"No… you won't be attending," Ji Mingyaun half-yelled.
"Why? Isn't the supposed ritual held in my honor?" Liang Chen rolled his eyes as he turned to walk past Ji Mingyuan, but the green-eyed devil yanked his hand backwards.
"I will talk, and you will listen," Ji Mingyaun roared, his nails digging into Liang Chen's arm.
"No." Liang Chen pushed him backwards as his eyes blazed with rage and his lips trembled. He stared at Ji Mingyaun, his finger stretched toward his chest as he pounded him. "I've always listened."
"Have you?" Ji Mingyaun snarled.
"Oh, come off it. How would you expect me to listen when every time you pushed me towards the limelight? Don't play me for a fool, Mingyaun. I know what you're doing… using me as a shield to fight your family, to break the rules and pretend to be the perfect candidate for the crown… and you dare stand here and accuse me of not listening?"
