There was no doubt about it in me anymore, that was indeed Mental Energy, they were all entranced by Mental Energy of the enemy, that eye of his seem to unleash a mental attack that had all of them entranced like this .
Just as this realization hit me, I saw that the sigil in front of his eyes twitched a little, then a beam of green light came out of it and headed in my way, not willing to be hit by such a bizarre thing, I tried to evade, but as if the beam had conscious, it suddenly twisted itself and tried to hit me again .
Once again I managed to evade, but it seem to be not giving up just yet and once again it bent and readjusted his trajectory and came towards me, activating my eyes, the slow incoming beam become even slower in my eyes and I saw that it was truly harboring a consciousness, the consciousness of that purple Cyclop .
In my vision, the beam had a shadowed figure responsible for maneuvering it, it was the shadow of that Cyclop and currently was viciously smiling as he came towards me, but before he can he continue his attack, the beam disintegrated into particles of Mental Energy and dissipated .
I already expected that, how much Mental Energy can he have to keep flaunting at me like this, he also had to supply whatever he was using to keep those three trapped, so he wasn't able to continue his attack .
The sigil once again began to flash brightly, then another beam came out of it and with my eyes, I was able to see the process now more clearly and already understood how that special ability of his actually work, so time I didn't evade, I intentionally let that beam hit me .
Instantly after it hit me, I sensed the sigil taking root in my brain, then my vision blurred and I was currently standing in a world full of magma, the three subordinates of mine was there as well, but their bodies were filled with energies and they were being chained up and hanged .
Seeing me, the three of them seemed to be seeing a ghost, but the first one to speak was none other than Tay she took a deep breath of air then she shouted for me to escape from the top of her lungs, cuts started to appear on her face and body, the place seemed to be punishing her for saying something she shouldn't .
The other two merely released suffocating breath and both shook their heads, Dorax was almost unrecognizable, his whole being was dyed bloody red, he kept shaking his head while saying :

Only for his body to get an electric shock that was enough to have him scream out of the agonizing pain he was suffering from, Levan just looked at me with pity in his eyes, at least I believed that this what he must have been doing, his eyes were no where in sight, only empty sockets remaining .
His body had his own share of misery as well, he lost an arm, his nose got a bit of it chopped off, he had become quite the mess, then as if finally sensing that the time was right for him to take the stage, a sound of laughter sounded across the whole place and then a body began to manifest from a sudden brilliant light that had appeared all of a sudden .
Inside that light was the Cyclop I had seen outside, he was still sinisterly smiling and once he saw me his grin widened even more as he said :

Yes, this world was completely an illusion created to entrap the minds of these who fell for it, the sigil I saw back in reality was the way he lured his enemies to this imaginary world where almost everything other than the life and death of his enemies was under his complete control .
Mental Power was used to construct this world and due to how strong his was compared to the other three and maybe his own innate talent with mind manipulation and alteration, he was able to lure all of them to them here, then he would use his unquestionable authority to completely dominate his opponent will .
To the point where death would be something so valuable that his opponent would be the one asking for it, as long as someone fell into this imaginary world, then his only hope would be for somone to kill this Cyclop or the one responsible for the illusion from outside and even then the person trapped inside might due from the severe torment and injuries his mind suffered .
How are you able to even hurt me, this can't be possible unless, noo, I hope you forgive me for my insolence, please spare me, please spare me .
" Why don't you say what you only realized just now, this world you had constructed is cool and all, but you really shouldn't have wasted my time and yours by the insolence actions earlier, you could have managed to escape back to reality and I would have still killed you then, but you wanted to die under my hands in this imaginary world of yours this much .

When he closed his eye and tried to extend his consciousness to the wisps, he found out that he was already completely cut off from the imaginary world, not only that, he was completely engulfed by a cocoon made of Mental Power, consisted of a more powerful, pure Mental Energy than his .
Impossible, how can this be, I will take all of you with me .
He seemed to have finally realized how tight the situation he was in for himself, he directly become crazy and his body began to expand and get inflated like a balloon, but no matter how hard he tried, no matter how crazy he decided to become, the only thing that was coming to him, was what I decided for him and nothing else .
Just making a fist clenching gesture and instantly his body shrunk back to how it was a few seconds ago, his eye was completely red before, but now it reverted to normal venomous green, he was shocked for a second and was about to launch another reckless attempt to detonate himself and with that destroying the imaginary world with us inside it .
But it was already too late for that, with another squeezing gesture, the Mental cocoon surrounding him began to assimilate him, he helped me a lot with my own Mental Power control and methods, so he should be the first one to taste them, my eyes were very much the reason I was able to analyze his own methods and imparted to myself, so the greatly helped .
After directly assimilating three fifth of his Mental Power, I had distributed the last two fifth between the three subordinates of mine, ensuring that their injuries would heal and their power might even progress slightly .
The Cyclop was no more and his demise was because of his short-sighted personality and miscalculation, thinking that there should be no one capable enough to compete with him on terms of Mental Power, inviting a disaster upon himself by wanting to trap someone like me in this joke of imaginary world of his .
It was one thing to use such a technique against weak opponents and enemies, but for him to actually use it against me who have more powerful Mental Power than him, that was his gravest mistake and the one which costed him his life .
This imaginary world was created by Mental Energy of the user, as long as the Mental Energy of the user is stronger than an opponent, the connection established between the two would remain strong and should not allow the user to get injured from enemy attacks, no matter how strong they were outside .
As long they weren't as strong in terms of Mental Power, they are bound to get devoured in the end, but that was completely meaningless if the enemy was stronger than the user of the imaginary world, I was able to hurt him when I snapped that red devilish hand before because I started to bless myself with Mental Energy .
Then I noticed how was he controlling wisps of Mental Energy to keep the connection between him and the imaginary space he created through Mental Energy and power in effect and with help of the powerful analyzing ability of my eyes, his eye ability and methods to control Mental Energy were completely copied by me, which ended up in helping me to take him down without even a slightest bit of problem .
I also gained quite a lot from this fight, a boost in Mental Energy reserves, understanding and even my techniques improved slightly, I should now be able to finish the first chapter of the Mind Nourishing Method completely this time with the additional increase of my Mental Power .

I saw that they were about to say something, but I currently had no time for them so I just brushed them off and with a swing of my hand, they all turned into light and dispersed, waiting for me outside, I looked around me and felt really good about my achievements today, but there was one thing that I still wanted to try .
Analyzing the whole imaginary space with my eyes, I had already started to make a plans in my mind on how to build an even more stronger version for myself in the future, I started to siphon the remaining energy in this imaginary space and right before it completely collapse and bury me here, I had come out as well .

In the envelope, Fey was apologizing for not being able to come and support my cause as she was currently overseeing the other members of her race safety in the war, the Harpies were to join the war by the order of the Demon Emperor, not only the Harpies, the Levern and all the other founding demon families except for the Dorell had already marched into the battlefield against the kingdom of Animagia .
The war between the Demons and the Beastfolk had already started a 2 days ago, I didn't think that the Demons and Devo will be so quick to act, I guess I had wronged these guys for nothing, but the most problematic issue now, was the war itself .
I can actually take advantage of the war to find Devo and settle the scores with him, the city would welcome a new ruler and the forces would be forced to retreat, so I might be able to achieve hitting two birds with one stone, but I will need to act quickly .
" How is the war going so far, are Fey and the others wining ? .

Now the situation fell into a stalemate again as the elves archers forced the Demons swarms to only make long-distance attacks, which outside the dome of blood where the Demons can evade being attacked by the shard's influence were all rendered usless .
Currently there was no telling how will this stalemate be broken and in whose favor, but think look not that much in favor to Demons, Terra is also suffering from internal turmoil and can't offer to support the Demons with weapons or siege equipment, the situation was indyquite dire, GOOD, VERY GOOD .
