Someone who was having it even harder was Audrey.
Honestly, it should have been expected considering that the corruption energy first appeared as blood.
And her element is blood.
But it wasn't that she was getting oppressed by it to the point of not being able to do anything.
It was the exact opposite. She felt drawn to the creatures. She wanted to jump on them and suck them dry to quench the thirst that suddenly hit her the moment she smelled the creatures.
It was almost irresistible to her. And she wasn't the only one. It was the same for all the vampires on the battlefield.
A few of the weakest ones present couldn't control themselves and pounced on the creatures.
The end result was what you'd expect. They were corrupted almost instantly.
What was interesting and horrifying about this expected result was how it didn't end there.
