After everyone woke up, the entire mansion felt like a hangover battlefield. Groans echoed through the halls, and the smell of spilled alcohol still lingered in the air.

Tsubaki nearly tripped over herself the moment she saw Damien in the hallway, her face turning bright red before she bolted in the opposite direction without saying a word. Loki, on the other hand, acted like nothing had ever happened—lounging at the table with a lazy grin, humming as if she hadn't spent the night using him as a pillow. Tione even gave him her usual annoyed glare, pretending the Onsen talk never happened, though he noticed her eyes flicker away a bit too fast when he met her gaze.

Damien didn't have the patience to deal with any of it. He had a goal today, and it had nothing to do with hangovers or confused Amazons. The dungeon was calling.

It had been a while since he'd last gone in properly. The last attempt ended early—too many interruptions, not enough power. But now he was ready. His eyes gleamed with determination as he strapped his sword to his back and adjusted his coat. The plan was simple: reach Floor 13, use the Dungeon Key, and uncover whatever secret was waiting there.

He was just about to leave when Hestia came rushing down the stairs, waving a lunch box over her head."Wait! Damien! As your first official outing as a fully realized adventurer, I made you lunch!" she announced proudly, cheeks puffed with excitement.

Damien blinked. "You do realize I might be gone for… I don't know, days?"

Her smile froze. "WHAT!? Days!? I only made lunch!"

"Don't worry," he said, chuckling. "I've got food in my inventory. Just hold the fort for me, okay? I'll be back stronger."

Hestia puffed her cheeks again but smiled. "Fine! But you better come back for your backrubs!"

"Wouldn't miss them," he said with a grin before heading out.

....

At the dungeon entrance, the familiar rumble of adventurers filled the air—shouting, footsteps, metal clanging. Damien adjusted his pack and checked his supplies one last time. The food in his inventory was perfectly preserved—one of the many perks of a suspended storage space.

As he passed the gate, one of the guards recognized him. "Hey! Rookie Damien, right? Hard to believe it's you heading down again. I was the guy who stopped you last time—you know, said it was too dangerous. Guess I didn't realize I was lecturing a Level 3!"

Damien smirked. "Don't worry about it, man. You were just doing your job. Keep it up."

"Good luck in there, Hestia's Rookie!" the guard called out.

Damien froze mid-step, his smile twitching."…They're really still calling me that?" he muttered, rubbing his temple. It was better than the first nickname that had started spreading after the tournament—Rookie of Love. That one he refused to acknowledge.

Once he was alone in the dim stone corridors, he opened his status window. Everything looked normal at first… until his eyes widened.

There was something new. A passive skill that hadn't been there before. Not one the system had granted—no fanfare, no notification. It just appeared.*

Sacred Flame – Passive SkillType: Evolved Authority SkillRank: (D) SSSDescription: A divine blessing bestowed upon the User upon joining the Virgin Goddess Hestia's Familia. The warmth of the goddess's flame seeps into the User's soul, radiating an aura of comfort, safety, and subtle allure.

Any woman within close proximity will unconsciously feel at ease in the User's presence; her heartbeat synchronizes faintly with his, evoking ancient instincts tied to affection and procreation. The effect does not dominate the mind, nor does it alter free will—it merely awakens dormant emotions of attraction and desire when near the User, as if drawn to the sanctity of his inner flame.

This phenomenon intensifies with emotional connection and proximity, reaching its peak when mutual feelings exist.

Damien blinked, reread the description twice, then slowly dragged his hand down his face.

"…Holy shit. That explains everything that happened yesterday," he muttered. "I literally got a goddess-induced attraction aura. I'm living a Hentai Protagonist! Sheesh"

With a long sigh, he dismissed the window. "Well, can't do anything about it now. Floor 13's waiting."

And with that, Damien stepped deeper into the dungeon, unaware of how much more that so-called 'Sacred Flame' would change the adventures ahead.

...

Continuing his descent through the dungeon, Damien faced a variety of foes, each floor presenting new challenges. From Floor 4 to Floor 8, he battled swarms of Killing Ants and elusive War Shadows. Their attacks were relentless, but his Mind's Eye, Quicksilver, and BloodLust made every encounter manageable. The Ants fell quickly under precise strikes, while the War Shadows barely landed a scratch before being dismantled.

By the time he reached Floors 10 to 12, the threats escalated. Orcs ambushed him in the misty corridors, and infant dragons screeched through the fog, flames licking the walls. Damien's system-assisted map guided him flawlessly, and his Level 3 stats made quick work of them. Strength, agility, and his tactical instincts combined to make even the trickier encounters feel almost routine.

Floor 13 was where things started to get closer to his real challenge. Silver Backs charged from the shadows while swarms of Bad Bats swooped down from the ceiling. But Damien's reflexes and combat experience from the tournament made them almost trivial, and soon enough, he arrived at his ultimate goal for this run...the entrance to the System Dungeon.

The Dungeon Key in his hand shimmered faintly. He approached the imaginary door, its outline glowing just enough for him to see where it needed to be inserted. With a smooth motion, Damien slid the key into the lock. The moment it clicked into place, the world around him blurred. A flash of light, a brief sensation of falling—and then he was gone from the Babel Dungeon.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself inside the System Dungeon. The atmosphere had changed dramatically. Unlike the previous foray, where the dungeon mirrored Babel's floors, this place was unlike anything he had seen before. Marble floors gleamed under the dim light, and paintings of knights in grand halls lined the walls, their gazes seeming to follow him. The air smelled faintly of incense, and an eerie quiet filled the corridors.

Damien cautiously explored, his senses alert for any sign of movement. That's when he first encountered the dungeon's guardians. Armors. Empty, hollow, yet fully animated. They walked with purpose, their metal plating echoing with each step. They didn't just move—they seemed to know their target. And their target was unmistakably Damien.

There was nothing inside these armors, yet their movements were deliberate, almost intelligent. They advanced toward him, weapons clanking against the marble floors, ready to strike.

Damien tightened his grip on his daggers, eyes narrowing "All right...Let's see what this 'D' Ranked Dungeon has to offer me!"
