Then kids, that's the end of the story. Walks down from the stage.

People in the crowd cheering.

"WELL, THE EPIC MUSICAL PERFORMANCE WILL NOW BEGIN!"

The announcer energetically declared.

Suvro is hospitalized and Noor is acting strange all of a sudden. Did the incident affect him that much? Should I go look for him? Ashraf thought.

Abir Ajad sat beside him.

"Oh Noor, you're back... Oh my god!" Ashraf yelled, surprised.

"Woah, woah, calm down, it's okay.

Sir, I am a big fan of yours. I almost read every book of yours. Ca... can I get an autograph?" Ashraf excited.

"Sure."

"Oh my god I am so happy." Ashraf tears up.

In the storeroom.

Noor's body lay on the floor, motionless.

"Oi, he's dead."

Huff… huff…

Finally drops the metal pipe.

"Check if those idiots are alive or not."

"Arrrrgh…" Roy groans in agony.

The glass shard is stabbed into his femoral artery.

"Hey Roy, don't pull that out. The blood loss would be fatal."

"Boss, they're alive. Barely breathing. Looks like we need to get them to the hospital."

"The door is locked," Roy murmured.

"Maybe the key's in his pocket," one of his men suggested.

"No, when I punched him, it flew somewhere else," Roy replied.

"What about the dead body? We need to dispose of it before anyone finds out."

"Fzzzt… fzzzt…"

"What's with the light?"

"First look for the key. We will take care of the body after that."

They began looking for the key using their phone flashlights.

Krrk.

Hic. One of them startled.

Did the body just move? he thought.

The storeroom was big and cold; they left Noor's body behind. Roy sat on the floor holding his wound.

"Crazy bitch," he cursed.

Fzzzz.

"Oh shit, what's with the light again?"

"Oi, turn on all the lights in the room. Find the switchboard," Roy ordered.

"Sir, I wanted to ask you something but couldn't gather the courage because it kinda doesn't make any sense," Ashraf said.

"Does the speech I gave earlier, or the story I explained, make any sense? But people loved it. Go ahead, ask me," Abir Ajad replied.

Ashraf took a deep breath.

"Ahem… if the pure human's strength and durability vary on his emotional condition… what will happen if he mentally reaches a breaking point?" Ashraf asked confidently.

"Hmm, let me think. My grandfather hasn't written anything about that."

"Your grandfather?" Ashraf curious.

"Hmm. It's known the pure human legend existed nearly a century ago by folklore.

When I was a child, my grandfather used to tell me stories. Said he met Modhu. He even did some research around him. All I did was combine his research and folklore into one book."

"Do you believe in the stories? Even if it doesn't make any sense according to science?" Ashraf asked.

"Humph. Even our very existence doesn't make any sense. The pure human legend is just a small thing."

"But sir… you really didn't answer my main question. What will happen if he reaches a breaking point?" Ashraf said.

Sigh.

Abir Ajad stayed silent for a minute.

"Though I don't have any data based on that…

But if a pure human goes berserk, reaching his mental breaking point…"

The only thing I can say—"

His expression darkened.

"May God have mercy on his enemies."

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE WILL NOW BEGIN!"

Meanwhile in the storeroom.

"Hey, did you find the key?" Roy yelled.

"No boss," one man replied.

"Trnn–trnn–pling–pling–trnn!"

"Trrn–vaaang–trrn–vaaang!"

"Pling–trring–vraang–trn!"

"Trnrnrnrn–vaaannng!"

(Traditional instrument Veena playing in the background.)

"What's with the sound… it hurts my head."

"Arrgh."

"Looks like the musical performance began. It's echoing into the storeroom."

"Bzzzt… pop."

Everything pitch black.

"What the hell?"

"Freaking bastards can't even do a single task properly," Roy cursed.

"I found the switchboard."

Crank.

The storeroom became bright.

"You two find the key. We'll take care of the body—"

Gasp.

"What the hell…?"

The body is gone. Only blood left.

"Who did this?! Who hid the body?!" Roy snapped.

"I don't know, I was looking for the—"

"I was on the other side, maybe he did this."

"No I didn't!"

"No, you did! Come on, it's a dead body, it's not funny!"

"No, it's definitely him—!"

One of them noticed something on the other side.

"Gu… guys… what is that…?"

He pointed in that direction, shaking.

Their gaze shifted.

Eeeeek.

Gasp.

Suddenly a chill of terror ran through their spines.

Some fell to the floor screaming, some froze.

"Oh—oh noooo. Oh my god…"

Noor standing in front of them.

His dislocated head hanging to the right side.

Saliva and blood dripping from his mouth.

One side of his face covered in dust.

"Urragh…"

Some of them throw up.

"What the hell is that?!" They screamed in fear.

"SCCRRAAANG!"

Metal music started playing in the background along with the Veena, silencing their terrified screams.

Whatever it is, one of them rushed forward grabbing the metal pipe.

"Hahhhhh!" He swung at Noor with full force.

Whoosh.

Noor dodged while his head still hanging.

The man tripped and fell forward on the stack of broken glass, but stopped himself at the right time.

But Noor stood behind him.

"Phew, that was clo—"

Stomp.

Gsshk.

Urrrk.

Noor stomped onto his head. The glass shards impaled into his face and chest. Blood sprayed onto the ground.

The others stood in terror.

Noor grabbed his hanging head and then—

Crack.

Snap.

Snap.

He relocated it back into place.

He looked up, but his face no longer resembled a human.

Eyes rolled backwards.

Bleeding from nose, eyes, and forehead.

He unleashed a devious smile.

"Ehe… he… He.he… he…" he laughed creepily while smiling.

"Eeek… What kind of monster is that…? What in the world…?"

"Everyone grab something, we nee—"

Woosh.

Boom. Crack.

Urk.

Before he could finish, Noor punched him in the face. Blood sprayed upwards and the body fell onto the ground.

"Drops…"

"What… I couldn't even see him… it's like he just teleported," Roy said shocked.

Another one tried to grab Noor from behind—

Grabs.

Throws.

Smash.

Khuk.

But Noor grabbed him and smashed him into the ground. The ground cracked.

"Ain't no way that 100-pound kid threw our guy over 300 pounds," one of them said in disbelief.

Stomp.

Splarrt.

"Hehe… hi.. hi… hi—"

Noor stomped on the downed man's face, laughing like a maniac.

Another guy hit Noor's back with a brick, but Noor unleashed a 360 kick on him, sending him flying into the electrical board—electrocuted.

"HHRRKK—AAGH!"

Drops.

The remaining two tried to shove Noor with their sheer strength.

They started pushing him.

"Arrgggh… hurrgh… argh…!"

Noor groaned in rage.

"That's right! Push him back! Grab his arms so he can't hit us!"

But—

"Heheee… Heee hee…"

Noor smiled even more deviously.

He began overpowering the two of them alone, pushing them back.

"What the hell… he's getting stronger! I can't stop him anymore—!"

Arrgh!

Crack!

Snap!

"My arm!" One of them groaned.

Noor broke one's arm and threw him in front of the door.

He grabbed another one and shoved his knee into his solar plexus.

Crack.

Blurrgh.

The man coughed up blood.

Roy spotted a sledgehammer. He crawled and grabbed it, getting up using it for support.

Noor grabbed the man by the nape and threw him into the ground with monstrous force.

Wham.

Crack.

The ground broke.

Grabs.

Smash. Smash.

"Hi.hi.hi… hahaah—!"

Noor grabbed his hair and started smashing the guy's face over and over again, laughing.

"Haaaaah!" Roy attacked Noor with the sledgehammer, swinging with full force.

Wham.

Blocks.

Crack.

Noor blocked the hit, but it dislocated his right hand, left hanging.

He kicked Roy.

Whump.

"Urgh!"

Roy fell backwards.

One of the injured guys found the lock's key and tried to unlock the door.

"NO ESCAPE," Noor whispered.

Twack.

Smasssh.

Guk…

Noor dropkicked him in the face with full force.

He coughed up blood on the door and dropped limp.

"What the hell are you? What kind of monster— arrgh!" Roy yelled in terror, getting up.

"What kind of monster am I?

Ha… ha…

Born by hatred.

I feed on pain and suffering."

Snaps.

Noor grabbed his dislocated hand and snapped it back into place.

"What kind of bullshit are you saying?! I am going to kill you! Arghhhh!"

Roy rushed to Noor, clenching his fist.

"Heh." Noor smirked.

Whammm.

Crack.

Smash.

Their punches collided, but Noor's punch was so devastating it crushed Roy's arm and smashed into his face, sending him flying several meters away.

Noor stepped forward.

Roy punched him with the other hand in the face—but it did nothing.

Wham.

Grabs.

Twist.

Snap.

"Ahhhhhh! Arrghhh!"

Noor grabbed Roy's arm and twisted it into the wrong direction, completely breaking it.

He shoved his fist into Roy's ribcage.

Thud.

Crack.

Urk.

He felt something crack.

Noor grabbed Roy and picked him over his head—

and smashed him into the ground.

Smassssh.

Crack.

The floor cracked.

"Bruugh…"

Roy coughed up blood.

Huff… huff…

Noor fell to his knees.

He looked at his hands—covered in blood.

His body felt completely numb.

His heart began aching.

His breath became heavy.

He picked the key with a shaky hand and unlocked the door.

Cough… cough…

"Arrgh…" Roy groaned in pain.

"What the hell…

What the hell!" He yelled.

"Do you think you can get away with this?! I will take revenge!

I will make you pay— and everyone with you— Argh! Cough!"

"What did you say?" Noor stopped.

"I said I will—"

Smashhh.

"Urk—!"

Blood flew onto the wall.

"You beat my friend to near-death.

You tried to kill me without hesitation.

You also broke Ashraf's arm.

You dared stalk a high school girl despite her rejecting you every time.

And now… in this condition… you have the guts to threaten me?"

"Arrrahh…" Roy groaned.

"I really hate people like you.

Who always think they are above everything.

Who hurt the weak thinking it's the right thing to do."

Noor clenched his shaking fist and grabbed Roy by the hair.

"I don't want trashbags like you messing with my friends!" Noor yelled.

"Huh—?"

Smash.

Hah.

Smash.

Hahhh.

Smash.

Khuk.

Noor began repeatedly punching Roy in the face with his strength.

Roy became limp, but he didn't stop punching.

One of Roy's men— the electrocuted one—

was conscious, but his body was paralyzed except for his face.

"Oh no… you… Roy…

Please… anybody… help…

Help… please… stop…

God… argh… hic… help…

Please… anybody…

Somebody…"

He yelled in terror and agony.

Some time later—

everything became pin-drop silent.
