[3rd POV]
It was the next day, and Wanda was sitting behind her counter. She had been contemplating it for a little while now, regarding where Death was, and what she currently was up to. She had not been into the shop for a while now, and Wanda was beginning to wonder if she was going to be coming back anytime soon or not.
While she was sitting at the counter reading a book, her children were doing exactly what they had said they were going to do. They were walking around, cleaning up the shop, putting books away, and doing their chores around the shop.
At the same time, Amity was actually reading a book. She was reading a book on occlumency, as she had decided it would be useful to learn in order to help keep her emotions under control, as well as to strengthen her control over her magical power in general.
She wanted to become mentally stronger so that she could deal with going back to the Boiling Isles. As once she goes back to the Boiling Isles, it was highly likely that she would run into her old family at least once.
And once that she had run into them, she would need to be mentally strong, strong enough to not break down just by being near them. Even if they could not do anything to her thanks to the curse that was placed on them, she did not want to risk it.
Not when she could embarrass herself in front of others on accident.
At the same time as Amity was reading through her book and putting away other books through some magic, Milim was in the corner of the room, dusting.
Wanda did not use her own power to dust her shop, and instead made it into a chore. Which is why Wanda was doing this in the first place, giving her a task to do beyond the basic ones.
While she was dusting away and cleaning up the bookshelves, she was also silently training her energy.
This was because she was going to be fighting Saitama again in a few days, and needed to be in tip top shape in order to give the man a proper battle. He was a strong man that was rapidly growing in strength, thanks to his bullshit ability to grow stronger infinitely thanks to a broken limiter.
This basically meant that no matter what Milim did, the man would continue to surpass her over and over. With him also being able to surpass people like Goku with ease, and others that were similar. The only one that Milim knew of that Saitama could not surpass even with all of his stupidly powerful talent and growth, was of course her mama.
It's hard to surpass someone that could warp reality on a multiversal scale with a twitch of her finger, and a singular thought in her mind. Saitama could attempt to reach that level of power, but Wanda was also growing in strength at every waking moment.
And if she really wanted to, she could easily break into other multiverses and begin to rapidly strengthen herself by taking powerful objects, serums, abilities, techniques, and more. All of them combining to make her even stronger.
But she had not done that, because she had no reason to.
It would make her life a lot more boring.
Milim knew that Saitama was itching to challenge her mama, but she had warned him several times now that he was not going to stand a chance. But from what he's shown, she was pretty sure that the man was going to ask to spar with Wanda either way.
She just hoped her mama didn't hurt him too much.
While Milim was using her energy techniques that were strengthening her reserves, and Amity was practicing Occlumency, Naruto was in the opposite corner, currently tending to the plants so that Ivy did not get pissed at him.
He was surprisingly in tune with nature and plants in general, which is why he was given that particular duty.
While he was working, he was doing his own form of training, since his mama had given all three of them the go ahead to train, so long as they were still doing their work at the same time. She just wanted them to make sure to do their chores, and that was enough for her.
The chores part was not something that Naruto really understood, as it was kind of just boring to him. But he guessed that it was something to do with teaching them a lesson, or maybe some form of discipline or something like that.
He didn't really know to be honest.
His form of training was in the form of his shadow clones in another dimension, thousands of them working in tandem to train his control over his power, and a number of other things he decided was worthwhile to train in.
While he personally was training the one thing that they could not.
His body.
He was doing this by using gravity seals and weighted clothing that his mama had given him. With the gravity and the weight increasing every time he got used to the new one, while also having healing capabilities so that he was not negatively harmed by this in any way.
This way he would constantly strengthen his body, while doing basically nothing.
At least nothing in comparison to what could be considered actually draining training.
The other thing he was working on personally was Senjutsu, which was an art that he found himself talented in, and very interested in. And thanks to the help of Ivy, he was learning it at immense speeds. He wasn't a master or anything, but he was definitely adept at the art.
And he was improving more and more. He hoped to have the ability to enter a sage mode within the next couple of months. As once he gained that form, he would see if there was an even stronger form of it, a superior sage mode.
He'd have to ask his mama when it got to that point though. As he had read a lot of books regarding nature, Senjutsu, and stuff like that, and nothing hinted at something beyond that.
He hoped there was, at it would make things interesting.
Watching all of her children doing their chores, Wanda had a pleased smile on her face. She could tell that the three of them were training while working, which was making them do their chores a bit slower than usual. But, it was not enough to be a problem, and frankly she was pleased to see them working on doing more than one thing at once.
It was good to learn how to multi-task.
Wanda sat behind her counter for a while longer, as her children continued to work hard to finish their chores, while continuing to silently train at the same time. Eventually customers began to enter the store.
It started with the demigods, which had been a group of five, including a rather interesting customer that she had started getting recently in the form of Clarisse, who had been going their regularly to get martial arts books, and books on war tactics and stuff like that.
It was thanks to these books and her own talent that she had started to surpass most of her siblings, and was likely the strongest Ares demigod in the camp at this point.
Besides her, her other customers were pretty normal when it came to the Demigods.
After the Demigods had come the normal denizens of DC, her book club regulars, and some others. Nothing too crazy.
That was...until someone new had entered. A powerful person had walked through the door and into her store, her eyebrow shooting up as she saw them. The person in question was undoubtedly one of the strongest people to ever enter her store, and was roughly close in power to the likes of Death herself.
That was an incredibly interesting thing to sense, as she understood once she stared at the man that was standing in front of the entrance, that he too was another member of the Endless.
And it took her only a few moments to realize which member he was, as she sensed the power deep inside of him. Powerful and cataclysmic in nature.
The one standing before her, in her shop, was the one and only...
Destruction of the Endless
