ποΈβπ¨οΈ "We're back again, dear seekers of truth and wanderers of the Story World!"
It's me, your trusted [Blue Archivist], ready to bring you another wave of answers straight from the shimmering depths of the Blue Trade Records! πβ¨
Today's topic β one that keeps even seasoned Players awake at night β the mysteries of the All Seeing Eye, the fractures of self that come from living too many stories, and the truth about why Original Stories are so rare.
Buckle up, because this one's going to tug at both your heartstrings π and your logic circuits βοΈ!
βοΈ Why doesn't the All Seeing Eye get involved?
The ποΈ All Seeing Eye governs everything β the π§ Story System, the π Fragments, the very flow of narrative existence β yet it remains neutral.
It doesn't pick sides between villains or heroes, kingdoms or rebellions. ποΈ It simply observes and corrects when the balance of the Story itself is threatened.
Instead, it dispatches its quiet enforcers β the Editors β to handle issues like:
π³οΈ Someone existing in the Story World without a Story,
πͺ An Echo that's gone rogue,
π Or any collapse in the fabric of Storytelling itself.
Outside of similar cases? No interference. No judgement.
The Eye watches, but never takes a side. ποΈβ¨
π If we live through Storylines as main characters, how do we not lose ourselves?
Simple answer? We often do. π
Playing through too many Fragments twists the mind. Each Storyline makes you live another life β feel another's love, grief, and pain. π«
Soon, you start asking yourself:
"Am I the one who suffered in that Fragment⦠or the one reading it?"
What happens when you meet someone whose NPC version murdered your NPC family? βοΈ
Or when you fall in love with an NPC β and then find the real version in the Story World? π
That's when the boundaries blur β and the Editors step in.
Their secondary role, beyond maintenance, is identity recovery.Β π§©
But the process isn't cheap πΈ nor simple.
If you can't separate Story from Reality⦠you risk erasure.
Complete deletion.
A tragic end for those who forgot which Story was truly theirs. π
πͺΆ Why aren't there many Original Stories?
Ah, the eternal question! π
Creating an Original Story isn't just about imagination β it demands:
Enormous amounts of Cores for stabilization,
A Story filled with adventures ready to be used,
And the will to define something truly your own.
But here's the catch:
π Non-Readers can only create one Original Story in their lifetime.
So most hesitate β they Borrow someone else's first.
π Borrowed Stories are weaker, which makes it harder to rise in Rankβ¦ which in turn makes it harder to create your Original.
It's a cruel cycle many never escape.
Some simply don't care to.
They live peaceful lives under Borrowed or Sponsored Stories β traveling, working, and exploring Fragments without ever chasing power. ποΈ
Thus, in the grand hierarchy:
π Borrowed Stories β the most common.
π Sponsored & Inherited Stories β fewer, stronger.
π Original Stories β the rarest of all, carried by dreamers, fools, and legends alike.
That's all for this entry, friends!Β π
