He waited for him outside of the door, until he finally walked out. Meera seemed had stopped crying by now.
Of course, Collin didn't waste his time to ask what he was doing inside the room, because it didn't seem right.
"She was crying. I just calmed her down." Adam looked at him, he stated it calmly, he didn't fluster at all, neither he thought what he had done was inappropriate.
"She is your future luna," Collin emphasized that. He wanted to remind this man to not overstep his boundaries because it would only bring trouble for himself and Meera.
She was not in the state where she could think clearly and few frictions from Adam. Kindness that she didn't get from Dalton, would create a huge trouble in the near future.
However, when he heard that, Adam scowled. "Then, it should be the alpha's job to do that, right? But, where is he?" He was daring enough to hold the beta's eyes. "I was helping her, so I don't think that I deserve to be scolded."
