The first monster lunged at her, the rotten stench rolling off its body so strong it nearly made Kelly gag.
She activated Star Dance instantly, twisting backward as a set of claws sliced through the air above her. A purple sword formed in her hand in a heartbeat, and she slashed it across the creature's gut.
Squelch!
The monster shrieked and split apart, its viscera spilling messily across the ground.
Kelly gritted her teeth, fighting the urge to retch. But she didn't get a moment to breathe. More monsters lunged from every direction, shrieking and growling.
Purple blades materialized around her, spinning once before tearing outward. They carved through the horde, ripping through bone and flesh with sharp, brutal precision.
Blood and gore rained.
