"I understand, thank you for clarifying. I only hope to do my best with all that is expected of me," Violet said, looking down at her hands playing with her thumbs. She was shivering, her heart was filling with sadness, and her eyes were watering. She sniffled, trying to pull herself together. But her feeling still weighed her down and left her overwhelmed by all of this.
Just constantly reminded that there will be more nights like last night. They will touch her and drink from her, they will force her to have sex with them anytime they want. And she has to let all of these men have their way with her. This was her fate from birth, and there was nothing she would ever be able to do to change it.
How was she going to keep living like this? She didn't know how she could handle more nights like last night. Last night was the worst night of her life so far. "Oh gosh, are there going to be worse things than last night?"
Though she didn't mind Asher's company. She didn't know what it would be like with the other three brothers.
"I have yet to formally introduce myself. Yesterday, my brothers' lust was overwhelming, so I left as soon as I saw that you were pleasing to the eye." He said, standing up and walking over to me. Taking my hand and kissing it, "I am Jeremy Drakarys, a Pure Blood Prince."
"Pleased, my prince. I am Violet Velmont."
He smiled a bit. "No, you're Violet Drakarys, Princess of Vampires."
And in that moment, my heart dropped. She might be meat to them, but at least she has one person here who acknowledges her, at least having a name. That changes everything for me.
"I've never had a friend, and I hope that we can be friends," Jeremy said.
"I'd like that," she said with a slight smile.
"Let's eat," he said.
They sat quietly, savoring their lunch among the enchanting sounds of the night. Crickets chirped and frogs croaked, while a gentle breeze rustled the leaves. A few fireflies glittered like stars in the bushes and on flowers nearby. As the meal drew to a close, they engaged in minimal conversation, and she desperately to take a walk and explore the garden.
"Shall we go have a look at my garden?" Jeremy said. "This is what I do with my free time."
The garden was beautiful, even at night the colors were vibrant. All kinds of flowers and bushes. Arranged with a pattern, it was pleasing to the eyes. It flowed like seamlessly. The path was lined with stones that glowed with the moonlight. She wished she could see it better; her eyes were good at night vision but nothing like a vampire's.
"Oh, wow, you grow such beautiful flowers, how many different kinds?" Violet asked.
"You know I lost track about 70 years ago, and I just buy more when I see something I like, whether I have it or not." Jeremy continued. "Music and flowers bring me peace. My mother having passed many years ago, me so having those heathens as my brothers has made me lonely."
"It'll be my pleasure to be your friend," Violet said softly with a sweet smile. "And I'm sorry about your mother. Mine died giving birth to me."
Jeremy just looked down into her eyes and stared with a questioning look but just kept walking.
"Ms. Violet, what is your favorite flower you have seen since you've been in my garden?"
She hadn't expected that question.
"To be completely honest, my eyesight isn't as good as yours, so I'd like to answer the question tomorrow night when I can see the flowers in the daylight." Violet said so tenderly. "But with the vision I have now, I'd like to say the roses. I always loved how they didn't close much at night."
"Interesting," was Jeremy's only response. Feeling like she might have said something wrong. She says again, "but like I said, I hope to see more during the day."
He could smell her nervousness, and it kinda turned him on. When they started to pass the tree on their left, he grabbed her suddenly, pinning her against the tree. Putting his arms on either side of her, he blocked her.
"I can smell your nervousness, and frankly, it's kinda enticing me," Jeremy whispered into her ear. "I wonder if your blood tastes as sweet as you smell."
Sending shivers down her spine. Her body stiffened again, recalling the last time she had been pinned.
She shrunk into herself, squeezed her eyes tight and looked away.
"Your blood is intoxicating; I've been restraining myself our entire lunch, but I can't take it anymore. I have to taste you."
Tensing as he gripped her small arms tightly. He licks the space between her neck and shoulder before grazing his elongated fangs piercing her skin delicately.
The pain and pressure of his sharp bite made her grit her teeth and winced. Whimpering a bit, she submitted to his bite. He drew her blood into his mouth, sucking hard on her neck.
"I won't take much, just a taste," he said, taking a breath and then biting back down. She inhales deeply again at the pierce of his fangs once more. Biting her lip to stifle a scream from the pain. He drained her, taking in as much of her as he could. Pleasure now starting to build in her from the bites' aphrodisiac effects, she moaned softly. It was all so much for her. His grip on her arms becoming the only thing supporting her, he pushed his body into her more. His cold body made her nipples so hard you could see them poking through her dress. Pain, pleasure, pain, pleasure. She was getting whiplash from all of it.
Finally letting go, he said with almost a pant. "Your blood is like the hot sun on my skin; it's so hot it burns almost. You're absolutely delicious. Licking his lips, he leaned back up, feeling satisfied having finally tasted his maiden.
"I wish I could keep you all to myself. Make you my personal plaything. You're so cute when you look so delicate and scared," Jeremy said.
She slid to the ground, limp from him drinking her blood. She was lost in space,
thinking about what she experienced in those moments. She was so distracted she hadn't even noticed Riley walking up to them.
