Chapter 487 - 487: Minced Meat Voldy Salad

Mordred didn't answer Kasenhis's question.

Instead, he suddenly drew his wand, pulled it slightly back as though charging up, then unleashed a bolt of sickly green lightning straight at Voldemort.

Voldemort naturally didn't just sit there waiting to die.

One of his greatest advantages in battle had always been the sheer strength of his magic. With the same opening move and the same spell, his magic could simply tear his opponent's apart.

But things were different now.

Mordred's magical power was no weaker than Voldemort's.

If anything, it was even stronger.

Trying to directly overpower a Killing Curse through sheer magical strength was obviously no longer an option.

And a Killing Curse of this level...

If you put a tank here, it would probably punch straight through it, let alone Voldemort.

So what could he do?

Dodge.

Meanwhile, Kasenhis watched as Mordred seemed perfectly capable of controlling the entire battle by himself and scratched his head.

Maybe he didn't need to work himself to death after all.

He could just play support and slack off a little.

Wouldn't that be much more comfortable?

Decision made.

Kasenhis simply pulled out his Ars Nouveau spellbook, started applying shields and buffs to Mordred, and threw some little slowing tricks at Voldemort.

Still, just to be safe, he quietly activated the charging sequence for the orbital dragon-slaying cannon in his office.

If this Voldemort actually managed to launch a proper counterattack, Kasenhis could simply kill him in one shot.

That said, Kasenhis honestly wasn't too worried.

After all, the entire manor this Voldemort was staying in contained only himself, Barty Crouch Jr., and that Death Eater who wasn't even important enough to have a name.

This one was definitely a fake.

"Oh, right, Mordred. We can't kill him. We need his body and soul to trace the location of his Horcrux," Kasenhis reminded him.

And that warning also made Voldemort realise something.

The next instant, he turned his wand toward himself, preparing to hit himself with the Killing Curse.

"Za...

Warudo!"

Three seconds was enough time to do quite a lot.

For example, take Voldemort's wand away and snap it in half.

Then pull out a lump of wool and stuff it into Voldemort's mouth.

The moment time resumed, Kasenhis followed up with a fully charged punch to the back of Voldemort's head.

"Done."

Kasenhis wrapped Voldemort tightly in obsidian like a mummy, making sure he couldn't move so much as a finger.

Of course, for a wizard at Voldemort's level, that might not actually be all that useful.

Sometimes, wizards of this calibre could use certain forms of magic with nothing more than a thought.

Apparition, for example.

But...

Kasenhis very naturally carved a hole into the obsidian mummy and inserted a charged Ender Pearl.

"Done."

Then he added two handles to the two mummies, picked one up in each hand, and returned directly to Black's old house with Mordred.

"Keep an eye on these for me. I'm going to check on the Voldemort at the other location. If I get there early enough, I might still be able to catch him too."

With that, Kasenhis Ender Blinked directly to Bolpero.

After Kasenhis landed, he began sorting through the magical fluctuations and spatial traces in the area.

Unfortunately, the Voldemort living here had indeed already Ender Blinked away.

When Kasenhis returned to Black's old house, he found the young wizards gathered around the obsidian mummy imprisoning Voldemort, looking at it from every possible angle.

Voldemort, meanwhile, still couldn't move at all, like something stuck inside a washing machine...

"Guys, this is Voldemort, the most dangerous wizard in the magical world. Couldn't you at least show him a tiny bit of the respect he deserves?" Kasenhis said helplessly.

"Professor, why should we respect a murderer?" Harry asked, striking straight at the soul of the matter.

"...Fair point. Just don't pull the wool out of his mouth. Other than that, do whatever you want."

Kasenhis shrugged, clearly agreeing.

Still, after sitting on the sofa and thinking about it for a while, Kasenhis decided this wasn't quite safe enough.

Just like those idiot people in Horror movies who always got out of bed to follow the obvious ghostly voice at night, Kasenhis had a feeling that even though these young wizards were already sixteen or seventeen, there was still a very real chance they might pull the wool out of Voldemort's mouth.

So he simply handcrafted an obsidian mouthguard and fitted it over Voldemort's mouth.

"Hmm. Cover up the face and leave just the mouth showing, and it actually looks kind of erotic," Sirius commented while pulling out a magical camera and taking pictures of Voldemort, planning to mail them to the editorial office of the Daily Prophet later.

Kasenhis and Voldemort both turned toward Sirius at exactly the same time.

Well, Voldemort couldn't actually turn his head that far.

He moved his eyes.

But the meaning was identical.

What the hell was this guy talking about?

Kasenhis hadn't been shocked for long before Dumbledore and Grindelwald returned as well.

They were carrying a huge sack.

Inside were pieces of Voldemort that Grindelwald had chopped apart.

"What the hell did you two do?"

Kasenhis stared at them in even greater confusion.

This wasn't right.

This didn't seem like something the two of them would do!

"We had no choice. He resisted too fiercely, and this particular Voldemort seemed to possess some kind of flesh magic. We couldn't just kill him outright with the Killing Curse. Damaging his body also wasn't enough to restrain him effectively, so we had no choice but to cut him into pieces, bag the pieces separately, and then bring everything back," Dumbledore explained while wiping away sweat.

Was that something a normal human being would say?

Why did it sound like they were talking about a pig that was too heavy to carry whole, so they chopped it into pieces to make transport easier?

So Grindelwald had finally remembered his future alternate account, had he?

Kasenhis walked over and kicked the constantly writhing sack.

Inside were chunks of flesh in all kinds of shapes, each one squirming continuously.

The sort of thing that would cost you SAN just by looking at it for too long.

Kasenhis sent all the young wizards upstairs, then opened the sack.

"So after all that, I still have to assemble him myself."

He sighed helplessly.

When it came to extreme assembly work...

The mummified Voldemort standing nearby could only watch with his own eyes as Kasenhis assembled another version of himself from the feet upward.

Finally, Kasenhis picked up Voldemort's snarling head and attached it to the neck.

Twist right.

"All done."

Kasenhis clapped his hands, then immediately slapped the freshly assembled Voldemort across the face, sending him into a baby-like sleep.

After that, he carefully wrapped him in obsidian.

"That should do it."

Kasenhis let out a sigh of relief.

After assembling him for so long, he could finally rest.

And Grindelwald too.

Sure, chopping him up was one thing, but why cut him into such tiny pieces?

Kasenhis had almost put him back together wrong.

"Next time, you can just mince him into tiny pieces. Then we can knead Voldemort back into human shape like plasticine," Kasenhis joked.
