Whenever two people who shared a close bond were reunited after a long separation, there was always an endless stream of things to talk about. It was simply human nature, and Astrid and Amalia were no exception.
The moment they boarded the carriage, the white-stockinged little girl, who had dressed herself up like a vanilla cupcake for her elder sister, took the initiative to straddle Astrid's lap. She told her about the various political decrees she had implemented during this time, the many amusing incidents that had occurred throughout the imperial capital, and every minute detail involved in constructing the skyport.
Of course, there was also the most important thing of all: the passionate emotions that had continued accumulating, which could never truly be conveyed through paper and ink.
After all, counting from the day Astrid had left the imperial capital, Amalia had gone more than half a year without feeling her elder sister's warmth.
