Old Mrs. Seymour sighed heavily; she had a vague understanding of Charles's past, but never imagined that Sophie would be involved as well.
"Alright, since it's confidential, I won't ask. Just take good care of it in the future." Old Mrs. Seymour naturally knew what to ask and what not to ask.
"Okay." Charles Seymour nodded.
When Old Mr. Seymour returned from his stroll outside and saw Charles at home, he asked in surprise, "Why are you here today? Everything's fine at the company?"
"Yeah, I brought Sophie over to see the child." Charles said calmly, but Old Mr. Seymour was no longer calm, "Sophie..."
Old Mrs. Seymour glared, and Old Mr. Seymour immediately lowered his raised voice, asking in a normal tone, "Sophie knows?"
"Of course." Charles nodded, speaking calmly, "How could I possibly not tell Sophie?"
He maintained his composure as if someone else was the one finding someone to drink with and vent last night.
