After successfully showing the meteor, we headed home exhausted, taking a shower to wash off the dirt and sweat from destroying the meteor.
Later, we all gathered in the living room—Ginos sitting on a chair next to the couch, while Courtney and Kushina rested their heads on my left and right shoulders as we watched the news covering our ordeal.
"In a shocking turn of events, four S-class heroes managed to destroy the meteor, saving City Z. We're told this group is called Elemental, and its leader is the little brother of Hell's Blizzard and Tornado of Terror," reported the news anchor.
"Hey guys, do you think we've moved up in the rankings?" I asked.
"We better have," Courtney replied.
"Yeah, we saved the entire city. We should have definitely moved up," Kushina agreed.
"You're right, we did. I think I leveled up," Genos said, pulling out his phone.
"Really? What rank are we now?" I asked.
"I went from 21 to 20, Courtney from 20 to 19, Kushina from 19 to 18, and you, master, from 18 to 16," Ginos explained.
"Wait, I went up by two levels?" I said, surprised.
"Of course. You shattered a meteor, then broke it down into smaller pieces, which fell harmlessly into the ocean. I'm surprised you're not even higher," Kushina said.
(Thinking to myself: When she puts it like that, it makes sense. I didn't even go all out—if I wanted, I could just send the meteor back into space using telekinesis. I haven't tested its full limits yet, but I know I can move heavy objects. Still, I'm unsure if I could send an entire meteor back into space or where I'd send it.)
Just then, a news alert appeared: "Breaking news—A giant tentacle monster is attacking City J," the reporter announced, as a massive octopus-headed creature clad in a toga appeared on the screen.
"I'll handle it," I said, getting up.
"Mind if I come with you?" Courtney asked.
"No, it's probably only a demon or tiger-level monster, but I should deal with it before anyone gets hurt," I replied, slipping back into my suit and shedding my sword. I left the mansion through the front door.
Flying over the city, I spotted the tentacle monster in front.
"You wouldn't happen to be related to Sea Kelp with that green hair of yours?" it taunted.
Not bothering to be kind, I drew my sword and sliced him in half within a second. I then watched as the pieces disintegrated into bits.
Once that was done, I headed back home, where everyone was already back to training. Meanwhile, I went to a secluded part of the mansion—my personal training room—where I could really let loose. I wasn't sure how powerful I'd become, so I decided to test myself.
The room was equipped with robots, lasers, gravity seals—planted by Kushina. As I stepped in, I immediately activated the seals, feeling five times Earth gravity pressing down on me, making me collapse to the floor. I knew I needed this to get stronger. Slowly, I pushed myself to my feet, eventually able to stand. After an hour of training in the intense gravity, I adapted enough to walk comfortably.
I started practicing dodging lasers, which fired at me without warning or I was trying to improve my baseline skills—believing that strengthening my fundamental abilities would boost my overall powers.
I spent two hours on this before turning the lasers off. Next, I worked on my telekinesis. Focusing on a distant mountain, I managed to shake it, lifting the top and surprising myself with how powerful I had become since drinking that potion.
I thought: I should be close to Tatsumaki now because I did that effortlessly. Maybe I should give that potion to Fubuki. No one was around, so I tucked the bottles away in the back and landed softly. Then, I charged up my energy, focusing on the bottles and letting out a loud scream.
"Haaa!" My hair turned yellow as I went Super Saiyan, feeling the energy surge through my body, making me fifty times faster. I tested my new speed by rushing across cities in seconds, nearly reaching the speed of light before stopping exactly where I started.
Speed? Check. Now, what about strength? I turned a nearby mountain into rubble with a punch, disintegrating it effortlessly.
Strength? Exponentially increased. Next, I wanted to see how my elements had improved. Charging up water, earth, fire, and lightning, I tested their new capabilities—each more powerful than before. Water was now twice as deadly, earth spikes shot out massively, fire burned as fiercely as Ozai in his fight against Aang. Lightning moved twice as fast as it ever had.
Finally, I tried combining Super Saiyan with the Avatar State. At first, it was tough—the Avatar requires calmness, while Super Saiyan is frantic. But I found a good balance; my eyes turned white, and my power doubled, offering a sixty-fold increase.
I then spent the rest of the day training, pushing my limits further, preparing for an inevitable confrontation with a certain alien threat.
Afterward, I returned home, took a quick shower, and went to bed. The next morning, Genos brought in breakfast while we watched TV. Suddenly, a news interruption caught our attention: "Multiple monsters are emerging from the sea, calling themselves Sea Folk. A-class hero Stinger Bradley is wounded and needs assistance," the report announced.
"Of course, just when I was getting comfortable," Kushina muttered as she and Courtney prepared to leave.
"No need. Sit here and enjoy breakfast while Ginos and I handle this. It shouldn't be too hard," I said.
Reluctantly, the girls nodded, putting their plates down, then grabbing their jackets.
"I'm ready when you are, master," Ginos said.
"Give me a minute to grab my gear," I replied, rushing upstairs to put on my hero suit and sword, then heading downstairs.
The system notified me: [Mission: Defeat the Sea Folk, 2000 points + 2 free card draws].
"Let's go help that Stinger guy," I said, lifting off towards City J. I flew at a leisurely pace so Ginos wouldn't have to strain to keep up.
"Master, should I scout ahead?" he asked.
"Sure, that's probably the best move—we don't know what we're walking into," I agreed, letting him fly past. As I looked down, I saw a guy riding a bike—an obvious hero, Newman Winder.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, surprising him. He turned to look, only to be even more surprised.
"You're the S-class hero leading the Elemental group," he said.
"And you're the leader of the C-class heroes," I replied, and he nodded.
"It's an honor to meet you," he said.
"Why are you heading this way? You know you can't win. Why risk the fight?" I asked, genuinely curious.
"Because I have to. If someone's in danger and I can help, then I will, even if it costs me." His determination impressed me.
"So, should I fly you there, or do you want to keep riding your bike?" I asked.
"Riding helps me train my legs," he said.
Suddenly, an explosion rocked the area. I rushed to the source and found a lightning hero unconscious, injured on his cheek. I quickly rushed him to the hospital. By the time I returned, another explosion went off. Flying at top speed, I realized I might have to move to the next site—where the Deep Sea King was attacking and Genos was nearly destroyed.
"Get away from my friends!" I roared, unleashing a lightning attack amplified by water, electrocuting the king of the sea.
"Who are you—the king of humans?" he sneered.
"You could say that. Now, I'm going to kick your ass," I shouted, powering up to Super Saiyan without holding back. I charged at him, punching him in the face, sending him flying back. I then grabbed his arm, squeezing tight before tossing him into the air. Charging up a massive energy blast in my hands, I finally fired it, piercing through clouds and disintegrating him. When the dust settled, he was defeated.
Afterward, I took Genos home so he could recover. We set up a repair station for him in case he ever gets hurt again. While he was being repaired, I checked the system.
"Congratulations! You've gained the ability of Kaio Ken—a multiplier that increases with your body's condition. The stronger you are, the greater the boost," I read, excited. I understood why this was given—I suspected an impending God-level threat coming to Earth, and the system wanted to ensure I could survive eventualities if I died.
Then, another notification popped up: "Congratulations! You've acquired regeneration. It allows you to heal faster and sustain stamina and energy much longer than any other being." I felt the changes ripple through my body, muscles strengthening.
Later, I tested my new powers in the training room. Going up to five times gravity was easy, so I ramped it up to twenty—feeling confident I could handle it.
The next morning, Genos announced, "Everyone, mail has arrived." He carried in a box.
"We get mail out here?" Courtney exclaimed.
"No, the hero agency doesn't deliver because we're close to City Z. They send everything by drone," Ginos explained.
We opened the box to find letters—mostly fan mail and correspondence from the hero association.
"Wow, some people really see the beauty in me," Courtney said, grinning.
"Or they're just perverts curious about your mosquito tongue," Kushina teased as she looked at one of Courtney's letters.
"Come on, there are bound to be some perverts out there. Yours aren't any better," Courtney shot back, opening one of Kushina's letters and reading aloud with a smirk, "I wonder if she squirts water everywhere?"
I quickly interrupted. "Let's stop there. I don't want any more images in my head."
Suddenly, Ginos announced, "It seems they've given us hero names." He held up one letter.
"Let's see!" I said, passing the others to the girls.
Courtney announced, "I'm the Bloody Mosquito Blood Sucker," since she's a mosquito and Sucking blood grants her power.
"And I'm the Typhoon Storm Hero," Kushina said confidently.
"I'm now Demon Cyborg. What about you, master?" Ginos asked.
"I'm the Cold Elemental Typhoon Cutting Blade—or just Typhoon," I replied.
After finishing the letters, we returned to training. The others wanted to join, but I needed to focus. I decided to combine all three of my transformations into one. Training in five times gravity was too easy, so I increased it to twenty, pushing my limits after dinner. I then went to bed, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
