Well, a lot happened in this chapter.

*Looking around for her friends, Miwa arrived in a dark alley.*
"Ow, my head." Miwa was holding her head with one hand, while using the other to keep her balance against a wall. "I must....find the others."
Miwa stumbled over her feet, falling to the ground as she first now noticed how drained she was of her powers. "Fucking spider lady, creepy bone lady, stupid dad."
"..... Dad, no....not this again." Miwa started thinking back to the past, some parts were still blurry for her. But the memory of Wukong losing to the Jade Emperor and her trying to save him, she could still remember.
"I'm not losing him again, nor papa for that matter. Wherever he is currently." Miwa slowly got up, a cosmic aura surrounding her. "I'm not letting anyone take my parents from me again, be it Buddha or the Jade Emperor!" She glared up at the Wishing Stars, her eyes now golden. "Whoever you might think I am, I'm not going back."
Miwa ran out of the alleyway, looking past all the chaos happening around her, until she heard a well-known voice.
"Father!" A Spider-Bot launches at Redson and gets into a tussle, before he burns it up. The case of the venom lands in his hand. He runs off and pulls off the covers to his Inferno Jet. "Sorry, Father. I will come ba–"
"Redson!" Miwa ran over to him, for once, actually happy to see him as she jumped onto the jet.
"Noodle girl?! What are you doing here? And would you get out of my jet! It wasn't building for two people!" Redson exclaimed in frustration, but Miwa simply ignored him.
"Ooo, what does this button do?" Miwa pressed the button without a thought, and they blasted off.
"Would you sit still, and get off my jet!" shouted Redson annoyed.
"Hmmm, I'll love to get off. But I need to gather my strength." Miwa got herself comfortable, while using her tails to keep herself on to the jet. "I also need to get to my friends, I can't save my dad on my own. Like you can't save your father on your own."
Redson was about to say something, but stopped when she kept talking for a bit. "Wait, your dad?"
Miwa gave a slight shrug, not seeing a reason to really hide the fact anymore. "Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, is my dad."
"That explains the monkey features." said Redson looking at her, noticing her golden eyes but didn't comment on that. "And what do you mean with I can't save my father on my own?! Unlike you, I'm fully capable of doing that!"
Miwa gave him a deadpanned look, checking him out for a moment. "Yeah, right, if you could save your father on your own. We wouldn't be flying off to who knows where."
"If you don't know where we are going, then why are you here?!" Redson shouted, his hair bursting out in flames.
Miwa was about to answer until she noticed something. "Watch out?!"
Redson took a look and saw Syntax fires up all the cannons in the base and shoots them at Redson and Miwa. They manages to escape all but one.
"Aaaaah!" Miwa started screaming when they got hit, and they started going down. "Redson do something!"
"What do you think I'm doing?! And your screaming isn't helping!" shouted Redson as he was trying to stop them from crashing.
"Wait, I have an idea!" Miwa got on the front of the jet, trying her best not to fall off as she tried using her cosmic powers to form stars around them. Hoping it would soften the landing.
Miwa thought for a second she heard a voice, but before she knew it. Sandy punches the jet, busting it into pieces.
Sandy quickly caught both of them, gently putting Miwa down first as she let out a relieved sigh.
"Miwa?!" shouted Mei, surprised to see her.
"Redson?!" shouted Mk when he noticed him too, as Sandy drops him.
"Get him!" shouted Mei, not giving him a chance to explain.
"No— "They all, except Miwa, pounce on him anyway. "Get off me, you filthy peasants!"
"What are you doing here, Redson?" Mk questioned him. "And how did Miwa end up with you?"
"Yeah, spill! You one of the Spider Queen's henchmen now, huh?" Mei questioned, skeptical of him.
"Henchmen?" Redson seethes and throws everyone off him. "Not that any of you would care, but my father was captured by that eight-legged freak! So, if you'll excuse me, I'll just steal this ship and be on my way."
"Wait, what?! That's not—" said Mk in shock and disbelief.
"Ugh, fine! Will you let me steal your ship so I can go save my father and also the world from this spider menace, please?" said Redson, trying to sound more genuine.
"Are you serious?!" shouted Mei, annoyed.
"You can't steal the ship!" shouted Mk, simultaneously.
"Would you all just shut up already!" shouted Miwa, finally speaking up and with the cosmic energy going crazy around her.
"Redson 2.0 has returned." Mei whispered to Mk, which Redson was able to hear, and he let out an offended scoff. "Excuse me?!"
"I don't give a shit about any of this beef right now! What I do care about is us taking down Spider Queen, and saving my dad along with Redson's father! Have I made myself clear!" Miwa growled, narrowing her eyes angrily at everyone.
Everyone nervously nodded, agreeing to what she was saying. Just so she would calm down, hopefully.
Miwa let out a heavy sigh, placing a hand to her head. "Good."
Redson cleared his throat, getting the others' attention now, and pulls out a vial. "The Spider Queen's venom. It's turned everyone into her slaves, but I can make an antidote. However, I'll need supplies and the only place to get them is." He points up.
Mk looks up in wonder. "Space."
"No, you Noodle Brain! The Celestial Realm!" shouted Redson in frustration.
"The Celestial Realm?! The realm of heavenly deities and immortal beings?!" Pigsy tugs Tang back.
Miwa was shaking her head with a sigh.
"Sure." said Redson, unimpressed.
"So if you get to spa—uh, the Celestial Realm, you can fix all of this?" Mk questioned.
"Kid, you're not really considering this, are you?" said Pigsy glancing at him.
"Well..." said Mk, slightly hesitant.
"WHAT?!" Mei and Pigsy shouted in disbelief.
"Mk, are you serious?! It's Red... Boy!" said Mei, pointing towards Redson.
"He's literally a demon!" said Pigsy, trying to reason with Mk.
"Oh, pretty rich coming from Pig Man, the blue thing and the monkey girl!" Redson exclaimed.
Mk considers the options as they start fighting again.
Miwa gently placed a hand on Mk's shoulder, gaining his attention. "I know Redson isn't the most trustworthy person, but he just wanna save his father. Like I wanna save mine."
Mk looked at her and noticed her golden eyes, blushing slightly but tried keeping his focus on track. He gave her a soft smile, placing a hand on top of hers, and looked back at the others. "Let's help him."
"Huh?" Everyone looked over at Mk, surprised he would suggest that.
"What other choice do we have? Look, Spider Queen won't see this coming. It's the best plan we've got. So I say, let's help a demon rob the Celestial Realm." said Mk with a confident smile.
Mei, Pigsy, and Redson glare at each other.
"Great, finally we are getting somewhere." said Miwa with a relieved smile, before then passing out. Only now noticing how exhausted she was.
"Miwa?!" Everyone quickly rushed over to check up on her, worried whether she was gonna be okay.
*Flashback.*
"Oh, stars as old as time, in the ancient sky of night. Grant me this wish as I, oh so, desire. Let my wish reach you, oh so far away and yet close. Oh wishing stars, grant my desired wish." The voice of someone wishing could be heard, even from how far away they might be.
"What a deep and personal wish, it's been a while since someone made a wish." said Green Star.
"Are we sure about granting this wish? The last time we granted a wish. It was simply to get our attention, having us use our powers for a pointless reason." said Yellow Star.
"No, this wish is pure and full of love and care. We haven't had such a wish for millions of years." said Blue Star.
"We thought our existence had gotten lost with time, but looks like someone found the wishing words to reach out for a wish." said Purple Star.
"Such a sweet and beautiful wish. One I oh, so wish for as well. A family." said Red Star.
"Red, you know we can't make our own wishes." said Green Star.
"We grant wishes, we don't have any reason to wish for ourselves." said Purple Star.
"I don't care! It's the same thing every time, and right now, there is someone with the same wish as I have!" shouted Red Star.
"You will not grant this person's wish, you will stand back and let Green grant it." said Blue Star.
"Blue is right, as Wishing Stars we have a role to uphold, and can't be selfish." said Yellow Star.
"It's not fair, I'm tired of this. Sitting here and repeating everything. Unlike you four, I'm the one who has done most of these kinds of wishes, for so long." said Red Star.
"As Wishing Stars, we can't be greedy nor make our own ideals." said Purple Star.
"..... Is it really too much for me to wish for a real family that trusts and loves me?" Red Star turned their attention down to the person making the wish.
"I'm granting this wish, whatever the others likes it or not. But this will be different, unlike all the other times. I'm locking away my, —"
*End of flashback.*
Miwa slowly woke up, groaning as she rubbed her head. "That was a weird dream." Looking around, she noticed she was inside the ship. Walking outside, she was surprised to see the Celestial Realm. "Wow."
"Miwa, how are you feeling?" Sandy asked, walking over with some tea.
"Oh, hey Sandy. I have a bit of a headache, but I'm fine otherwise." Miwa took the cup of tea, and took a sip of it. "Where the others?"
"Oh, they are busy getting the stuff we need to make that antidote." Sandy told her with a gentle smile.
"Hmm." Miwa took another glance at the realm. "I see why, dad and papa, couldn't stop stealing and messing with the Celestial Realm."
"I'm surprised you haven't taken off to catch up with the others, thought you would after waking up." said Sandy, raising an eyebrow.
Miwa gave a light smile, having her tails wrap around her left arm. "Unlike my parents, and the others. I'm not up for stealing anything from the Celestial Realm, I've already had my share with this realm."
Sandy took notice of her tails around her left arm, and the nervous look on her face. "I see, then I guess you can just stay here with me until they come back."
Miwa nodded, taking another sip of her tea, and waited for the others to return.
"Wanna help with fixing my mech while we wait? It could take a while." Sandy suggested.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind helping. Keeps me focus on something else." Miwa finished her tea, and began helping Sandy.
*Some time later, Sandy and Miwa have finished fixing Sandy's mech.*
"Good as new, I'll say." said Miwa with a proud smile.
"Sandy! Miwa!" Sandy and Miwa turns to see Pigsy and Tang running towards them. jumping on board.
"Pigsy! Tangy! You got the pills!" Sandy asked.
"Uh huh! We also have spiders!" Tang fiercely points at Huntsman running towards them. "They followed us here!"
"Oh." said Sandy, seeing the reason for their panic.
"I'm getting really tired of spiders." said Miwa with an annoyed sigh.
"Where are the others?!" Pigsy questioned, seeing that the rest wasn't there.
"Sandy!" They see Mei carrying Redson with Strong Spider after them.
"Start the engines! It's time to go!" shouted Tang while Mei hops on.
"What about Mk?" Pigsy asked.
"Sandy!" They see Mk being chased by the Lion Guardians. "Start! The! Drone!" Sandy starts up the engines.
Miwa watched and noticed that he wouldn't be able to make it. "You big idiot." She jumped off and skated through the air.
"Mk!" Miwa formed a star under Mk's feet and had it fly him towards the others.
"Miwa! What about you?!" Mk shouted as he got sent off.
"I'll catch up!" shouted Miwa before turning her attention back to the Strong Spider and Huntsman.
"Looks like we aren't returning empty-handed, after all." said Huntsman, letting out a laugh.
"The Queen is gonna be so happy when we bring you back." said Strong Spider, charging at her.
Miwa narrowed her eyes at him and took a glance at the Lion Guardians, an idea forming in her head. As she thought back to hers and Mk's training with Wukong earlier.
"I'm kind of busy at the moment, maybe have her leave a call and plan another day." Miwa quickly began dodging their attacks, while keeping their attention away from the Guardians.
Miwa was able to dodge at the last second when Huntsman threw a net at her, but then got tackled by Strong Spider.
"Not so tough now, little monkey." Strong Spider went on to grab Miwa's left arm, tightening his grip.
Miwa held back a painful whimper, as tears started forming at the corner of her eyes. "No one calls me little monkey, except my dad." She used her tails to wrap around the arm holding her up, and forced herself forward and began singing in a low tone. Causing Strong Spider to grow sleepy and let got of her.
Quickly summoning her spear, and swung it around, just in time to cut the net Huntsman was trying to throw at her. "I'm not gonna be caught off guard this time."
"Now, if you'll excuse me." Miwa took a few steps into the air, just as the Lion Guardians proceed to tear the two apart.
Not wanting to waste anymore time, Miwa began skating through the air. Eyes glowing red as she made a portal back to the Mortal Realm.
*Back in the Mortal Realm.*
"Hmmm, where could they have gone to without being noticed by the Spider Queen?" Miwa wondered for a moment, looking around for a bit from the sky. "Of course! Flower Fruit Mountain!"
Miwa's smile slowly faded away when she noticed the big open sea. "Great, water." With a deep breath, and trying to keep her focus towards the mountain. She started skating at full speed, like a shooting star going across the sea.
*At Flower Fruit Mountain.*
"I, Redson, will find the powers of the Celestial artifacts with the Spider Queen's own venom, save my father, and reforge the world as I see fit!" Said Redson, letting out a laugh.
"Redson, that was amazing!" said Mei excited with a smile.
"Such a good hero speech." said Mk with a big grin.
"Villain speech! And perhaps my be–" Said Redson before being cut off mid-sentence.
"Guys!" Miwa let out a relieved sigh when she found them and landed back on the ground, though didn't get a chance to catch her breath. As both Mk and Mei tackled her into a hug.
"Miwa, you're alright! We were so worried you might have gotten captured again!" said Mk with big teary eyes.
"I can't believe you'll do something as crazy, like taking on those two on your own!" said Mei with amazement.
Miwa let out a soft laugh, wrapping her friends into a tight hug before letting go. "Hah, those two were hardly any trouble."
"Okay, this is all fine and dainty, but what do we do now, guy?" Pigsy questioned, looking over at Redson.
"We do nothing. I add the ingredients in a very precise order, you wouldn't understand." Redson went on to explain, while no one noticed Mk going on to put in the ingredients.
"Uh, there's only two more ingredients, Red Boy." said Mei with a frustrated sigh.
"How would you even mess up two ingredients?" Miwa questioned, slightly confused.
"And I already chucked them in." said Mk, gaining everyone's attention, more so Redson.
"What?!" Redson shouted in anger.
"You're welcome." said Mk with a bright smile.
Everyone is left on the ground, coughing. They go over to check the antidote.
Miwa simply went over and patted Redson's back. "Just let it go, what's done is done."
"I don't need your sympathy!" Redson exclaimed, blushing ever so slightly.
"Whatever you say, Chili." Miwa pulled her hand away from him, but did give him a smile.
"Ooh, I think it worked." said Tang with a positive smile.
"Alright. Time to take the fight back to the Spider Queen and end this nightmare once and for all." said Mk with pure confidence.
"How? Those spider people aren't just gonna line up for a sip." said Pigsy crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
"And even if they did, are we forgetting about Spider Queen? She defeated the Monkey King! How are you..." said Tang, a little unsure.
"We'll find a way! We always do." said Mk full of hope and with a bright smile.
"Mk's right, we'll find a way. Somehow." said Miwa turning to look towards the city. "I'm not losing my dad this time."
"Well, I might have an idea." Sandy pulls out another remote and presses the button. Water shooters pop out.
"Oh, yeah!" shouted Mei, full of energy.
Miwa let out a long whistle. "Damn, you've been cooking, big guy."
"With this, we might have a chance!" said Mk with confidence.
*They then blast off with the antidote.*
Spider Queen is celebrating Year of the Spider. "Oh, here comes the spider float! And the spider dancers! This is how you rule the world!" She sees a Monkey King sign in the crowd. "What is that?"
"I don't know. It's not on the approved parade schedule." said Syntax, going on to take a look at the schedule.
*The team reveals themselves. The mysterious child disappears.*
"If it isn't Spider Queen throwing herself a party, prepare to meet your doom!" Mk cackles.
"Now that's a hero speech!" said Redson with a smirk.
"Eh, sounded more like a villain speech. But I guess anyone can take it their own way." said Miwa crossing her arms.
"Wow, Mk, you're handling your spider phobia so well." said Mei, impressed by how brave he was being.
"Huh, looks like you're doing much better than me, when facing your fears." said Miwa just as impressed but tried not to show it too much.
Up close, Mk is revealed to actually be sweating. "I'm internalizing a lot of stuff right now. Release the antidote!" The team releases the antidote.
"What? No." said Spider Queen in disbelief, watching the citizens returning to normal.
"Freedom. Freedom. I'm free! I'm free!" Cheered the citizens as the antidote was working on them.
"It's working! Let's finish this!" shouted Mei, getting ready for a fight.
"Your reign of horror is—" Mk trembles. "over."
"Keep it going, Mk. Don't stop now." said Miwa summoning her spear.
"Oh, Monkey Boy, you're nothing without your master. There's nothing that can stop me! Nothing!" Spider Queen exclaimed.
Spider Queen powers up her mech. Mk leaps at her with the staff, but she stops him and shoves him back. He crashes into the wall.
"Mk!" Mei and Miwa shouted worried.
The rest of the team jumps at her, but she catches them all but Miwa, in her webs.
"Not this time, Princess!" Miwa quickly cut the webs coming at her. "My turn." She charged at the Spider Queen with her spear in hand.
*At the base, Demon Bull King is trying to restrain Spider Queen's attempt to use his powers.*
"It's a shame, really. You being trapped here. No one to protect poor little Princess Iron Fan." Wukong taunted him from where he was hanging.
"My wife doesn't need protecting! She will decimate all in her way!" DBK's anger starts to break the webs.
Wukong kept going with a smirk on his face. "Oh yeah? How about your half-baked son? Spider Queen's gonna eat him alive, all because you were too weak." DBK rages and breaks through the webs. "Hah! It worked! Excellent!" DBK grabs him. "Whoa!" He slams him to the ground. "Buddy! I was just getting you angry so you can—"
"I know what you were doing, simian!" DBK rips off the webs from Wukong.
"Wait. Where are you going?" Wukong questioned when he watched him start leaving.
"To find my half-baked s... son. You better fix this and find your daughter." DBK barges out the base.
"I've honestly missed that guy." Behind Wukong, the mysterious child makes herself known. "So, you thought you had all the pieces right where you wanted them."
"There are so many moves I have yet to play. Like your so-called daughter." said the mysterious child with an eerie smile.
"You should have stayed buried." Wukong leaps at her, but she disappears.
"I will rip the memory of you from this world. And take the life from your daughter, for my wish." The mysterious child sends him visions of her inevitable future rule.
*Back with the Spider Queen and the others.*
Miwa could feel the pain in her left arm, after Strong Spider had almost broken it. Trying to think of a plan, she began summoning her shadow clones and had them distract Spider Queen. While she went to try and help the others.
"Miwa watch out!" shouted Mei, but it was already took late since the Spider Queen had seen a small chance and took it. Catching Miwa in her web, next to the others.
"I'm really starting to hate spiders." Miwa mumbled in annoyance, trying to pull herself free.
"Hmm. After all I've won and lost and won again, you think I was really gonna let some boy or child of the Monkey King take it from me. Bye bye, problem children." Spider Queen prepares to take Mk out first, but her powers go out. "Oh!" She sees the base losing power. "No. My powers!"
BDK bursts out. "I am no one's slave!" He lands and sends everyone flying, but he goes to Redson and rips off the webs.
"Father." Redson goes to free Mei and Miwa from the webs.
"Thanks Redson." said Miwa giving him a smile.
"Don't think too much about it, Ruby." Redson rolled his eyes, though a small blush appeared on his face.
"All of you together can't beat me! I am the Queen!" shouted Spider Queen, infuriated at everyone.
"Oh yeah?" They look up to see Wukong walking down the walls. He takes the staff and frees Mk. "Well, I'm the King. Turns out, I'm not so good with spiders either." He glances over at Miwa, and a relieved smile grows on his face.
Miwa was so relived to see Wukong was alright, and almost wanted to cry in joy. But had to hold it in for now, and because she didn't want to show that vulnerable side in front of everyone else.
"If I can't rule this world." Spider Queen uses her web to lift her back on to the base. "No one can! I'll level this whole city!" Mk and Wukong leap up to confront her.
"Alright, kiddo! It's now or never!" Wukong told Mk with a confident grin.
"Right." Mk nodded and grabbed the staff, glancing down at Spider Queen.
"Here! Comes! Monkie!" shouted Wukong and Mk.
"Kid." Wukong throws Monkie Kid.
"No!" Mk destroys the base, but then falls.
"No." Wukong catches him, but they still free-fall quickly. Demon Bull King leaps up and grabs them both as the base explodes. "Thank you—" Mk realizes who's he thanking. "Bull— Demon Bull King— Mr. King, sir?" He sees the sky, and they all look at the aurora lights, lighting up the skies. "Whoa!"
"Whoa." said Sandy in amazement.
"Hah, now those are New Year's fireworks! Huh?" said Wukong with a big smile, after getting put back down.
"Dad!" Miwa rushed over and wrapped arms around him, her body shaking ever so slightly as she tried holding back her tears.
Wukong was almost knocked over when Miwa hugged him, but a soft smile grew on his face. Wrapping his arms around her. "I'm here, little monkey. You and the others did great." He gently patted her head.
"I thought I would lose you again, I know you are strong and the great Monkey King. But I was so scared, I didn't know what to do." Miwa whispered in a low voice that only he could hear.
Wukong could understand where her fear was coming from, but he was just happy she didn't lose it like last time or worse. "It takes more than a little spider to take me out, and nothing is gonna keep me from returning to you." Though, a small reminder of what the mysterious child said, still remained at the back of his mind. Along with the way Miwa acted when trapped in the mech with him.
*Later, everyone is gathered on the rooftop, enjoying the rest of New Year's.*
"We should really get better at not smushing the city." said Mk looking over at destroyed city.
"Eh, priorities." said Wukong, to which they both laughed. "You did really good today, bud?"
"Are you okay? After—" said Mk, rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's fine, bud. It's dealt with. Want to tell your friends to take it down a bit?" Wukong peeks over his shoulder at Tang, who is gawking at him.
"Monkey King! I-I'm your biggest fan!" said Tang, getting all up in his face.
Miwa couldn't help but let out a laugh watching Wukong getting all uncomfortable. "This is all I want, everything back to normal. And having both of my parents around." Taking a glance down at her bandaged left arm, she almost chocked on her breath when she for a moment thought she saw her hand fading. But taking another look, it was all normal.
"What the? Did I just imagine it, or was my hand fading?" Miwa raised a confused eyebrow, but snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Tang's voice.
"Where did Monkey King go? Huh?" Tang sees a box of treats left by Wukong. "Oh. Well, don't mind if I do."
Mk watches Wukong fly off. "Happy New Year's, Monkey King."
"Ooh, yummy!" said Mei, excited to take a bite.
"Wait, no! Don't eat that!" said Mk in a panic, but it was already too late.
"Tastes like hair." said Tang, finding the taste strange.
Miwa let out a light giggle, watching the others. Before she noticed a slight movement of something landing next to her.
"I see you're enjoying yourself, though I thought you would be joining the others by now." said Wukong standing next to her.
Miwa gave him a shrug and turned to look at him. "I've had enough fun for the day. And will probably just go back home, but annoyingly, my apartment just had to be one of the target buildings to get destroyed."
Wukong let out a chuckle, patting her head. "You can stay at my place, you're always welcome there you know."
"I know dad, and for once, I don't really mind that offer. It's better than you kidnapping me." Miwa teased, with a light jab with her elbow.
"Hey, I didn't kidnap you. All I did was taking you back home, so you could be looked after." Wukong told her, in his defense.
Miwa rolled her eyes with a playful grin. "Whatever you say, dad." She wrapped her arms around him, and pulled him into a hug. "Happy New Year's dad."
"Happy New Year's, Miwa." Wukong returned the hug, while feeling her tails wrapping around his own.
