Arriving back in my room in the temple, I could feel the warmth return to me now that i am away from the ice-covered island. "Hugin! Can you give me an update on what has been going on while i was away?" I asked as I put my equipment away. A second later she appeared in a puff of light. "Hello, Jason. How was the trip?" she asked with a large smile. "It was good i was able to gather a large amount of the materials needed for the ritual later and managed to defeat a powerful monster. I will have to look at its card in a few minutes." i said as I stored all the minerals in a magically sealed container.
"So what happened while i was gone?" i asked again. "First, Professor Banner has started to make his move against the first key holder. Second, the local dual spirits have been acting weird recently," she said. "Hm, that's good; it means I will finally be able to deal with the Kagemaru soon and i can then start preparing for the light of destruction." I said as i finished with putting everything away and started to make my way to the small hot springs that i made a few weeks ago.
A little bit later …
After washing up and relaxing in the hot spring, I got dressed in my uniform and pulled out all the cards from the monsters on the island.
1 Danger! Bigfoot! 3 Danger! Chupacabra! 1 Danger! Dogman! 3 Danger! Mothman! 1 Danger! Nessie! 1 Danger! Thunderbird! 3 Danger!? Jackalope? 3 Danger!? Tsuchinoko?
And finally for the main event!

and increase Trishula, Dragon of the Frozen Dead's attack and defense by the equipped monster's attack and defense.

I could feel the chill coming from the card, so I fed it some of my life force and the chill disappeared. Once ai was done, I made my way to Professor Banner's hideout.
A little while later…
I arrived at a small cave out in the woods and I walked inside and there he was with white hair and red robes. "Good evening, Professor Banner." I said as I shut the entrance behind me. "Oh, Jason, what are you doing here? More importantly, how did you know How to find me?" he said, shocked.
"Don't worry, I'm not here to stop you; I simply came to ask you for something. And let's just say I know everything that happens on this island," I said, releasing some magical pressure. "Oh my, what power! No wonder you are so strong and know so much. You are just like me; you know the deeper parts of this world. No wonder you took interest in my class; I could be a good teacher for you. But what is it that you needed from me?" he asked as he relaxed.
"I came to ask if there is any way you could give me a copy of the emerald tablet. I feel I could use it well to further my goals in the future." I said, "That I can not do unfortunately the magic protecting the book will not allow me to transfer the magic in it," he said. After this encounter, we spent a few more minutes speaking before I left to finish preparing for when the spirit gates open.
A few hours later…
After waking up from a small nap, I could feel the magic under the island move as stone monoliths shot out of the ground so I made my wings appear and flew to where the duel would be taking place.
