She felt forgotten by Vincent.
She wasn't sure what important event had happened, to make him go to such lengths to bring her here, only to leave her here alone, with no concern.
...
One night passed quickly.
When the first rays of sunlight hit the small island in the morning, the sleepy-eyed guard also woke up.
He stood up, rubbed his eyes, and glanced inside.
The noisy woman lay on the bed, sleeping quietly at the moment.
He looked away, but an unnatural feeling flashed through his heart, and he couldn't help but glance at the window a few more times. Then, as if remembering something, his heart skipped a beat, and he kicked awake the companion sleeping beside him!
"Damn, what are you doing!"
"Give me the key!" the guard said urgently, "Something's wrong with the woman inside!"
The black man sitting on the ground shuddered, quickly took the keys out of his pocket, and handed them to his companion.
