The sun was shining, students were streaming out, and the wind blew hard. The doors swung open. It was Kiro who pushed through the main entrance, accompanied by a white-haired girl whose hair was shaped like a snowflake. Kiro was in his school uniform, and the girl was his childhood friend. He was chatting easily with her.
"It's a calm day. I'll figure out whether I'm going on vacation or staying home," Kiro said.
"I'll think about what to do too, but I have to go now. I've got work to do," his friend said with a smile.
She ran off, but Kiro noticed a truck barreling toward her at full speed. Instinct took over. Just as she was about to be hit, Kiro shoved her out of the way and took the impact himself. He was thrown into a wall and knocked unconscious, blood running from his forehead.
Elsewhere, a mountain road led to another city. A blue-haired boy was running through the streets and up the mountain, but he didn't notice the hole ahead of him. When he looked down, he realized he was falling through a pitch-black hole. His body slammed into rocky ground, and he lay there unconscious and injured.
After a while, ambulances wailed in the distance. The boy was taken to a hospital, but it was a strange, unsettling one, and the air inside was heavy, as if some dominating force ruled the place. He was laid on a bed, and several doctors came in to examine his wounds. Then one of them, a doctor with one completely black eye, picked up a syringe filled with a purple-blue liquid. He approached the boy, who was Sone, and injected the syringe into his head. Sone's blue hair began to reshape itself into three large spikes at the back of his head. His eyes snapped open, and he knocked the doctors out with a single kick. He looked around and saw the door standing open.
Outside, something caught his attention: a syringe resting inside a crack that seemed to hold an entire universe. He spotted a broken window and an idea hit him. He grabbed the syringe and hurled it through. It sailed in and landed in the neck of a boy. It was Worh. He woke up and killed a black creature called Uhios with one punch, then smashed through the wall and headed toward the sound of running footsteps. Sone found another crack with another syringe, grabbed it, and threw it through a nearby window. It flew through and landed in Kiro's arm. Inside Kiro's head, his emotions began to change.
A few seconds later, Kiro woke up and felt a strength he had never felt before. He stepped into the hallway and found the other two protagonists. Kiro, Worh, and Sone stood face to face, Kiro in the middle, Worh on the right, and Sone on the left, staring at one another.
Suddenly a scream echoed down the corridor from behind a purple door. They rushed toward it. When they threw the door open, they saw a boy and a girl locked in cages. Something dropped from above. It was a man with bolts in his shoulders, the first Boss.
"What are you doing here? Don't you know you shouldn't enter where you haven't been called?" Boss 1 said, his voice stern.
"I have no idea who you are, but let those kids go," Kiro replied.
"I won't. And you shouldn't challenge this place, or you'll face far worse things in the future," the Boss said.
Worh tore a chunk out of the wall and hurled it at the Boss, but he reacted instantly,Dodging the thrown object . Sone lunged in and landed a heavy kick to his face. The Boss's nose began to bleed, and he was knocked back a step. Kiro slipped in behind him and killed him with a single punch. The Boss exploded into a thousand pieces. Sone and Worh rushed to the children, broke open the cages, and carried them out of the hospital. As they left, the air returned to normal.
"My... my parents live around here... Can you take me to them?" the girl asked, her voice trembling.
The protagonists let out a sigh and called the police from a passerby's phone. The girl was reunited with her parents, but the boy stayed behind.
"You need to go back to your parents too," Kiro said gently.
"I don't know where my parents are. I can't remember where I live," the boy answered.
"Then stay with us, and we'll figure out what to do with you," Worh declared.
The boy nodded and followed the protagonists...
The End.
