irritating smile.

Alex, in turn, calmly examined Maze in response. She was wearing a short leather jacket, under which the outlines of a black bra were clearly visible; on her legs were tight leather pants and high leather boots with low heels.

While Maze carefully examined Alex, desperately trying to figure out who he was, Lucifer casually reached for three glasses and a bottle of good whiskey that stood under the bar counter. Placing the glasses in front of Alex and Dean, Lucifer began unhurriedly pouring the alcohol, even carefully dropping an ice cube into each glass.

"Well, Maze, did you guess who exactly I brought to us?" Lucifer asked with a wide smile, tightly closing the whiskey bottle.

"No idea. But he's totally my type... I definitely like dangerous handsome guys like that," Maze said with a smirk, reaching for the whiskey bottle to pour some for herself too.

"Heh, I thought you'd be much more observant, Maze. It seems you've slightly lost your former sharpness," Lucifer said in an exaggerated tone, gently swirling the whiskey in his glass.

"I don't think so... These two reek of blood, and quite strange blood at that, I'd say. Hmm... If I'm not mistaken, they've spilled the blood of demons, vampires, werewolves, and a bunch of other creatures... And this handsome guy here has the thickest scent of those he's killed. The second one outright reeks of Hell," Maze said in a casual tone, pointing in turn with her slender fingers first at Alex and then at Dean, who was already drinking the whiskey, explaining in detail everything she had managed to notice.

Alex almost whistled at how much Maze had managed to see in such a short observation time. Looking at Maze, Alex couldn't help but nod, to which Maze cheekily winked at him, taking another sip of whiskey. But unlike Alex, Lucifer was not shy at all — he loudly whistled and began applauding Maze vigorously for her amazing powers of observation. Maze lazily shifted her gaze to Lucifer and irritably rolled her eyes.

Dean, meanwhile, carefully pulled up the thick collar of his jacket and sniffed it slightly, sincerely not understanding how so many foreign scents, including the smell of Hell, had managed to linger on him. But all he could detect was the fresh scent of ordinary fabric softener. Not smelling any extra aromas, Dean simply shrugged carelessly and continued calmly drinking the free whiskey — since they were treating him so generously, he definitely wasn't going to refuse the drink.

"Well done, Mazikeen. But you still haven't understood the most important thing. And that's very bad," Lucifer said with a satisfied smile, gently wagging his index finger from side to side.

"What exactly? That you two look alike? Even a one-eyed blind man would notice that immediately," Maze said in an exaggerated tone, confidently pointing her finger at Alex and Lucifer.

"Almost alike... My new brother is just a little less handsome than me. After all, only I in our family can be so devilishly beautiful. Even if he is the first demon," Lucifer said in a haughty tone, proudly pointing a finger at his own face.

Maze, who was taking another sip of whiskey, immediately choked hard when Lucifer's last words rang out loudly. Somehow wiping the remnants of the expensive alcohol from her lips, Maze stared at Lucifer in complete stupor — as if she were hearing her boss spew complete and utter nonsense for the first time in her life. Lucifer, however, was sincerely amused by Maze's violent reaction to the pure truth that he had so casually blurted out in passing.

Maze even glanced distrustfully for a moment at the whiskey in her glass, seriously thinking that someone had spiked the alcohol with strong drugs and she was simply having auditory hallucinations. After all, she knew perfectly well that Lucifer never lied in his life and was physically incapable of lying, which meant his insane words were absolute truth. Maze's gaze instantly shifted from the whiskey glass straight to Alex.

Deciding to have a little fun and play along with the situation, Alex responded with a wide and unnatural smile, clearly baring dense rows of sharp shark-like teeth. At that very moment, upon seeing such a sight, an even wilder, predatory interest in Alex awakened inside Maze.

And Lucifer, not wasting precious time, nimbly leaned on the bar counter, practically climbing fully onto it, and with a laugh quickly took a photo of Alex's creepy smiling face. Immediately after that, he managed to snap a picture of Maze's surprised face frozen in place as she continued to stare intently at Alex.

Dean, sitting on the neighboring stool, lazily watched what Lucifer was doing and grinned understandingly, taking another sip.

"At least this Lucifer isn't such a complete asshole as our previous acquaintance," Dean muttered quietly, taking a sip of whiskey.

"Don't you dare compare me to that pathetic fake! Just look at me and then remember him. I am sincerely pleased with my luxurious life, while he is just a whiny child. Oh, for all the saints, it's even disgusting for me to simply think that anyone dares compare me to such a counterfeit," Lucifer responded with contempt in his voice, quickly typing a message on his phone to arrange the next meeting.

"Can't argue with that... He really messed up my life and my brother's life pretty badly... By the way, where did he end up? You know, after we tossed him into your penthouse?" Dean nodded understandingly, curious about what had ultimately happened to the fake Lucifer.

"I don't know... Maze disposed of him somewhere. And I really don't care... Better tell me why two of my brothers ended up in your universe? And why is the power of the Primordial Goddess churning inside you? As far as I remember, both you and your brother should be ordinary humans," Lucifer said in a carefree tone, putting his phone back in his pocket and fully switching to the topic that interested him.

"There's a whole story that happened in that universe. Let's just say Chuck screwed up a bit, so I had to clean everything up personally," Alex joined the conversation after a short talk with Maze.

"You don't say? Was it really that interesting... And as I've already understood, my dear younger brother, the rule of our Father didn't touch you at all. I am downright in anticipation," Lucifer said in an exaggerated tone, cheerfully rubbing his hands in anticipation of the upcoming epic story.

Seeing absolutely no reason to hide what Chuck had done to his universe, Alex began calmly recounting everything from the very beginning. And he started from the very moment when he had been forced to attend Forks High School. When Alex spoke about this, Lucifer could no longer hide his wild enthusiasm and began bombarding him with questions on the subject, because he simply had to know what exactly had been happening in Forks.

Pouring another portion of whiskey into Alex's glass, Lucifer's whole demeanor showed that he sincerely wanted to hear this entire story in the smallest details. And when Alex colorfully complained that Father had literally forced him to attend a regular school, Lucifer burst into deafening laughter. Even Maze leaned on the bar counter with interest, deciding to listen attentively to Alex's story.

Gradually the atmosphere at the bar became even more cheerful as Alex detailed what he had had to do, what unique places he had visited, and what kind of dirty work he had performed. To all of this Lucifer only nodded understandingly with a satisfied smile on his face. He was especially pleased that his younger brother had received an entire Oldest House as official payment for his labors.

Soon Alex smoothly reached the part where he began working directly with Dean and Sam, and then Dean himself actively joined the conversation. Alex and Dean together cheerfully told about their insane journey in a house on wheels through the cursed towns of Derry and Silent Hill. When Alex finally reached the part about organizing Hellsing, Lucifer thoughtfully stroked his chin.

"So Alucard is a woman there... Hmm... Interesting. Listen, you wouldn't happen to want to introduce me to her, would you, little brother? I've never had anything with an ancient Nosferatu before, and you know, I've slept with the most different women," Lucifer said with a cheerful smile, brazenly wrapping an arm around Alex's neck.

When Lucifer's words sounded, the smile instantly disappeared from Alex's face, and he slowly turned his head. Dean knew perfectly well how this was going to end, and, promptly grabbing his glass of whiskey, he tactfully moved to a neighboring distant stool so as not to accidentally get caught in the explosive wave. He definitely wasn't going to voluntarily become part of someone else's family quarrel.

Maze instantly noticed the dangerous change in Alex's behavior, and Dean's swift actions did not escape her attentive gaze either. A clear assumption immediately popped into her head about what was about to happen, and she calmly took her glass of whiskey from the bar counter, taking a quick step back. Lucifer, however, paid no attention at all to Alex's heavy gaze and continued smiling contentedly — as if his brazen proposal sounded maximally reasonable.

Setting his glass on the bar counter, Alex calmly removed Lucifer's hand from his shoulder with a gesture, and a tender smile suddenly bloomed on his lips.

"Well, it's about to start now," Dean said quietly, comfortably leaning on the far edge of the bar counter and slowly sipping whiskey from his glass.

Maze raised a surprised eyebrow upon hearing this strange comment from Dean. She couldn't understand why Dean had said something like that when such a warm and tender smile was playing on Alex's face. Even Lucifer turned his head toward Dean in confusion, not realizing what these ambiguous words were leading to. But soon he received a comprehensive answer.

Lucifer physically felt himself being firmly grabbed by the collar of his expensive shirt. And before he could turn his head back, his face slammed into the wooden bar counter with a deafening crack. When Lucifer's face met the bar counter, Maze looked intently at Alex and noticed with a shiver that although the same tender smile was still on his face, his rainbow eyes had become completely empty and devoid of any living light — as if he had turned into a completely different person in an instant.

Heavily bracing his hands on the bar counter, Lucifer slowly rose and looked intently at Alex. A predatory smile suddenly bloomed on his face too, after which he sharply grabbed Alex by the back of the head and slammed his face into the bar counter with exactly the same crushing force. Having slammed his face hard into the wood, Alex only shook his head furiously, feeling a very strange and long-forgotten sensation inside.

When Alex finally straightened up completely, Dean's eyes widened in panic from shock the moment he saw Alex's face.

"Dude, you're bleeding," Dean said stunned, pointing a finger at Alex's face.

Hearing Dean's words, Alex slowly raised his hand and touched his nose. Feeling an unfamiliar wet sensation with his fingers, Alex looked down and saw bright drops of blood on his white gloves. Sincerely not understanding what was happening at all, Alex raised a heavy gaze to Lucifer, who, not losing the wide smile on his face in the slightest, calmly rose from his stool and began unhurriedly removing his jacket.

At that moment Alex was quite taken aback, because he distinctly felt a very strange sensation during the face slam into the wooden bar counter. And it was definitely not related to his older brother Lucifer using some hidden magic against him. It was a completely different, long-forgotten feeling of physical pain that he had already successfully forgotten about.

Seeing the sincere bewilderment on his younger brother's face, who was thoughtfully examining the blood on his fingers, Lucifer laughed loudly and cheerfully. After all, he immediately understood that his new relative was completely unaware of one small but extremely important rule that their own Father had once imposed on them.

"It seems you're sincerely surprised, younger brother. Apparently our dear and proper brother Castiel forgot to enlighten you about a small but very amusing family rule," Lucifer said, chuckling, as he slowly removed the gold cufflinks from his shirt sleeves and carefully put them in his trouser pocket.

"What rule?" Alex asked, frowning, gradually realizing that Cas had indeed hidden something critically important from him.

"You see, my dear brother, our common daddy really hates it when his precious children fight among themselves... And the reason for this was that in the distant past, let's say, Michael and I didn't get along very well for a very long time. And we fought damn often, breaking and smashing absolutely everything around us. In the end, our daddy finally got tired of all this cosmic mess. And he forbade us from fighting once and for all in the simplest and most effective way. So that we wouldn't cause large-scale disasters during our usual family quarrels, daddy made it so that our powers upon direct contact with each other are automatically limited to the limits of his favorite creation. Namely — the capabilities of ordinary people," Lucifer said slowly, gradually and carefully rolling up the sleeves of his white shirt.

"You mean that so that none of us kill each other, when we fight among ourselves we essentially become just as fragile and weak as ordinary mortal humans?" Alex asked in surprise, completely not expecting such a setup in his divine family.

"Exactly... And we physically cannot kill each other no matter how much we want to. But pain and bruises we will now feel in all their glory! And since you were the one who started this round first, I, as your older brother, have absolutely nothing against teaching the younger one a good lesson," Lucifer said cheerfully and immediately, without wasting time, kicked Alex hard in the chest with all his strength.

Receiving the crushing blow to the chest, Alex crashed noisily off the stool and fell onto his back. Feeling a dull pain in his chest after the precise hit, Alex only thoughtfully looked at the high ceiling of the Lux club. Lying on the floor, Alex began detachedly thinking that such a harsh rule established by his Father was actually quite justified and correct.

But his calm thoughts instantly gave way to a completely different, wild feeling. Alex began to distinctly feel a strong, primordial excitement from the mere awareness that against Lucifer he would now be fighting no stronger than an ordinary mortal human.

And while Alex lay on the floor next to the overturned stool with which he had just epicly flown, Dean in the audience was sincerely surprised by what he had heard. Even Alex's entire large family at that moment had managed to quickly connect to the live broadcast thanks to the fairy-drone Navi, who always flew after Alex and allowed the girls to remotely observe him at any convenient moment. All of Alex's wives were deeply stunned by what they had heard from Lucifer. And now they were all wildly interested in seeing their husband's further reaction in all the details.

Lucifer looked attentively at Alex, who continued to lie motionless on the floor and wasn't even thinking of getting up. For a second he seriously thought that he had simply miscalculated his strength and his younger brother had just hit his head hard on the hard floor and instantly passed out.

But a moment later, a quiet, guttural laugh began to come from Alex's lips. Gradually this laughter grew louder and louder until it finally turned into insane, booming guffaws that echoed eerily throughout the huge premises of the nightclub.

Lucifer took a cautious step forward and slightly leaned down, looking intently at Alex, who, with a crazy, indecently wide smile on his face, continued to laugh heartily, not taking his eyes off the ceiling.

"Did he hit his head too hard on the floor? And what should I do now? Should I take him to Linda earlier?" Lucifer said thoughtfully, stroking his chin.

"I don't want to say this, but you'd better step back, Lucifer," Dean spoke up, warning Lucifer in a very timely and foresighted manner.

Lucifer lazily turned his head toward Dean and dismissively waved him off, his whole appearance showing that he had fought with his brother far from the first time and nothing unusual would definitely happen here.

Seeing this self-confident gesture, Dean only understandingly shook his head, clearly demonstrating that he would no longer interfere in these turbulent family quarrels on principle. Deciding that everything happening was now strictly not his personal concern, Dean turned to Maze and calmly asked her for a bottle of cold beer so he could watch the upcoming spectacle with his usual comfort.

Maze grinned predatorily and deftly opened the bottle for Dean, sending it sliding with a precise strike right along the bar counter. Catching the flying beer bottle, Dean respectfully raised it toward Lucifer, silently expressing his moral support.

When Lucifer finally turned his head back, Alex was already brazenly standing right next to him. Meeting the gaze of Alex's wildly flickering rainbow eyes, Lucifer broke into a smile of anticipation again. But before the older brother could do anything, Alex sharply grabbed him by the head and slammed his forehead with all his might straight into Lucifer's nose. Lucifer's head jerked unnaturally backward from the powerful blow, and thick blood immediately began to flow heavily from his nose.

Not intending to stop at one precise hit, Alex grabbed Lucifer in a death grip by the back of the head and again slammed his face into the wooden bar counter with a crack. Pressing Lucifer's head to the wood, Alex blindly grabbed the first bottle that came to hand from the shelf with his free hand and smashed it soundly against his older brother's head.

"This is going to be a lot of fun, brother! I promise you! Even if you are my dear brother, I still won't let you brazenly hit on my wife," Alex said harshly, continuing to confidently press Lucifer's blood-covered face to the bar counter.

"So your wife is Alucard? Ha-ha-ha!... Funny. But now the matter is completely different, little brother. You started this first yourself," Lucifer said through laughter, sharply grabbing a heavy glass from the bar counter and smashing it with all his strength against Alex's head.

Reeling from the powerful blow to the head, Alex only slightly shook his hair, convulsively shaking off the remnants of broken glass, and squinted hard from the alcohol that had instantly gotten straight into his eyes.

But the moment he tried to wipe the remnants of the drink from his face, Alex immediately felt another crushing blow to the head. Lucifer had no intention of waiting for his younger brother to fully come to his senses after the first attack. He immediately blindly grabbed the first bottle that came to hand from the counter and smashed it with a crack against Alex's head.

Quickly throwing aside the remaining neck in his hand, Lucifer grabbed the disoriented Alex in a death grip by the collar of his coat and delivered a precise, powerful punch straight to his nose. From this hit, Alex's head jerked unnaturally backward, but the insane, wide smile didn't even think of leaving his bloodied lips.

Before Lucifer could land another quick blow, Alex sharply jerked his head forward. Lucifer's flying fist slammed with all its force straight into Alex's forehead. At that same moment Lucifer physically felt the bones in his own fingers emit a barely audible, unpleasant crunch.

Furiously shaking his hand from the sharp pain, Lucifer barely managed to raise his elbow to his torso in time to somehow protect himself from the blow of the heavy stool that Alex was already swinging with full force. Receiving the crushing blow from the stool, Lucifer flew backward and crashed noisily onto the nearest table, completely knocking it over onto the floor along with himself.

Feeling a dull pain in his arm after the crushing blow from the stool, Lucifer heavily rose from the floor, casually wiping fresh blood from his face with his sleeve. Leaning on a neighboring surviving table, Lucifer saw in time how Alex was rushing straight toward him in a wild frenzy.

Alex quickly closed the distance and sharply jumped. He struck with both feet with all his strength straight into Lucifer's chest, sending his older brother into another long flight again, while he himself heavily crashed by inertia onto a glass coffee table, breaking it with a crack under his own back.

Feeling as if the breath had been completely knocked out of him, Lucifer convulsively clutched at his ribcage, feeling sharp pain in his ribs. Taking his first deep breath, Lucifer finally understood that his younger brother was not shy at all about using the dirtiest street tricks. And from this very awareness Lucifer suddenly burst into loud, hearty laughter — because now this fight was guaranteed to become much more interesting and fun.

Quickly rising from the floor, Lucifer looked intently at Alex, who was likewise heavily getting to his feet, lazily tossing aside large pieces of the broken glass table. Grabbing the first chair that came to hand, Lucifer threw it with a powerful swing straight toward Alex.

Seeing the flying furniture coming at him, Alex instinctively raised a block to protect his head from the blow. And while Alex's entire field of vision was reliably blocked by the chair legs, Lucifer nimbly ran up close, firmly grabbing him by the waist to slam him to the floor with a swing.

However, Alex still managed to intercept Lucifer in time before he could finally pin him on his back. Firmly bracing his feet on the floor, Alex grabbed Lucifer in a death grip with one hand by the neck and with the other clung tightly to the leather belt on his trousers. With a sharp jerk Alex tore Lucifer off the ground, and a moment later they both crashed noisily together onto the glass podium for the dancers.

Simultaneously feeling the dull pain from the hard fall, Alex and Lucifer began slowly rising to their feet. Rising first, Lucifer sharply grabbed Alex by the face and slammed the back of his head against the metal pole with such force that the iron post slightly bent.

Continuing to hold Alex's face tightly, Lucifer pulled him back and slammed the back of his head against the metal post again. Feeling another powerful blow, Alex felt slight dizziness. Furiously shaking his head, Alex grabbed Lucifer's wrist in a strong grip with one hand and sharply struck with the second hand straight into Lucifer's elbow.

Lucifer distinctly heard how his arm was instantly dislocated at the joint. Grabbing his dislocated arm, Lucifer heavily raised his head and looked at Alex. Alex sharply grabbed Lucifer by the shoulder and pulled him toward himself with a powerful jerk. At that same moment Lucifer slammed his face with all his strength into the bent iron post.

And before Lucifer could fully come to his senses, Alex sharply jumped and struck with both feet into Lucifer's back with all his strength. From such a crushing blow the bent iron post could no longer withstand the load and broke with a loud crack.

Lucifer heavily crashed to the floor, vaguely sensing how the bone in his dislocated elbow obediently clicked back into place with a dull snap after the fall. Sensing sudden movement of air behind him, Lucifer instinctively rolled to the side, timely dodging Alex's heavy kick. Rolling aside, Lucifer quickly rose to his feet and looked at Alex, who was already holding the broken iron post in his hands.

Seeing that his younger brother had so quickly acquired a formidable weapon, Lucifer blindly grabbed a bottle of wine from the shelf and immediately smashed it against the railing with a swing. And only at the very last moment did Lucifer notice with horror that it was that very collectible bottle of rare wine that he had bought at auction for a huge amount of money the previous week, and it was supposed to arrive at the club just that day.

Squeezing the broken neck of the expensive wine in his hands, Lucifer frowned furiously, mentally thinking that his brazen younger brother would now guaranteed have to compensate every cent of the damage caused to his elite club.

Alex and Lucifer breathed heavily, staring each other down, and were already fully ready to move on to the second, even more destructive round of their fight. But their furious brawl was interrupted in the same second by a loud, piercing female scream that echoed from the second floor of the club, right where the main entrance was.

"What the hell is going on here?!" came the furious scream of Chloe Decker when she saw in full detail the terrible state of the club and Lucifer himself.

When this sudden scream from Chloe sounded, Alex and Lucifer simultaneously turned their heads and looked at her. They froze in place, examining Chloe, whose face was frozen in an expression of absolute shock and horror at all the chaos she was now seeing right in front of her.

To be continued...

(I actually thought the fight would end quickly, but I got so carried away that I couldn't contain myself. Plus, fights like this between brothers usually end peacefully. Well, that's what I think. And maybe we shouldn't forget that Lucifer isn't exactly a sweetheart, but also a pretty cruel character if the situation demands it. He's Lucifer, for fuck's sake. And anyway, this was all just a tease for Alex and Dean's unexpected adventures to come. I think it's pretty clear what will happen, how, and why. It'll be a little revenge on Lucifer's part. Heh. Okay, I'll go get something to eat. Peace, love, and peace were never an option.)
