Chapter 12 - mansion and the meteor

The next day, we all ventured into the forest, searching for the perfect clearing to build upon. We eventually discovered a spacious, quiet area big enough for a two-story mansion and with a backyard suitable for a garden, all with Genos's help.

My sister surprisingly agreed to assist with the Blizzard Group in digging a hole 20 feet deep. We connected it to the main pipeline, supporting it with wooden beams and reinforcing them with steel.

Once the foundation was laid, the rest of the construction process was much smoother. With everyone pitching in, we finished it within two weeks. The house had at least ten rooms, four bathrooms, a living area, and a training room capable of withstanding intense fights.

After that, Kushina and the Mother Toad headed into the forest for training. As for Genos, he and Courtney, who initially hated each other, have grown closer over time—thanks in part to my constant blood injections secured by the blood seal. She's now much stronger than when she first fought him, but with his upgrades, he's become stronger too. Their fights are always evenly matched unless she uses more blood from her previous blood patch to enter full power.

While they trained, I made sure the house was fully furnished: I bought a 5-inch TV for the living room, a cozy sofa for all of us, a dining table, and several chairs. I also picked up new cooking utensils and better-quality food. After finishing that, I went to one of the spare rooms and unpacked the stuff Fubuki bought for me—she got me a new gaming console and some video games. I set up everything, transforming the room into my personal gaming zone.

Later that night, I cooked cheeseburgers and fries for dinner. Courtney and Ginos came in, their bodies scraped and bruised—well, Ginos's were a bit less, but Courtney's looked pretty rough.

"You're lucky, Tin Can," she said, flopping onto the table.

"It's got nothing to do with luck. I'm just better than you," Ginos retorted as he took a seat.

"If I weren't so tired, I'd smack you right now," Courtney replied.

Suddenly, the front door swung open. Kushina and the Mother Toad stepped in. Kushina looked exhausted—her hair a mess, covered in dirt and grime.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"No, sage mode is a lot harder than I expected," she said as she sat down.

"She's made good progress today. However, it'll probably take her a few more days before she can fully master it," said the Mother Toad.

"Since you've been putting in a lot of effort, I made your favorite—ramen," I said, passing her a big bowl.

"This is just one of the reasons I love you," she replied, starting to dig in. I handed out the burgers and fries to the others, and we all sat down to eat together.

"Hey, guys, I've been thinking," I began, catching their attention. "With all these strong monsters coming our way and me disappearing sometimes, I think it's a good idea for the four of us to form an S-class hero team. We could handle any threat that's beyond one of us alone."

Courtney nodded. "I don't see a problem with that."

Kushina added, "I've been on a team before, so I'm all in."

Genos smiled. "It would be an honor to team up with the master."

"Great! Now, all we need is a team name," I said, prompting us to think.

"How about the Fearsome Four?" Courtney suggested.

"That's a good start, but what if we add more members later?" I replied.

Kushina snorted. "See? It's a good name, but I'm surprised the mosquito thought of it."

Courtney shot her a glare. "Oh, really? Then what do you suggest?"

"How about… the Ferocious and Good-Looking Fighters?" Kushina quipped, earning surprised looks.

"That's a terrible name," Courtney shot back.

"Master and his Disciples," suggested Ginos.

"No, we're not his students," I said. "It's just you. We need a name that represents all of us." Kushina playfully hit him on the head—harder than she thought, making him wince.

"What about calling ourselves the Elementals?" I proposed. "Each of us has control over a different element—fighting with fire, water, lightning, and blood. Kushina controls water and lightning; Courtney has basic control over blood to boost herself; I can manipulate various elements."

They looked at each other, considering. "That actually makes sense," Kushina admitted.

"We all have access to our own elements in our unique ways, so I think it fits," Courtney agreed.

"I expected nothing less from you, master," Genos said.

"Alright, let's move on to something else," I suggested. "Who should be the leader?"

"That's obvious," Genos said confidently. The others glanced at him.

"It should be the master," Ginos argued. "Without him, this mansion and all of us wouldn't even exist. If he hadn't saved Kushina and Courtney that day, they might have been killed. He's the only logical choice."

They nodded in agreement. "Okay, I promise not to let you down. As for the name, Elementals, I'll get it officially recognized by the Hero Association," I said as I cleaned my plate, put it in the dishwasher, and quickly submitted the paperwork.

By the next morning, we were officially registered as the Elementals, a team of S-class heroes wielding control over the elements.

That night, I climbed into bed, about to fall asleep when two figures joined me—sleeping on my back and front.

"Why are you guys here? You have your own rooms now," I asked, surprised.

"Isn't it obvious?" Courtney raised an eyebrow.

"What's obvious?" I asked, still confused.

"We like you, dummy. That's why I dressed up pretty for our first date," Kushina said.

"But you barely get along," I pointed out.

"Because we like you. That's why I've stayed calm, kept a gun against your head just in case you weren't here to stop me. I care about you. And that's not all," she added, kissing me. I was shocked, but she pulled away.

"I love you," she said.

"Hey, we agreed I'd go first," Kushina said, turning me towards her for a kiss.

"Count yourself lucky—you have two beautiful girlfriends willing to share you. Most others wouldn't be so open to it," Courtney smirked as Kushina released her kiss.

"Yeah, but why are you two so accepting of this?" I asked.

"In my world, it's normal to have more than one wife if you're the last of your clan or extremely powerful. I'm the last Uzumaki, and you're incredibly strong. As of now, you're one of only three telekinesis users—so wouldn't it make sense to strengthen that number?" she explained logically.

"For me, it's instinct. When your DNA fused with mine, my mosquito instincts kicked in. Animals feel the need to breed with the strongest. That's why I'm attracted to you. In the wild, having multiple mates is normal—to produce powerful offspring," Courtney said.

"I'm not ready to be a father yet," I replied.

"Can you imagine giving Naruto lots of brothers and sisters to play with?" Kushina envisioned little children with various hair colors—green, black, red—running around, with Naruto as their protective big brother.

"Why not wait until the right time?" I asked.

"Fine, we'll save the fun for the wedding night," Courtney said as she and Kushina drifted off to sleep.

(I might be too good-looking for my own good, but that's probably not a problem in the long run.) I thought, confident I could handle whatever comes my way.

The next morning, we woke up to a phone call.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked, getting out of bed.

"This is Jake, class S-18 hero," said a voice on the line.

"Yes, I can tell you're from the Hero Commission. What's the issue?" I asked.

"We have a problem involving all S-class heroes. We need you and your team to report to HQ," the administrator said.

"Alright, we'll be there in five minutes," I replied, heading out of bed and waking the others. They quickly got dressed, and Genos was already waiting by the door.

"Kushina, maybe leave a couple of shadow clones here with Naruto, just in case," I suggested. It's better to be safe—could be anything.

Kushina created two shadow clones, and they headed out to watch over Naruto while we took off to the Hero Association. We flew there together, landing in front of the building.

"You must be the new team I've heard about—Elemental," said a grumpy old man with a mustache.

"He's Silverfing, class S-3," Ginos told us.

"Do you know why you've been called here?" I asked, speaking for the team.

"Everyone else is at headquarters. This branch is empty. They've only called us here because it's something impossible," he explained.

"And what's the threat today?" Kushina asked.

"The threat level is a dragon. In about 35 minutes, a massive meteor will crash into City Z. They want us to see if nearby S-class heroes can do anything about it," he said.

"So, a meteor's heading for us now? Why haven't they evacuated yet?" Courtney asked.

"Maybe they think we can handle it, or they want to avoid panic," he replied.

Before we moved, I gathered the team and we headed to a nearby rooftop.

"Are we evacuating?" Kushina asked.

"No, we're stopping that meteor," I said, feeling confident.

"How?" Courtney pressed.

"Simple. First, Kushina, you'll try to hold it back with water. I'll need your help with that," I said.

"I'll try to suspend it in the air while you and Ginos move it over the ocean," I added.

"But if you drop it in the ocean, it'll cause a tidal wave that could wipe out the city," Ginos pointed out.

"Trust me. And Ginos, try out those new arms the doctor made for you," I encouraged.

Before we could act, a hero appeared—a giant robot with three glowing red eyes.

"You are Bofei, right?" Ginos asked.

"He's a class S-7 hero," I explained.

"And you're the new team called Elemental," he said.

"Bofei, help us stop the meteor?" I asked.

"I'm just here to test my new weapon. The meteor's a perfect target," he replied coldly.

"Are you serious?" Courtney exclaimed.

"Why are you even a hero?" Kushina asked.

"That's stupid. You'd be toast, too," I said looking at this guy was just crazy or stupid

"I didn't come here for that. I'm just testing. My real body's elsewhere," he insisted, turning back toward the meteor, which was getting closer.

"Should we stop him?" Courtney wondered.

"If he destroys the meteor, it's fine. If he fails, at least it'll be smaller," I responded. Either way, we had to take it down.

We watched as missiles from Moonlight lit up the sky, causing a bright explosion—yet it did nothing.

"Alright, time for plan B," I declared.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" Kushina summoned a colossal water dragon rushing toward the meteor. I used my elemental powers to draw water from near City Z, forming a huge hand that reached out to grasp the meteor. The two attacks combined cooled the meteor, creating a massive cloud of steam.

Continuing with water attacks, Kushina and I gradually chipped away at it.

"You guys are up," I told Courtney and Ginos. They nodded, and I flew toward the meteor. I handed Courtney three blood packs—she activated into her full power mode, unleashing her strongest form, while Ginos, with his upgraded arms, started pushing from the side, using his hands to accelerate.

After their relentless efforts, they managed to guide the meteor over the water, where I froze it solid.

"Now what?" Kushina asked, exhausted.

"Now, this," I said. I charged my right fist with Armament Haki, infused it with energy and lightning, and activated my Avatar State, greatly amplifying my strength. I aimed straight at the meteor's core, creating a crack as I struck. Before the fragments could hit the ground, I sliced through them with my sword, dispersing the debris into the sea.
