After I said that to camron everywhere went silent for a while as he looked like he was pondering on the thought..
"Nah! It's my duty.. I'll take you.. I mean I've already cancelled my plans anyways."He said muttering the last part though I still heard it.
He then grinned and said "Am all yours".
"You aren't mine *Tsk*" I muttered with a slight frown as we walked away from Hazel and Anna...
As we walked through the halls he explained how the school worked and some little histories on Windville high. "So yeah, that's how windville was founded..." He concluded as we arrived at my locker, he taught me how to use my fingerprint to unlock it.
By the time we were finished, Break was over so we decided to head back to class and on our way I decided to get to know a little... At least the basics like his name...when that thought passed my mind I decided to ask..
"Uhm.. What's your name?" I asked my voice betraying my hint of nervousness as I had never taken the initiative to talk to someone but I wanted to at least thank him for his help.. So I needed to know his name but when I asked he stopped walking so abruptly that I bumped into him as I had been walking a few steps behind him the whole time..
"Wow? You falling for me already?" He said with a goofy grin as he did a very silly dance, I couldn't help but let out a low chuckle... His expression was so funny..
"Wow your laughter sounds so angelic" He said staring at me in awe and I felt a little shy by his admiring gaze
"What?" I said narrowing my eyes at him to hide my embarrassment.
"Woah! Calm down, I'm just stating facts.. I mean I am an honest guy" He said with a smirk as he raised his two hands up In a mock surrender... I don't know why our interaction was feeling so natural to me... Maybe its his natural charisma.
"But in all honesty your gonna give Ruoxue a run for her money". He said scrutinizing my face as if he was looking at a beautiful, rare specimen.
"Ruoxue?" I asked feeling puzzled as I had no idea who that was...
"You know... That girl that tripped you, her name is Gu Ruoxue" He said as if trying to help me remember that blonde twig... I would've hit her back but *sigh* I couldn't... that feeling of having the capacity to do something but not being able to do it nagged me, fueling my dislike for the blonde twig called Ruoxue.
"Seriously you have to start looking at people's name tags" He suddenly said bringing me out of my haze of thoughts.
"Thank for the tour and tips... Camron" I said reading out his name with a slight smile.
"Oh my gosh! The goddess called my name!" He said fawning in a goofy manner, faking a faint but someone bumped into him from behind.. In fact the dude pushed camron and before I could process it, camron stumbled almost knocking me down as we collided my back hit hard against the locker, camron placed his hands on the locker to stop himself from completely falling on me, this action caged me In his hands... And as I looked up I saw him already looking at me in concern.
"Are you okay?" He asked his voice hitting a lower octave in my ears, as he looked genuinely concerned...
"Y-yeah T-thanks" I stuttered as a faint red hue tainted my cheeks.. I was affected by our close proximity, I had never been this close to any boy aside my brothers as It felt slightly uncomfortable but a small part of me knew I was safe in camron's arms..
"If you're done flirting camron, come for practice" The boy that pushed camron said bringing both me and camron from our haze of thought.
"Hey mate, it's not funny you could've hurt her" camron said with a slight frown as the boy chuckled lightly before huffing at me, then he left.
"I'm sorry about that charlie... That's august and he can be a shithead at times but he's not that bad just... Be careful when around him,he's the frost king... I've gotta go,bye" He said with a wink before jogging away.
While I went to the cafeteria as I was free. I saw hazel and anna still at our table, so I immediately headed to them after picking out what to eat... As it wasn't lunch the cafeteria was scanty.
"So.. How was it?" Hazel said looking all gossipy.... " How was what?" I said feighing ignorance as I munched on my salad... I was on a strict diet to keep my figure as a ballet dancer...
"The meeting with camron, duh" She said " I heard you bumped into August" She added back to being her gossipy self... I thought as I nodded subtly to what she said
" *Eek* your so lucky girl.. You've met both the school's heartthrob and the runner up" She said literarily jumping on me..
"But be careful... August is known to be difficult.." Anna suddenly said with a slight frown.
"Wow! Look who isn't mute anymore" Hazel teased Anna with an amused expression as Anna blushed profusely
August, Gu Ruoxue and her cliche then walked into the cafeteria...ordered then sat at the far end.. So random students entered also making the cafeteria look a little full even though it wasn't lunch... "Speak of the devil and he arrives" Hazel whispered to us in a cheeky way..
We all laughed but then suddenly a violent cough was heard which erased everyone's attention to August and his cliche... I heard gasps around me as everyone was shocked to see August choking, I was rather nonchalant about It as I didn't really know him and from when we met... I mean when he came to call camron he's been nothing but a jerk.
"Someone..Someone C-call the Nurse!!" Ruoxue shouted as she looked at August her face pale and worried... *sigh* I remembered when my older brother Leo was teaching me some Fighting skills he always said to use them to protect myself and others and never to use them for revenge... I think he taught me the Hymilick manuever.... Even though I dislike him... I've got to help him or my brothers will be disappointed in me.
With that thought in mind, I rushed over to August side and performed the Hymilick manuever, hugging him from the back as I applied pressure in my hands causing him to spit out what looks like a... Bun?
Immediately he spat it out, I was pushed away from him which made me drop him harshly to the ground as a result of that harsh shove, who shoved me?... I thought as I rubbed my shoulder to see it was Ruoxue... That brat!!!
"Why would you drop him like that?!? Are you trying to Injure him??" Ruoxue said acting as if she was not the reason I dropped him... "Here August have some water" She said her voice overly sweet with made me want to vomit... So I left, I simply said nothing and just left the cafeteria.. Hazel and Anna following behind me....
Once I got to class, I positioned my book in a way it'll block my head while I rested...dozing off after a while..
Meanwhile as charlie slept, the class got filled one by one until all the students were seated and they were all talking about how charlie saved August...
--** August POV **--
I headed for the cafeteria after practice, with ruoxue and the others... As soon as we were seated with our dishes, I thought about when I bumped into camron and the new kid about to kiss or maybe they were even kissing...*sigh* I can't believe she's all over camron that fast anyways maybe she's one of those leeches or she's a gold digger after his money... *Arghh* why am I even thinking about her... And her blank face.. Why am I bothered by what I saw... Why am I intrigued by her cold gaze
"Hey! Earth to August... What's wrong??" My best buddy maltadore asked as he saw I wasn't eaten yet... "Nothing malta... Don't worry" I said with my signature poker face as I threw a bun in my mouth
"Hmm... Maybe its the new kid that's got August all distracted" one of my friends a girl named Kaccy teased
"*Ugh* why her again??" Ruoxue groaned.. Ruo, kaccy and malta are my childhood friends we've been through a lot together.... That's why even though I know about the rumor of me and Ruo dating I never addressed it as I new she was the one that spread it and I don't want her to lose face... Ruoxue was spoilt aside from that she's not that bad, she's a good person...
I don't know why I imagined Charlie's face when they talked about her... I imagined her aqueous eyes and her waist length curly brown hair,porcelain skin and beautiful figure...*damn* I gulped swallowing the whole bun which led to my choking fit...
I stared at her back as she left gracefully... Even though everyone always assumed charlie was some poor girl... I always suspected otherwise...like damn,she carries herself well...I admired
When I walked into class later, my eyes unconsciously fell on the sleeping charlie..she looked like sleeping beauty...our Mathematics teacher then entered so we all settled down and I went to my seat instead of heading for charlie...' I'll thank her in the bus...' I thought with a small smile...
