Chapter 28 - CHAPTER 27: NO EXTRA CHAIRS

The guy fumed out of guilt and retorted," Who are you calling birds of the same feathers?" Havila answered him nonchalantly, "Of course it is you, you are in support of her because you like her, and you also do the same things as her, so you are in the same circle, hence birds of a feather." She flicked her hair arrogantly and ordered, "Tell her Keveelsky is already taken." She then turned and pointed at the ladies, saying, "And you, there are no extra chairs."

The ladies fled immediately without waiting to be shown the door. Who didn't know that the one beauty is a tyrant? Nobody dared to joke, let alone confront her head-on. Only one lady remained, and she was ushered to the empty seat beside the guy. Havila did not speak, but instead removed her phone, made a call, and put it on loudspeaker. They then heard a voice say," Hey! Did the sun rise from the north? Why did you call?" The chief's daughter's voice was heard clearly by everyone, and the guy started to panic.

Everybody could sense his unease and did not dare to ask. He eyed Havila to cancel the call, but she ignored him and asked," Where are you? If you are in your usual place, come to room number XXX." She then hung up. The guy was flustered, and he asked, "What is wrong with you? Why did you call her?" She only gave him a shrug and said, "You want both money and security?" She then looked at the girl beside the guy from head to toe and said, "I don't know what attracts you, but you have to make your choice today."

No sooner than her words fell, the door was pushed from the outside, and the chief's daughter came in high spirits as usual. She spotted Havila and asked, "Why did you...She stopped talking, noticing the people in the room, then continued discreetly.... call me?" Havila just said, "For a drink, come over and have a seat." She then went over and yanked the guy from the chair and pushed down the chief's daughter into his previous spot.

Everyone's jaws dropped at her strength and audacity. She then rang the bell to signal the start of the dinner. The waiters came, and she ordered everyone's favorite meals except the guy's. Everyone was shocked again. The guy noticed her discrimination and said, "Don't tell me you know everyone's favorite meals except mine." She responded, "And why should I care? Do we know each other that well?" She then handed the menu to the lady and said,

"Please make your order miss." The guy pointed at the girl and said, "Why are you even nicer to her than me? I think you know me better than you do her?" Havila was losing her patience, and she gave him one last killer move: "That's because you did not tell her that you are engaged." The menu dropped from the girl's hands with a plop, and tears started flowing down her cheeks. She stood up, took her purse, and ran out of the room. Havila turned to the guy mockingly, "Oops! You just broke another maiden's heart."

Then she turned to the chief's daughter and asked, "Miss Security. What do you want to do?" She answered dejectedly, "What can I do? The wedding invitations were already sent out, and I don't want to affect my Dad's upcoming elections. So it's fine with me." All the guys heaved a sigh of relief at her answer. They knew their friend wasn't that kind of a person. He worried that the girl did not love him and was only doing it for the sake of her family.

He had loved her for too long; he did not want to force her, so he used these despicable methods. He had talked to the models earlier, so he didn't know that one was already emotionally attached. He regretted it immediately he saw her run out while crying. He could tell she was not acting. It is a good thing he already paid them, or else, he would find himself in deeper shit. Havila could guess what was in his mind, so she said point-blank, "You don't have to pretend to be a playboy anymore. She is clearly in love with you; your stupid brain could just not notice it."

She then gave him one hell of a punch. The guy screamed and said, "What did you do that for? You already know the truth, but you still beat me up." She answered, "Who beat you up? That's a consolation to that lady who went out crying, and to many more you played with their feelings, my friend included. She said, pointing at the chief's daughter, who gave her a grateful nod, took out wet wipes, and cleaned the traces of blood from the corner of his mouth.

Havila asked, "If she didn't love you, would she wipe the blood for you? Next time, just say the fucking three words. Don't go around playing with other people's feelings." The guy was getting more embarrassed, so he waved his hands and said, "Okay, okay, I heard you, so can you please stop talking? The message is already at home." He then turned and took the chief's daughter's hands in his and said, "I love you. I have always been, please do find it in your heart to forgive me."

The girl could only nod because she was afraid she would burst into tears if she talked. Noticing his fiancée on the verge of tears, he directed his anger at Havila and yelled at her, "Can you stop treating people as if they are Georgia? It was he who did you bad, not us." Havila rolled her eyes at him and asked ignorantly, "Who is Georgia?" Everyone burst into laughter, including the chief's daughter and the guy. The laughter brought peace back into the room. They took their meals peacefully, and everyone left with their sweethearts.
