Chapter 3 – Three Years Later
Three whole years had passed since I made the decision to copy the most iconic books from my old world and bring them into this new one.
Honestly, it had been a lot easier than I thought it would be. I started with Harry Potter, of course — the ultimate classic — and then moved on to The Lord of the Rings. Two pillars of fantasy literature, now reborn in a world where no one had ever heard of them.
With the help of my mother — who was always supportive, even when she didn't fully understand what I was doing — we traveled to Nova Work, the cultural capital of this world. The place was massive, full of theaters, museums, creative studios, and publishing houses. If you wanted to be someone in the arts, you came to Nova Work.
We walked into one of the biggest publishing companies in the city. I showed them my handwritten manuscripts — yes, I wrote them all by hand at first, since I didn't want to risk using a computer until I knew how this world handled plagiarism, copyrights, and tech traces. The editor who received us was a serious-looking man, clearly used to dealing with all kinds of wild pitches and wannabe authors. He probably thought I was just another kid with an overactive imagination.
That is, until he started reading.
He picked up the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, read a few lines… and then froze.
He didn't say a word. Just kept reading. Eyes wide, mouth slightly open.
My mother was in the adjacent room, already deep in conversation with the business staff. She didn't waste any time. While she discussed royalties and potential publishing deals, I took the opportunity to explore the building a bit. I was too excited to sit still. Everything about that moment made me feel alive — as if the impossible was becoming real right before my eyes.
As I walked past one of the offices, I noticed a woman sitting at her desk, headphones on, watching something on her computer. Curiosity got the best of me, so I leaned in slightly to see what it was.
A video clip. Grainy, retro, full of '80s energy.
And there she was.
Robin Scherbatsky.
Singing as her alter ego — Robin Sparkles.
I nearly laughed out loud.
— "So this universe has How I Met Your Mother too..." — I whispered to myself, amused.
— "No wonder she tried to hide this. Must be cringe to watch as an adult."
It was fascinating. Every discovery was like a treasure.
If Robin exists here… who else does?
I was starting to see a pattern.
This world wasn't just inspired by mine. It was fused with it.
A strange hybrid of reality, fiction, and pure chaos.
Just then, my mom called me — her meeting had ended. She had that proud, triumphant look on her face, which told me everything had gone well. We walked to a quiet area with no cameras or onlookers, and I activated my teleportation ability. A single thought, and we vanished in a flash of light, returning home in an instant.
Later that evening, while she was talking to my father about all the details of the publishing deal, I went upstairs to my room and fired up my computer. I had a mission now — to find out exactly how many people or characters from my old world existed in this one.
I opened the main news portals and began digging.
I searched for names of celebrities, fictional characters, and cultural icons.
It didn't take long.
Result found.
I clicked the headline.

GENIUS OR MADMAN?
13-Year-Old Stuns Universities with Theories
"Sheldon Lee Cooper, only 13 years old, has already been accepted into multiple prestigious universities after presenting advanced theories in quantum physics. When asked about his future goals, Sheldon replied: 'I want to win the Nobel Prize. And no one better touch my food.'"
I smirked.
— "So even in this world, he's still a child prodigy… Makes sense. If I'm 13, he must be around the same age too."
I kept searching.
Next, I typed: Ashley Bright. That was the stage name used for Victoria Justice in a few alternate dubs and fan projects I remembered.
Another article popped up. I clicked immediately.

RISING MUSIC STAR GOES VIRAL WITH NEW CLIP
"Ashley Bright, age 16, is quickly making a name for herself with a unique blend of pop music and teenage energy. Her latest single, 'Light in the Storm,' is topping charts across streaming platforms. Fans speculate that a new show titled Bright & Co. is in the works, with Ashley as the lead actress."
I chuckled.
— "Bright & Co.? That's this world's version of Victorious. This just keeps getting better."
I closed the laptop, leaned back in my chair, and stared up at the ceiling. My thoughts raced.
And then something clicked.
The woman at the publishing company — the one my mother had been talking to…
I knew her face.
I'd seen it before.
Sandra Bullock.
From The Proposal. Only younger. Fitting right into this world's weird blend of fiction and reality.
More and more beautiful women were showing up around me — women I admired, characters I had grown up watching. Some were famous actresses, others fictional characters who had somehow gained real forms in this universe.
That's when I made a decision. A bold one.
I would build a harem.
Not just for the fantasy of it. But because I cared. These were women I liked deeply in my past life. If I left them to someone else — even though I had the power to protect them — I'd be a coward. A man without resolve.
But I also had principles.
I wouldn't become some mindless woman-chaser, some drill that bores even the air.
Only the ones I truly love
And even if they were older than me…
A little vampire blood could fix that. Make them immortal.
Problem solved.
Besides, who could say no if I went to the Volturi in my full dragon form — politely asking for help?
I smiled to myself.
The real show was just beginning.
