Looking at the bear, Michael doesn't understand how he is fighting.
The bear uses an energy that pulls Michael closer to him, and then he slams Michael onto the floor with a clean blow.
This bear is not normal. He has eaten the NIT Crystals that were being produced by the Iron Fang Syndicate, which was destroyed by Lacod Junyu.
This means he is not a normal animal. He is like us.
TO WIN THE TRUST OF THE ENTIRE TOWN, I HAVE TO ATTRACT HIM TO WHERE EVERYONE IS AND DEFEAT HIM THERE, WHICH CAN BE DONE EASILY.

Michael leads the bear into Crimson Reach.
Suddenly, the bear goes into a rage and starts destroying the town.
Michael had already applied some blood on himself and the bear to make everyone think they had been fighting.
Michael shouts,
"AHHH! DIE ALREADY! I WON'T LET YOU KILL ANYONE HERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE MY PEOPLE! I HAVE TO PROTECT THEM FROM YOU! I CAN'T LET MY PRECIOUS ONES DIE!"

With one blow, Michael beheads the bear, but acts like he has injured his arm to gain more sympathy.
The town erupts into applause as everyone starts shouting,
"MIKE!!! MIKE!!! MIKE!!!"
"YOU ARE THE HERO!!!"
"LOVE YOU, MIKE!!"
As the doctors are taking him away, Lucien Draven arrives at the scene.
"Wow... you have earned quite an audience. Where are the rest of the squad?"
Mike lowers his eyes as he is ashamed by the fact that he could not save them, but inside his mind, he is laughing as hard as he can.
He replies coldly,
"I am sorry, Lucien. I could not save them. I let you down."
(Tears come out of his eyes.)
"It was not your fault, Mike. You tried your best. At the end, that's what matters."
"Yeah... I know, sir. Sorry."
I, LUCIEN, GIVE YOU A ONE-WEEK BREAK TO RECOVER FROM YOUR INJURY AND GET BETTER.
Michael thinks,
"SHIT... THAT GIVES ME LESS TIME, BUT IT WILL HELP ME GATHER INFORMATION."

I THINK I HAVE JUST FOUND THAT ONE PERSON... BUT I AM IN A DILEMMA NOW. WHAT DO I DO? TRY TO MAKE THINGS WORK WITH HER, OR FOCUS ON THE MISSION, OR JOIN LUCIEN?"
