"She is a Queen!" Vivian asked and Beth nodded, "Then she has got powers and wealth more than we do?
"Yes of course, she is a Queen in the sea and also going to be a Queen on land, what good fortune she has," Penelope said in envy.
"Good fortune alright but we are going to use the fact that she is not a human to destroy her, the witches are after a mermaid and they would be thrilled to get a Queen mermaid instead of an ordinary one, don't you think?" Beth said and both Vivian and Penelope gasped.
"Are you saying that you are going to meet with the witches and expose about Sabrina to them?" Penelope asked shocked.
"I dare not, those creatures are cunning and sly as a fox, I can't go meet them myself!" Beth said with widen eyes, "There is someone I am going to meet that would do that instead, someone who hates Sabrina to the very core of her heart," Beth said grinning, as Penny and Vivian looked at her
Sabrina sat in her room next morning, she picked up the book Lucian had given her and started reading.
Tonight they would be going back to Alice to get the ritual done, in the book she was reading, she saw how a mermaid could practice her abilities, she kept the book on her bed, went into her bathroom, filled the tub with water and knelt beside it, she raised her hands but nothing happened, she opened her eyes and then try again, still nothing happened, she sighed then tried again, still nothing. But it should work, she thought to herself and tried one last time, still nothing, she sighed and got up then she heard TRY AGAIN! The voice had said and Sabrina turned startled, looking around.
"Who is it!" She said in panic, "Is anyone in here? Lucian?" Still no one answered her, she was about to leave but then decided to try again one last time, she knelt down in front of the filled tub and focused with her eyes closed, she raised her hands and suddenly she heard the sound of water and opened her eyes, she was surprised and happy when she saw water rise and form into a ball, she stared harder at it and the water like ball turned into ice with pointy edges, her eyes widen and the ice shattered and fell into the tub water, she was surprised at what just happened and out of excitement, she got up and ran towards Lucian's room, she saw Rosaline coming out of his room, ignoring her, she proceeded to knock on his door but Rosaline stopped her hand by holding it tightly and glaring at her.
"Where do you think you are going to, Sabrina?" Rosaline asked with a frown. Sabrina pulled her wrist away from the vampiress whose eyes widen.
"I want to see Lucian," Sabrina said.
"You can't see him, now go back to your room," Rosaline commanded with a glare.
"Why can't I? He is my husband too, I can see him whenever I please," Sabrina said with a frown.
"You have got nerves, Sabrina. When I tell you to do something, you do it without question okay?" Rosaline said
"No, Rosaline," Sabrina replied which shocked Rosaline at how she said her name simply without respect or fear, "I have every right to Lucian as you also do,"
"Bitch! You are not going to see Lucian, you are always clingy towards my husband like a leech, stay away," As Rosaline said this, she pulled and shoved Sabrina away, Sabrina's eyes widen as she staggered back, while Rosaline grinned looking at her, "Now leave before I make you regret ever coming to this castle," Sabrina turned and walked back to her room unhappily, she had wanted to show Lucian what she had learnt to do but that woman wouldn't allow her, she sighed and picked up the book and continued reading.
By noon Rosaline was with Selene in the private ladies parlour, a maid came in and bowed.
"What is it?" Rosaline asked her
"There... There is a woman outside she said she would like to meet you for something urgent,milady" the maid said bowing.
"Who is she?" Selene asked the maid with a frown.
"She is the daughter of one of the King's workers, Lady Beth,"Rosaline frowned in confusion, she doesn't know this Beth.
"What does she say she wants?" Rosaline asked.
"She said it is something very urgent, Milady," the maid replied. After deep thought Rosaline said,
"Let her in,"When Elizabeth entered the room, she bowed in greetings to them both, who just stared at her.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" Rosaline asked, she could smell that this one is a werewolf and so could Selene.
"I am Elizabeth, daughter of Silas Cirus, who walks for the King, I am here to discuss something important with you, Milady," Beth said with a smile.
"Start talking," Rosaline said, they were sitting but Elizabeth was still left standing, Rich brats, Beth thought to herself.
"Can we talk in private?" Beth said and Selene glared at her.
"Lowly werewolf, what is it that you want to say and can't say it in front of me?" Selene snapped.
"Yes," Rosaline added glaring at her.
"I'm sorry if I offended you both but it is really something important that I have to discuss with Lady Rosaline, alone," Beth said with worry on her face, Rosaline looked at her for a while, then turned to look at Selene.
"Please excuse us," Rosaline said to Selene before turning to look at Beth, "And if what you are about to tell me isn't at all important and you just wasted my time, you will really regret it," Rosaline said with a frown.
"I assure you, it is," Beth said as she watched Selene get up, glared at her and left the room, "Can I sit?"
"No you cannot," Rosaline replied, "Start talking, I don't have time to spend with you for too long,"
"It is about Sabrina, Milady," Beth said with a smile and Rosaline frowned, she hated that name, she glared at Beth.
"Are you one of her friends?" Rosaline asked glaring hard at Beth.
"Oh no I'm not.... Infact I despise that woman with the very core of my heart," Beth said with a frown, "She is a bitch and lacks respect for those who are wealthier than she is,"
"So what did you come for?"
"I know you hate her as much as I do, Milady, she seduced your husband and got him to marry her, I am sure that you are not happy with that,"
"Tell me what concern you in this that you are saying?" Rosaline asked with a glare.
"I have got news about Sabrina, that can enable you to ruin her," Beth said with a grin.
"If you have something that can ruin her, then why aren't you doing it and instead come to me?"
"That's because my hands are tied, Milady and you are the only one that can do this, if you do this and ruin her you would have your husband back to yourself alone," Beth said and watched Rosaline go deep in thought.
"What news do you have about her?"
"Sabrina isn't an ordinary human," Beth said with a grin, as Rosaline's eyes widen.
"What are you saying? She is not a human?"
"Yes Milady," Beth replied.
"A witch?" Rosaline asked.
"She is not a witch but a mermaid,"
"What!" Rosaline was indeed shocked.
"She is not just any ordinary mermaid, Milady but a Queen mermaid, she is royalty," Beth said with a frown, not liking the fact that Sabrina was wealthier than she was.
"How can I believe what you are saying, werewolf? What if you are lying?" Rosaline said with a glare and a look of suspicion.
"It wouldn't enable you to be able to ruin her but you can ask your husband, the Prince, he knows about this... Infact they both came to ask our Alpha for help, I have also heard that the witches are after the Queen mermaid for their ritual, if you could seek the witches help and assist them in capturing Sabrina, then you would have her out of your way for good," Beth explained with a grin on her pretty face looking at Rosaline, who was in a deep thought, "I would have gone and done it myself but I fear for being caught by my Alpha but you, Milady, have no one to fear," Beth said again and Rosaline tilted her chin up in an arrogant way.
"I see that you are on my side and despise, Sabrina," Rosaline said.
"With the very core of my heart, that woman had humiliated I and my friends in public, she had always acted like she was better than us, Now that she has found out that she is a Queen, she would surely become even more arrogant and spoilt," Beth said with a frown.
"Very well then, I will think of it," Rosaline said as she got up, went to open a safe in the room and brought out a bag of gold coins, she stretched out her hand to Beth, who frowned in confusion.
"Take it, I'm sure you came here hoping that after all you will tell me, I'd give you money, you won't be able to finish this for the rest of your life," Rosaline said jingling the coins with a grin on her face.
Beth reddened in embarrassment, Someone really needed to teach this vampiress some manners, Beth thought as she shook her head.
"No, that won't be necessary, I don't need the coin, I am wealthy enough, I didn't come here for money, I just want the destruction of that evil woman, that's all I want," Beth said forcing a smile on her face after being looked down upon by this vampiress.
"Very well, you can leave now," Rosaline said and once again Beth was speechless. This vampiress truly is arrogant, she couldn't even thank her for the information she had provided her, instead she told her to leave, she was about to leave but stopped and turned.
"May I say something?" Beth asked
"Go ahead," Rosaline said frowning.
"It would be better if you don't let Sabrina or anyone know that you know about her-" Rosaline interrupted her.
"Do you think I'm stupid, of course I won't do that!" Rosaline glared at her, "Now leave!" She snapped and Beth quickly hurried out, spoilt brat Beth thought as she left while Rosaline grinned wickedly.
That night
Sabrina found something again in the book, she wanted to transform without having to go to the sea, she read in the book that she just had to add salt into the tub and sit in it, she got up and went to do just that, she stripped naked and stepped into the salt water, she sat there for a while and then suddenly saw her legs start to join together, she gasped when it transformed into a golden tail, it was indeed beautiful, she grinned as she moved it up and down.
"Beautiful," She heard Lucian say from behind her and turned shocked, he had teleported again into her room and this time she was naked, she quickly covered her breast with her hands which could barely hide what was there, she turned red in embarrassment.
"Can you knock before coming in?" Sabrina said with her eyes wide.
"Why should I? You are my wife, I can come in even when you are naked," Lucian whispered into her ear as she continued sitting still in the tub and covering her full breast.
