(ON SECOND FLOOR)
Vishnu came up to Vishi and said, "I took around fifteen to twenty people down there." He paused, looked at Hordon, and continued, "But they'll keep coming up, just like winged ants."
While Vishnu spoke, Vishi was pouring alcohol on Hordon.
"We'll try to distract them by using this guy here," Vishi said.
Vishnu replied, "I don't have many magazines left. I collected everything from the guys we took down."
"How many do you have?" Vishi asked.
"Five."
"Give one to me—you keep the rest," Vishi said.
Suddenly Yoshida spoke up. "My people will be coming here soon, as you instructed me to call them… but there will only be around twenty people or so in this district."
Vishnu turned to Vishi. "Why did you tell him to call his guys?"
Vishi answered, "I have to use everything within my control or…"He paused, looked at Vishnu, and continued, "We'll be dead."
Vishnu mumbled to himself, "She might be coming…"
Vishi ignored the mumbling. Suddenly, several of Hordon's men came up to the floor and started shooting at Vishi and Vishnu. They immediately took cover. Vishnu shot back, killing a few, but he missed some shots because he was still injured from the previous fights.
Then Vishi suddenly stepped out in front of all of Hordon's men, dragging Hordon in his grip, and shouted:
"ALL OF YOU STOP SHOOTING! If you don't, I'll set your boss on fire—he's drenched in alcohol!"
His eyes pointed at the lighter in his left hand.
The attackers hesitated for a moment. Hordon had once told them:
"Whenever you have two options—saving me, or killing our enemy—you must always obliterate the enemy. Nothing is more enjoyable to me than seeing my enemy perish like me."
And he had given them the creepiest smile they'd ever seen.
That smile resurfaced in their memories—and they immediately started shooting again, not caring about Hordon's life.
Vishi quickly dove back into cover.
Hordon laughed again. "I told you—you're fucked today… just like your mom."His maniacal laughter echoed across the floor.
Yoshida shivered as he looked at Hordon and thought, "It's good that I never messed with this guy."
While continuing to shoot, Vishnu asked Vishi, "What should we do now?"
Before Vishi could answer, someone else began shooting Hordon's men from the stairs. From what Vishi could see, those newcomers were armed with SMGs.
Vishnu's face lit up—he was overjoyed.
When the gunfire ended and every single one of Hordon's men was dead, a female voice spoke:
"How was my surprise?"
A girl around Vishnu's age stepped out from behind the SMG-holding men.
Vishnu replied, "Quite a good one, to be honest."He walked toward her, looking at her beautiful face. She had said she'd arrive in one hour, but she reached in just forty minutes. He thought, "She hasn't changed much."
Vishi asked Vishnu, "Who is she?"
"Oh yeah," Vishnu replied. "She's the one who gave us the info."
Shika looked at Vishi. "Oh, your friend. Hello."
The way she said it could have melted the hearts of many boys Vishi's age—but he looked at her differently:
"A girl who can command people like this is not ordinary."
Hordon, still alive, was shocked that his plan had failed, yet he kept laughing.Yoshida was in disbelief as he stared at the armed SMG men.
Vishnu asked Vishi, "What do you want to do with them?"
After thinking, Vishi answered, "Let's burn the building… with everyone inside."
"Everyone?" Vishnu asked, looking toward room no. 7.
Vishi nodded.
Thirty minutes later, the entire building was on fire. Vishi left Yoshida alive, and Yoshida's people carried him away.
As the building burned, Vishi remembered something his mother once told him:
"Son, it is a ritual in our religion that when someone dies, we burn them so they can go to the afterlife warmly."
Suddenly Shika received a call on her device. After ending it, she turned toward Vishnu and said:
"THE SUPREME wants to meet your friend."
