Max and Aaron entered the building and went straight to reception, where they received temporary passes. These would allow them limited access, including use of the elevators, but only to certain floors.
Max found the situation rather interesting. A member of the Stern family was standing right under their noses, yet no one reacted to him at all.
He knew few people would recognise Max Stern's face, but he had thought recent events might have changed that slightly. Apparently, that wasn't the case.
He still wasn't much of a public figure. Most of what he did was under the company's name rather than his own, allowing the Billion Bloodline to draw more attention than the individual behind it.
The building also gave Max one of his first proper looks at the corporate side of the Stern Empire. He had visited other family members' businesses, including Bobo's research facility, but this place felt different.
